Came in 10-12 minutes before our appointment, we were greeted & walked right into the office. Ms. Ida (pronounced ee- da) was an absolute gem! She is hilarious & efficient. We had all our documents in order beforehand. Both parents have to be present along with the minor. I feel like if you come prepared, you'll be just fine. Expecting other adults to hold your hand through the process & getting frustrated at them for your lack of understanding is unfair. They are very kind & helpful but please understand you are not the only customer there. We paid via debit at the counter & Shiekh was also very pleasant. Overall 12/10 experience!

Priority Mail envelopes are often completely out of stock, along with other standard envelopes. They'll have some assorted boxes and Ground Advantage envelopes, but somehow not the basic supplies you would expect to be able to walk into a U.S. Post Office and purchase. I've personally watched customers have to leave because the branch doesn't have what they need, a system is down, tracking isn't available, or there's some other issue preventing them from completing a basic transaction. This is a large post office serving Culver City, and it's honestly a shame that it's so consistently unprepared and understaffed. Customers should be able to walk into their local USPS branch and reliably access basic USPS mailing supplies and services. This location needs better staffing, inventory management, and overall reliability.

The process took long and it was pretty intricate, but she was patient calm kind and also helped other customers while I was still doing some preparation. Even my regular mail carrier has acknowledged that this is highly unusual for my neighborhood. Situations like this are ruining the reputation of what has always been a safe and trustworthy community. The final straw was when two separate items were marked as delivered at the same time, but when I went to retrieve them, only one package was actually there. I reported everything to the supervisor, Christopher, but nothing was done. Instead, he simply insisted the missing package had been delivered--as if he had personally witnessed it. I never imagined I would have to write a review accusing a USPS location of such poor accountability, but here we are. I've never had a single package go missing with UPS, FedEx, or Amazon--only with this USPS location. If you have no choice but to use this post office, I strongly recommend insuring your packages and monitoring deliveries closely. It's disappointing to have lost confidence in a federal service that should be reliable and accountable. They have lost their values.

The bigger problem is the unreliable operating hours. I have gone there multiple times during the posted business hours and found the location closed. This past Friday, it was closed for the entire day. A post office that is supposed to serve the community should be open during its posted hours. Having only 1 employee may explain the staffing situation, but it does not make it acceptable for customers to repeatedly arrive during business hours and find the facility closed. This needs to be addressed. USPS should ensure that this location is properly staffed and operating consistently during its advertised hours. Customers should not have to waste trips trying to figure out whether the US post office will actually be open.
