It's like when you go to the bank at noon, no surprise that others had the same bright idea. I was pleasantly surprised that the line moved quickly and efficiently. The gentleman who helped me was friendly, even asked if I needed to buy any stamps! Since when does the post office have good customer service? Now if the DMV could get some people skills, pigs will truly fly.

I've been here a few times before and it sucked, but I'm willing to put up with quite a bit. Today's experienced ensured I'll never return. I needed to mail two things and didn't have envelopes large enough for them at home. Because they're out of most everything, I made due with what I could find. They also only had two ball point pens available, but most of the envelopes in stock were the ones that required a sharpie. None in sight. So I get in line, planning to ask the ONE employee to borrow their sharpie at the window to jot down the address as I check out. He takes forever, we might as well have been serviced by a sloth. I finally get to the front after nearly 30 minutes and ask for the pen and he tells me I can leave and get back in line when I'm ready. The line is now nearly to the door. It'll take 5 seconds for me to write the address, he's taken his sweet time with EVERY OTHER CUSTOMER, but now he's in a rush (if thats what it could be called). I took his sharpie, I put it in the cup holder next to the line for the next poor soul and I left. This particular post office would do better to accept its fate and just fade away into the ether than subject anyone else to this "service". Just by the look of the place you can tell without a doubt they stopped caring ages ago.

From start to finish, the entire process was quick, smooth, and completely stress-free. A special thank you to Brandy for providing such extraordinary customer service! She was friendly, professional, and made the entire process feel effortless. She answered all of our questions and made what I expected to be a stressful appointment an absolute breeze. Thank you, Brandy, for making this such a positive experience. Great customer service like yours truly makes a difference!

First she told me to make my money…read moreorders out to UPS instead of USPS . ‍ Then, after I had already filled out my money orders, she said she actually couldn't use one of them. She said I can just take it back to where I bought it and ask for a refund but the fine print on the money order said otherwise. We were going back and forth about it and then I looked it up online and as I was explaining it her, she walked away to ask her peer for clarification. (So rude!) When I looked it up online, it said I could get a refund on an unused money order that has already been filled out but there would be a fee (Western Union). I told the cashier I could refund it but I could not have to pay even more fees due to her administrative error. Horrible service!

On 05/18/2026 around 2:30 p.m., a young man (unfortunately I did not catch his name) helped me submit and mail my passport renewal paperwork. I was already feeling extremely overwhelmed due to personal circumstances, and he remained calm, patient, reassuring, and professional throughout the entire interaction. Unfortunately, the employee next to him, a woman with colored braids and eyeglasses, was dismissive and rude toward me. Despite the young man already informing me he could assist me, she repeatedly tried to discourage me from mailing my paperwork there and told me I should go to another USPS location instead. Her approach added unnecessary stress during an already difficult moment. What stood out to me most, however, was how quickly the young man stepped in after overhearing the interaction. He immediately reassured me and took the initiative to help without hesitation. As someone who works in customer service myself, I know how much one employee can impact a customer's entire experience. One person can make someone feel unwelcome, while another can completely restore their faith in humanity. This employee deserves recognition for the way he treated me with kindness, professionalism, and respect. Employees like him are the reason customers continue returning and trusting USPS services.

When she's done, she scribbles over her notes leaves room for the next set of notes. I thought that was very mindful and thoughtful. Not wasting any of the companies materials. I pointed it out to her and she told me this herself. "I don't wanna waste paper" I applaud you, Monique. I hope they know you are a great employee and that you are extremely trustworthy.
