Lazy employees; unprofessional, and no one was interested in offering customer service.

Lately some of this employees are getting too lazy and don't like to be bothered. At times there is only one clerk at the front counter with a long line. Their attitude has changed for the worse. Feels like they are doing you a favor and forget that you are paying for a service. They forget thanks to their customers they have a salary and benefits. I've been trying to use UPS as much as I can instead, USPS can go ahead and bankrupt. Used to be my favorite office to go to. read more

They only had two person working the counter. Happily I came early before too many people came in. I was able to come in and out. The staff was very nice. Do not use this PO if plan to drop off stuff in the back. They do not scan all their items. I sell stuff on Poshmark and lost out on the money on a few orders because it was not scanned. If it does not scan, Poshmark does not treat it as shipped. read more

With each passing year this post office and its staff become more complacent. They are unable to follow their own 1st grade reading level "mail hold" instructions. Not sure which location I am reviewing for (sorry) but I have recently been to the one near Fort Hamer Rd & 301 and the one off of SR 70 & Lockwood Ridge Rd. Both were very good and quick, even when only one person was working. I usually go on week day mornings- early afternoon. I have had a few small packages sent for less than $10 (way cheaper than the UPS store!!) and they had a lot of options of pretty stamp books -set of 16 or 20- to choose from. read more

Poor customer service. Don't integrate customers about changing their address. You don't know their circumstances.

Other than the occasional delusional customer, the service here has been fantastic. Iv always been treated with dignity and respect.

This rating is for the customers. Is this post office slow? Yes. Are they criminally understaffed? Yes. Are the employees ever a bit brusque? Yes. But sometimes the reason the lines are so damn long and the place feels so hostile is because many of the customers do not share one braincell between them. I have never seen so many surly, unprepared, entitled, and just plain dumb people in my life. I've seen the staff screamed at because: - The customer handed over a violin, with an address label taped to the case, and couldn't understand what the problem was. - The customer threw a bunch of weirdly shaped stuff in a flimsy Hefty trash bag, tied the handles, and demanded to mail it. - Customers constantly trying to send a return to Amazon with a UPS label on it and refusing to believe when they are told the post office is not UPS. - Many customers hand over their envelopes with no address on them. They are all shocked and angry to be told "No" when they pull up the address on their phone, hold it up to glass, and demand the employee addresses their envelopes for them. - Even more customers at the window with things like large lamps or giant framed posters. When they're told they need to box it, they demand free boxes, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, scissors, a marker, tape, etc. as if life is preschool and there is always a teacher passing out free art supplies. I've had to go to this post office least once a week for years. I dread it. I'm here in a long line writing this review right now. But as awful as it is, I can't give the employees a completely bad review. I see almost all of them working here six days a week. It can be slow when they need to spend ten minutes with each person teaching them to use logic and basic life skills. I don't know how they stand it. Even after spending 15 minutes here I literally hate humanity. At this point I wouldn't surprised to see one of these customers put a stamp on a baby's forehead and scream at the employees for not taking it. read more

