So much better service than the one in front of UCLA and with a parking lot. Going to come here from now on. Note: The parking spaces are small, so maybe not ideal for big vehicles. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

genuinely hate leaving a review like this, and I honestly regret having to do it, because the two guys working the counter have always been nice to me. But the owners/management have taken this store in a direction that feels unfair, confusing, and completely unresponsive -- and I can't recommend this location at all. I've used this UPS Store as my mailbox / package delivery address for about two years. Before I chose them, I checked other UPS Store locations in the area. This one is more expensive, they're not open on Sundays, and the parking is bad. I still chose them anyway because I needed Sunday access and privacy. After I asked a lot of questions, they finally allowed me to use a fob so I could access my mailbox on Sundays. Once that was set up, everything was going smoothly and I was planning to be a long-term customer -- like 10-20 years. Then out of nowhere, the store started sending me emails constantly (daily) saying I can't receive more than about 4 packages per month (it may be somewhere between 4-8 depending on what they're calling the "limit") and that I'm "over my limit" and will be charged an overage fee for every package over that number. That's ridiculous for a paid mailbox service. Even something basic like ordering a few items (example: a few boxes of stamps) could put you one package over and suddenly you're being charged extra. The biggest issue: I never signed any contract or document agreeing to an overage fee or a monthly package cap. No one explained this at signup, and I was never warned that they could suddenly start charging me additional fees per package like this. It feels like they just made up new rules after the fact and are trying to hold me to them. What made this go from frustrating to unacceptable is the complete lack of response. I've tried to resolve this the normal way: * I went in person * I called * I emailed the manager multiple times * I sent messages repeatedly And I received no response from ownership/management. None. This has only gone this far because I kept trying to communicate like a reasonable customer and it's like talking to a wall. I also paid for mailbox service because I do not want packages delivered to my home. I don't want anyone knowing where I live, and I don't want my items stolen. I always pick my packages up quickly -- same day most of the time -- except recently I had back-to-back surgeries and I literally can't walk normally right now, so I couldn't pick things up as fast as usual. During this period, I had situations where the store said they didn't see my packages, and then later I received a late pickup notice. That is incredibly stressful when you're paying for secure delivery and already dealing with medical recovery. At this point, I'm not just upset about the money -- it's the unfairness and the uncertainty. If a business can change terms midstream and then ignore every attempt to discuss it, it puts customers in a terrible position. I'm now sitting here wondering: if I renew next year, are they going to come up with another new set of "rules" and fees again? And if I leave, I have to change my address on everything -- which is a huge hassle because I already updated this address everywhere specifically because I planned to stay with them long-term. I truly regret choosing this store. The front staff are kind, and that's why it's sad to see it handled like this by the owners. But between the surprise overage-fee emails, the lack of any signed agreement for these fees, the ongoing confusion about packages, and the complete non-response from management, I cannot recommend this location. If you decide to use this UPS Store, get every single policy, limit, and fee in writing upfront -- because they may change things on you later and you may not be able to get anyone to respond. read more

The UPS Store - Then they said oh we can refund you your mailbox fees today and you can stop using us - Shipping Centers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Super friendly staff. Service is fast and efficient, and the staff go out of their way to make sure you're getting what you need. They are a throwback to another time where customer service actually mattered. read more

Had a quick drop off return on an early morning. Not withstanding huge, long line of lots of impatient people, Julian, was super friendly and had a great attitude. I highly recommend this UPS store location for your packaging and shipping needs. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to warrant one. After spending a significant amount of time trying to get assistance, we were met with dismissive responses and a complete lack of professionalism. Manager Chris Grogan was unhelpful from the start and seemed uninterested in resolving the issue or providing clear answers. When we asked for an update after being kept waiting, he sarcastically stated that he was speaking with "tech support," which only added to the frustration. Rather than treating us with courtesy and respect, he came across as arrogant and condescending throughout the interaction. The overall experience was disappointing and left a lasting negative impression of the business. read more

I went in there yesterday morning to pick up a package, and the staff was very rude to me , and treated me with contempt. I don't understand why they employ hateful people. read more

Dropping off returns is a breeze. The parking lot does get quite full, but there is never wait inside. Always very friendly, fast, efficient and helpful. read more

Bait and switch - do not send your mail here. Do not get a mailbox at the UPS store. Choose another location in the area. If you can after you get your mailbox, they will switch the policy on you. They won't allow you to receive more than two packages per month and every package after two packages you have to pay them a fee. Also, if your package is there more than 24 hours they charge you a fee. They started doing this to me randomly and charging me tons of money also they don't have 24 hour entrance into the building. The parking is terrible and they charge you for every single thing and they bait and switch and try to charge you more money there's several other locations that don't do that. I do not recommend you going here. Also, when you get ready to park your car you're right next to other cars your car can get scratched. There's only about 10 parking spots in a very, very crowded parking lot. It's not worth it plus they will be in switch and start charging you more fees inbox me for questions. read more

Friendly and quick services! There are steps leading up to it though so keep that in mind for large or heavy packages (ramp is available)

UPS at 149 S Barrington 90049... my package bday there for two days because the impertinent owner would not take the time to read the address labels... even when he finally found the package tried to blame it on me... you didn't give me first name... I had multiple times impertinent DO NOT USE THIS OUTLET... prices exorbitant exceed FedEx by 10 fold read more

Best UPS store I've used in 5 states and particularly more friendly and efficient than most in Los Angeles

