All the KTown spots are a clusterF but here in Pico-Robertson, I can always get a spot. Plus, it's not a usual parking lot but just the diagonal style parking so just keeps things more organized and less stressful. The LA Parking struggle is real and this USPS makes it so much more chill. I have never had to wait in the line inside, but I do see it gets very long. I def think they prob need some more staff because the line waiters always seem exacerbated. They have an automatic self-service post machine which isn't ever busy, a drop box that isn't ever full, post boxes. It fulfills all my needs perfectly. USPS in Pico-Robertson off La Cienega = my go to drop off spot for packages!

This time, we came for passport services for our child & we were WALKING OUT before our actual appointment time. Came in 10-12 minutes before our appointment, we were greeted & walked right into the office. Ms. Ida (pronounced ee- da) was an absolute gem! She is hilarious & efficient. We had all our documents in order beforehand. Both parents have to be present along with the minor. I feel like if you come prepared, you'll be just fine. Expecting other adults to hold your hand through the process & getting frustrated at them for your lack of understanding is unfair. They are very kind & helpful but please understand you are not the only customer there. We paid via debit at the counter & Shiekh was also very pleasant. Overall 12/10 experience!

As a petite woman who's 5'2", this was a bit of a challenge, and I didn't even pull all the way into the teeny, tiny parking space because I didn't want to scrape the car on my left or the concrete pole on the right that I was wedged between. I raced to the doors right as they were about to lock them and caught my breath. One more guy made it behind me. The line was long and going all the way out into the lobby, and even though there were only 2 postal clerks behind the counter, the line was moving fast. The clerk who helped me was a friendly lady whose name I don't recall. She may have been wearing a name tag, but I forgot to check. She asked for my tracking number and ID, then went back to retrieve my package. She came out a moment later, I signed for it, then bid everyone goodnight and happy holidays. In and out in under 20 minutes! I was surprised at how patient and friendly both clerks appeared to be, considering the long, holiday line. I'm sure it will only get crazier and crazier leading up to Hanukkah and Christmas, so try to get there sooner than later, and give yourself ample time to beat the traffic and navigate their small ass parking lot. Don't be like me - I mean, "someone who isn't me" - driving in the bus lanes and speeding to get there! Happy holidays and happy new year!!

The process took long and it was pretty intricate, but she was patient calm kind and also helped other customers while I was still doing some preparation. She made me feel comfortable attended to and confident that things are gonna be fine with mailing off our passports. This is my new favorite PO location now thanks to her. The differentiators are usually if they have good parking options (the answer here is YES, a lot that you can usually snag a spot in but just make sure to exit at the stoplight instead of getting caught in the Grove's traffic's crosshairs) and the humans working there. Goooooooodness this post office disappoints on the staff. I see staff not respond to customers' as they ask questions while they chat to each other between the windows. I experience the same half the time, just no response. My friend went in to bring mail from a past resident & they just grabbed it and cut him off not letting him finish a sentence. The line gets sooooo long sometimes and I'm sure the crabby staff doesn't leave anyone feeling good about their experience here. The Post Office is open 930am-5pm every day but Sunday if you need teller assistance, but the lobby opens at 6am each day! And the good news is the self service kiosk and a drop box for packages both reside in that lobby. That's all I need 99% of the time I pop into the post office so lucky me. One day when I went the Drop Off Box was closed though so it can't always be counted on! The next day it was back open though so all was well in my world. I was so happy they fixed it so quickly. For dropping things off, this post office works well for me. However, It's weirdly the most unfriendly post office and that's such a shame if you need to interact with the staff.