Post Office clerk KIM is one of the rudest most UNPROFESSIONAL postal workers I've ever encountered. I gave this woman a pass tge first time and didn't report her when she Insisted that I, a VERY GROWN and highly educated woman, created an international shipping label with an incorrect weight so that I could pay less for shipping LOL .I asked her why she thought what was an error, was intentional. Her answer was, someone before me had come in with an incorrect shipping label weight as well. Encounters after that with her were just the stereotypical angry woman with an attitude post office worker. However today was the last straw.. I approached her window asking if they will be closing at 3:30 or 4:00, her response was said in an abrupt way ..we're closing NOW.! I asked if It was OK to write the name and address on the box that I was shipping priority mail or should a special label be used, her response with a FROWN on her face was.....and I hope you're reading this supervisor because the next call will be above you on Monday, and above that next person if need be....this federal government employee's response to a customer was " Do whatever you want to do"...and she walked away. Not a yes, not a no , not a either way will be fine, or I'll be right with you I'm with someone else, or let me see what you're wanting to do...this clerks exact words to me were .... " do whatever you want to do" and then she walked away. Unbelievable. This always angry , and clearly unhappy woman, gives the post office a bad name and, to be honest, she fits the angry woman stereotype to a T. Hopefully she will experience some joy in her life so she doesn't take her unhappiness and anger into the work place. This post office apparently hires workers who couldn't cut it at the DMV. Ms. Campbell (short, African-American with straightened orange hair) is the worst. Condescending, cuts you off and spends most of her time lecturing you about how hard her life is even when there is a line out the door. The manager, Ms. Moseley, is very nice and understanding, but she probably can't do anything about Ms. Campbell due to union rules. The place feels like a Jordanian refugee camps and operates like one, too. Lost my package without a trace. It's been more than 3 weeks now. If you have to go here, say the serenity prayer before entering and pray Ms. Campbell is not there. read more

Worst post office ever. Walk in and the workers give u attitude upon attitude. My package was lost from this location and they won't help me locate it or nothing. If you want decent service go to another location, all the workers here act like someone owes them something...bunch of under educated idiots work here. We met a rude and stingy customer service lady who neither helped us tape the labels onto the box nor had us borrowed it. She is blonde hair and looks older than 50s and chunky. She started being anal on my shipping label codes and made it even harder. At last, she even said, "we need to tape it ourselves. They don't provide such service." Gosh!! I have been here multiple times for the same shipments. She is the only one who doesn't assist us with taping. Plus our 3 boxes are medium size and heavy and are hard to carry back and forth. She is the one who makes things so difficult. I have to say if you know who I am talking bout, she is the service that is being lazy, picky, and stingy without providing this kind of additional service for us. I only need help with TAPING my label and not printing it. If she can't do this such service, at least having their customers to borrow their tape. Luckily, a guy from the service center came out to provide us a tape. I have to say next time when I get the service from this lady, I will definitely skip it. I give them 3 stars is because I still like the rest of other services. Seriously it's not easy to find a good customer service in Los Angeles. This is such a ghetto location. Staff will close it any time regardless of posted hours. Parking lot is also a nightmare.