This is only the 2nd time I've come to this store (both during COVID). I have 4 items I wanted to ship with 3 of them being medium sized boxes. I wanted to get in early so I could be in and out as quickly as possible and return to work. Turns out the guy opening was having a bit of a slow morning and showed up a little late, but he was efficient at getting my items shipped out. I would HIGHLY recommend coming early so you can easily get a parking spot. I came yesterday with my boyfriend to ship these items, but we didn't realize they were closed for Mother's Day. The parking lot is really small and tight. If you are lucky enough to get a parking spot and trying to back out and leave is a whole other journey. When I got there is morning it was relatively empty and much easier to navigate in and out. read more

I was treated really nice by the 2 ladies that work there I had a 40 page legal document that had to be faxed after 2 attempts they scanned the document to an email address and it went through and if I had gone to staples it would have cost me 40 dollars at the minimum I highly recommend this store for their professionalism read more

I purchased a PO Box at this facility so that I could have my packages safely delivered. Wow, that was a mistake!!! Later had proof that only every other package was being delivered and they refused to help me track down the laws packages. When I told them that my packages weremissing, they only laughed at me. I didn't care so much about the money since itI could always be retrieved but these people who are responsible for taking care of other peoples packages were in fact participating in the missing packages. Even before my one year contract is over, I am going to have to start a new PO Box at a different location so that I don't have to worry about any more missing packages. read more

Beware of their pricing rates for shipping. They are twice as high as what UPS publishes online. Totally unresponsive to discuss the rates. The store owner never returns any calls. Avoid this location if you can or prepare to pay a lot. read more

Very kind. I would give them superior customer service and extremely helpful! They resolved an issue I was having and walked me through the process. One of the friendliest and honest businesses I have been to! read more

This place is always out of stamps! It's a shipping store!!! They should never be out!! When I asked clerk to ask manager to buy some she said "won't do any good". So there you have it: a manager to lazy to purchase stamps. This is not a person who is committed to UPS or their clientele. They are very understaffed as well. Was there a while only to find fax machine was jammed and girl was too busy to fix. So I stand here waiting for her to attend to others knowing I've been here waiting. She is very nice but should have help. DO NOT GO HERE read more

I used to love this store and the guys were pretty great and I would have all my parcels delivered there. I don't know what happened but the usual guys have disappeared and some new girl and guy are running the place The young girl was rude to me twice in the last week I don't know what happened to Customer service but it seems nonexistent these days After my asking her if there were any more packages she said " I just told you they weren't" The manager was standing there didn't even correct her to be more polite. I don't need my mornings to be ruined by an impolite assistant I'll be going elsewhere for my UPS purchases. read more

Somebody needs to teach this staff basic courtesy words like "hello" and "thank you " because they have attitude problem for no reason . Won't be back again read more

Jennifer and Christian are the most incredible employees / people. We had no choice but to come late after work, close to closing time and they were both so unbelievably kind to me and my friend. They were patient and helpful and ended up staying way past closing time to help us, which was so deeply appreciated. I hope their hard work and dedication is appreciated at work because I genuinely only want to come back to this location because of them! So grateful! read more

Awesome team! Fast and very professional. The young man with curly hair (i believe his name was Jay) helped me ship out a couple of items out of state. They wanted to charge $1.50 to print a return label. I would not use them again for being insensitive to their customers.

Super rude employees. No common courtesy and they have an attitude the second you walk in the door.

This is literally the only UPS store I've ever been to where the employees cared. I'm not sure how it's possible, but even the worst company can have a good chain. I know, because we used to have an AMAZING Subway restaurant near my high school when I grew up. I've been here to ship packages and to send faxes and they were great for both. Easy parking, kind and helpful people, super clean store. If this was a standard UPS, FedEx wouldn't exist. read more

I'm a fan of my neighborhood UPS store. They're my package portal to my second home--Amazon. There's usually no line. I say usually because there sometimes is that inevitable customer shipping who knows what to who knows where and wants to know every single combination and permutation of shipping options and have each option repeated several times over... and need I go on?! I'm mostly able to drop off my pre paid packages in a jiffy to the friendly people here. read more

Fine. Nothing special. They get the job done and they're better than the local USPS location

Great to have one in the neighborhood, and they give you $5 off for a yelp review! It's annoying to have to go to the post office all the time, which is super busy in Brentwood. This UPS store is clean and pretty quiet especially during the day. read more

Do not go here for the computer or printer. Came in to print a couple of documents - 20 minutes to load, download files...and fail. Only one workstation and it was a flop. Devon was so professional, nice and welcoming! She even allowed me to email her (own personal account), my Amazon return label to save me the trouble of using their computer to print the label. Octavia was a pleasure and helped me with my fax and mailings. Great and fast service. Parking was easy and get free validation.

I just recently moved to the area and have been working on decorating and furnishing my place. I've stopped by several times with some pretty big returns and Devon has always been the best! She's so friendly and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. I accidentally brought something that was for fedex and she still helped box and tape everything up for me. Amazing customer service by Devon! Thank you :) read more

This store is the worlds worst..led by their manager Arturo that could care less about customer service, returning phone calls, returning emails..They (ups) lost my package and they could care less about 1)trying to find it 2) paying the claim on the lost package 3) customer service.....I wouldnt use this Ups store if it was the last store left on the earth... There are not enough words in the english dictionary to describe how aweful they are to deal with... read more

By far, one of the best ups stores in the area. Free parking with validation for 20 min, which is all you really need to return packages through Amazon. The staff are always all to kind to wrap up my packages and label them for me with a smile. I've been to other ups stores that are a bit annoyed when you ask for this helped and reluctantly do so. This is my go-to ups store. read more
