First of all I'm big on USPS, but this experience made me want them to go out of business. I came to pick up a package that was intercepted. Right away I was turned away that it wasn't there I had spoken to an agent before and she WAS helpful and said my package was HERE just for the person in the front to say it's not. I told her it said it was here but she should know better right? WRONGGGG I drove to the other location just to find out my package was and has always been here. So not only did I waste my time but gas, like very unnecessary and rude to just be dismissed not even customer service to check and confirm before sending me elsewhere. Upon my return she has the audacity to act like it's my fault, I heard what she was telling the other agent while she went to grab her. Why couldn't she admit she was wrong but no, still had an attitude and was acting all nice to others. There are long lines sometimes but this is a good location for quick drop off of letters or packages. One bin is for letters and documents and another one is for parcels only. Don't get it mixed up. There is metered parking nearby. read more

I had to ship something to a friend of mine overseas and I went to USPS because it was the cheapest option and that's it. I figured I would get what I pay for and have to wait in a long line with staff who could care less about things being done right. The line was a little long and I thought my assumptions were correct. I was wrong though because the hold up was Denise making sure everything was correct with all the packages being sent out. When it was my turn she gave me the correct forms, highlighted what needed to be filled out and let me come back to the head of the line once I finished. She looked over my docs and made sure things were in order and sent things out-and even helped me determine how much insurance I should pay for. 5 stars for a post office, weirdly surprising! read more

Bare minimum service today. I had 30 flat rate boxes to send and they only had two people on duty and were unable to accommodate. There are NO SIGNS saying that you can only ship 5 flat rate boxes at a time. I've never had a problem with them until today where they dropped the ball. I'm headed to the airport post office (90009) to ship. I was only able to ship 5 boxes and they wouldn't let me get back in line. POST THE SIGNS. I was reading the reviews to this post office as I was waiting for it to open. I was a bit surprised they were so bad, as I had been in a few times and never had a bad experience. Went in today to mail something Internationally, which I rarely do, so I wasn't sure exactly what I needed. I had my package ready with the address and brought it to the window. Erica helped me and as soon as she saw it was International, she let me know I had to fill out a customs form. She got the form for me and let me know which areas to fill out and that there were pens available at the table. I filled it out, came back and she rang me up. Erica was very kind and helpful. I was a bit worried that it would be a hassle since it was International and I didn't know what was needed, but Erica made it easy and I was out of there within 5 minutes! I think a lot of these reviews are people blaming the employees for the wreck that Dejoy has made of the post office. But the individual working there cannot be blamed for that and do not deserve to be treated as disrespectfully as I have read in some of these reviews. read more

I had to send a letter that needed a signature and had a lovely experience with Denise. Who was a package of sunshine herself. There's so much happening so much USPS employees are going through right now and you would have never guessed it with how incredible she was. Gosh, USPS. The elephant in the room is that, well, the elephant is undergoing a slow death. Maybe so, but visiting the USPS should be at least a tolerable experience. It ranks about there. On a recent afternoon visit, there was one, count 'em one clerk at the window. Maybe five people in line. But things can build up quickly, especially since those in line generally have something relatively complicated (retrieving a package; sending something Certified, etc). It's 14 days before Christmas and 4:40 PM. They had three customer service windows open - AND their "force multiplier" in the lobby..."KATHLEEN!" She's a bossy grandmother that keeps the long line moving, keeps people on track and provides some entertainment! She had pens, tape, labels and things. KATHLEEN was able to pull about one-third of the people out of line, help them drop off and get out without going to the window. This is the way the post office should run when it's busy! A younger Kathleen would have been a drill sergeant! Good job today post office people - everyone was polite, helpful and friendly! read more

Wooowww i just had the absolute worst experience with these people! Erica is a total nightmare. Outside of just proper customer service she is an outright discrase of a human being. I even asked her to please be kind for a moment and why she was literally lashing out at me for no reason. I have a service dog (with paper work) who is a 4lb maltese. She flipped out about that and kept yelling I wont service you with that dog in here unless it's a seeing eye. Excuse me? What an ignorant and prejudicial thing to say. These people have clearly no harassment training or what is legal in terms of the needs of the disabled. Service dogs provide life saving services outside of "seeing eye" and what these two women displayed today was outright illegal. For sake of arguing with this clearly miserable shell of a woman, my bf left with him outside. Then she threw the package at me to work with "Erica" and said I'm not serviceing you with that dog in here... whom at this point is literally outside. I said, ok, listen- I've had the worst day, please be kind I just need my receipt please for this package I've already paid for. Went to drop off a letter today that I needed expedited I walked up to one of the tellers ( don't know her name but was a younger black lady) she was immediately so irritated. I asked her which envelope I would need and she pointed to the counter behind me and didn't say anything and so I went and put my envelope in the expedited envelope and closed it by mistake without remembering my sending address. So I ripped it open and got a new expedite envelope. while I was copying the addresses down the teller left her stand from behind the glass and came out into the lobby of the post office and stood in front of me so close I could smell the lunch she ate coming out of her mouth like hot exhaust "your just going to leave this right here?!??" She grabbed the expedite envelope that I tore and She said With a stank attitude then rolled her eyes. I said "what's with the attitude, I was going to throw that away after I was done writing" she walked away snorting and a hollered at her "I don't want to be doing errands just as much as you don't want to be working here..." This isn't the first time she's been so unpleasant, one of my family members also went here and had an awful experience. I didn't believe how intense this lady was until I got a taste of it myself. It was first experience at this particular USPS. Customer service was beyond awful. I asked the lady at the window to explain me what box I need to purchase to send my parcels, since it was my first time shipping through USPS. In response, I got a very mean attitude and ambiguous response. When I asked my friend to check with her if I took the right box, she literally pointed at me and said : "I already explained to her everything". As a person , who works with people, her behavior was very unprofessional and unacceptable.
