My ex landlords daughter asked the Staff to hold my mail, so she can go through it first. She created a file under her name and my mail is going in there. Vo said she wouldn't check to see if it's in there. My mail is still being opened and resealed. This may be happening to you too. It didn't help that all other customers, including me, were people of color and this woman was Caucasian. One example was when I asked, "Could I add tracking to this package?" and she snapped back, "What do you think this is?" I also overheard this exchange between a different customer service rep and a customer next to me: "Where is this package going?" "To China." "Of COURSE it is." It's a sunny 77 degrees on a Saturday afternoon and you're supposed to be providing customer service. This simple trip to the post office left me with such a negative feeling because of the interactions I experienced in 15 minutes--condescending, aggressive, with racial undertones. Not fun.

Recently, I've noticed what seems to be new staff, or maybe just people I hadn't met before and they've been incredibly friendly and helpful! One great tip: if you need to print a label but don't have a printer at home, just email it to yourself. When you arrive at this location, they'll provide you with their email address so you can forward the label to them and print it there. It's a simple and smooth process, and they're happy to guide you if you need any assistance. Based on my experiences, everything here has gone smoothly. Also there are plenty of parking nearby so it is not an issue.

Typically, there isn't a line and I go in there, quickly drop off my return and I'm on my way. 10 seconds! Done and done. Unfortunately, my experience today did not reflect their usual quickness. There was a very long line, which couldn't be helped because of what the items were that were being shipped by the customers at the registers. After 10 minutes, it was finally my turn. I had a simple return with a QR code. And I had elected the "no pack no label" option. Which means the UPS store packs and labels your shipment. Unfortunately, the employee didn't seem to know what he was doing. And after waiting 10 minutes, it was annoying to say the least. First, he told me that the QR code had already been used. Of course it had not. So I told him to try it again. Of course, when he scanned it the second time he realized it had indeed, not been used. Then he said sorry we can't ship this because you haven't packaged it! What the hell? I told him it literally says on the QR code that I don't have to pack it....(Que the eye roll). He didn't know what to do until the employee next to him told him that I was right! That they had to pack it and label it, per the instructions related to that QR code. The employee handling my shipment return was just totally confused and after waiting 10 minutes, I didn't really have the luxury of time for his confusion. It was very inconvenient. Not only for me, but for the other people standing in line. What is usually a quick 30 second turnaround, turned into five minutes of an employee who was unaware of protocol with certain returns. The problem here is if the well-versed employee had not been there to assist the confused employee handling my return, I would've had to leave and go to another location to process my return. And often times there is only one employee at this location. So if I walk into this location the next time and I see this particular employee at the register, with no other employees there, I'm going to walk out and go to a different UPS store to avoid issues.

I only discovered this business because I did a search for mail centers that handled international DHL deliveries. The business is very cute, great parking, chairs so that you dont have to stand if you need to wait, they even have a great complimentary coffee bar. Paul and Sheri were both wonderful. Sheri acknowledged me right away, gave a friendly smile and made sure I was we were helped in the order we arrived. Paul was kind, hard working and very detail oriented, wanting to make sure he got my ship-to address exactly right. Even the customers were friendly! There was not a long line, my shipment just happened to require more time because it was being sent internationally. It really is a great location and had small town mail center vibes. I'm sure customers love that they are dog friendly...which i know is a big plus. Honestly, for those that are slightly allergic like myself (the rare few)....that wasnt my favorite but all around I give them an A+.