Worst post office in the area because it is chronically understaffed. The staff itself is put in a deplorable position, for which I deeply regret. Nonetheless, they are poised and polite. It's not their fault. Excruciatingly slow. Worse is that they sent some straight-laced Indian dude to the office who is tasked with pacifying disgruntled patrons instead of getting more staff to man the unoccupied windows. They will stop delivering mail, leave no notice, and make no effort to fix the problem and resume mail service. Apparently my neighbor had left their dog (chihuahua) out so they stopped delivering my mail. Didn't tell me why... didn't tell the neighbor how we could amend this they just ... stopped. I went in SEVERAL times to see how we could amend this (and to pick up my mail.) the lady would tell me there is no mail and I would go home. ONE day, I asked to speak to a manager (after the lady had already told me I didn't have any new mail) and the MANAGER went to go look for my mail and was magically able to find it. Nobody wants to do their job here, when they actually DO their jobs, they are slow paced and have a bad attitude. And I'm writing this because I'm dreading the fact that I have to go in to the post office again today... see they EVENTUALLY fixed my problem and resumed mail service.. but I haven't received mail I've been expecting for a couple weeks so I'm going to check the post office to see if they are holding it (even though I didn't receive any notice) wish me luck! Too bad I didn't get her name, but I was served by the most sincere USPS worker I've ever met. She was a Black lady who was so eager to assist me with all my requests. She was so enthusiastic and kind despite my confusing requests for self-addressed Express mail yadayada. This amazing woman made my day! PARKING: No problem parking - huge lot for the plaza LINES: when I got there, there was no line - but I had to fill out some forms. When I went back in line there were 3 people ahead of me and another kind USPS worker came to speed up the line; line moves fast. Front of the house reps were very nice, the ladies get 5 Stars. The one star is for you possibly receiving any package that might get routed here because you missed it at your home. GOOD LUCK. This is the second time we're back hoping to get our package that we missed yesterday. The kicker is that now, the online tracking info says that it was picked up yesterday, meanwhile we still have the delivery tag so what happened?? Now we're here so far for 45 minutes along with others just standing here waiting in a similar predicament. Update: So apparently, even though we received a Delivery Attempt tag saying that we can pick up our package the following day after 9am, the Mailman still had the package and tried to deliver it but yet, NEVER LEFT another RE-ATTEMPTED DELIVERY TAG....and yet STILL HAD THE PACKAGE TODAY! All so very confusing! THIS FACILITY NEEDS A RE-HAUL on procedural practices. You need to get organized and find out why packages are getting lost and why packages are marked received/delivered when they clearly ARE NOT. Maybe it's the Mail Man....Clearly he needs to be re-trained in the proper way to handle package deliveries. Also, we see him just throwing the packages over our complex's fence instead of walking 10 feet to put it in front of our neighbors door. There are no stairs involved. Just pure LAZINESS. I use to live in West Hollywood and I lived in the rear, on the second floor, of this complex. That mail person always dropped everyone's packages on their respective doorsteps...I believe my USPS Station was Cherokee Hollywood station. They were great. I have had good service in the office, but the mail delivery service has issues..... Over the course of the last three years, I have had to ask the carrier numerous times and complain to supervisors about the carriers failing to close the security door to what is supposed to be security building. When I called yesterday, the supervisor said, "there must be something wrong with the door", trying to excuse the laziness of the carrier. As I had just closed the door after the carrier left, I assured her that there wasn't any issue but the carrier and then she said she'd deal with the carrier. Is there a rule that all post offices have ridiculously long lines? I only remember one or two customer service windows ever being open in this place. There was a very long line as usual today and someone came in making a stink that he didn't want to wait to just buy stamps. The lady monitoring the line then told everyone in line that if they were ONLY buying stamps without needing to weigh their envelopes, then they could go to window 3. Well window 5 was the only other window open and operations seemed to be at a standstill there. A few people got into the window 3 line and surprise...the clerk was weighing envelopes for them (after I was told that I couldn't stand there because I needed my envelope weighed). Another woman then bought money orders from window 3! The clerk did not reprimand her and just let this person cut in front of everyone. Why didn't she tell the customer to get back in line since she was not just buying stamps? Fifteen minutes of these shenanigans go by and window 5 STILL hasn't taken a new person. I speak up and say "No more 'just stamps'! We've all been waiting here too long and those people are not just buying stamps!!!" I stood in line for forty minutes. There was also an elderly gentleman standing in the back, behind the clerks, not doing a single thing. When an angry customer asked if he was the supervisor, the man completely ignored the customer! No wonder there is protective glass in front of the clerks!!! read more

Read the reviews regarding this post office. Our mail doesn't even get delivered if our carrier misses a day. Our magazines and mail get stolen. Dropped off two prepaid packages and only one got scanned, the other is missing. Tried to phone to find out what happened, Mushmouth "dint know", "not all packages get scanned". WTF!? Is it hard to scan and then drop a package off in the bin. Every one of these miserable employees HATES their job. USPS is going down like the sinking ship that it is. Even though I live in Koreatown, I drive to this post office, because it's SOOOO much better. The one in Ktown (sanford) is TERRIBLE, and this one is in a strip mall, so there's always tons of parking. Sometimes it can be busy, especially if there's only one person working or it's near closing time, but the staff are so friendly that you can't even be mad about the wait. Shipping and picking up packages here is a breeze, they're super helpful if you have questions, and they always have all the supplies you need. Even when you have a problem and call them on the phone, they're more than happy to drop everything and help you out, even if it involves something at another post office. It'll actually be sad to have to move and go to another post office, because this one is great. read more
