Stan is very nice man. So are the other employees. I drop off all of my pre paid and posted packages here. They do not scan however I have never had a package that I dropped here not get to it's destination. If you worry about that you can always go to the Lancaster post office there on 20th and J. Stan always tries to find the best way for your mail to go timing wise and money wise. Very nice post office! Very convenient. read more

I loved this post office when we first moved here, but it's gone downhill over the last few years. The clerks are rude, they will hang up on you, argue with you, or just outright snub you. I constantly feel belittled when I have to speak to these people and much prefer to drive across town to take care of my postal needs. I had an issue with their terminal rejecting my card and charging it anyway--but they said it wasn't an issue on their end and we're no help in resolving it. read more

I delivered a package here and now a week later still no tracking info updates don't go here go on 20th street so things can be properly scanned read more

Waited on hold for 10 mins for rude cutomer service and to be brushed off rudely on saturda 7/18/20. Guy who picked up the ohone after holding was polite vut the lady who put ne on hold who sounded like the supervisor qas the rude one ajd im pretry sure she lied to me avout sone of the information she gave me just to get me off the phone. read more

AVOID at all costs! This is the SECOND time that something I mailed from this post office was lost. Tracking shows that it reached the Lancaster facility 3 days after I mailed it from this post office (on the 1st) and hasn't gone anywhere since. I should have known better..since the first time they lost a certified legal document. Never again! read more

The woman that helped me today was ridiculously nice. I, along, with everyone that was in the short line was greeted warmly. She also patiently explained different options of mailing a package to the individual in front of me without sounding like she was mentally stabbing her in the face. Seriously, it was like this lady had a bowl of sunshine and hugs for breakfast. She was so nice! She also sealed up my package since I had my hands full with a squirmy baby. I love that I didn't feel like a number at this post office. They provide notary services as well. There's easy curbside parking off to the side that's 20 minute limit so you're usually guaranteed a close spot. read more

Younger guy who "helped" me was super rude. I was shipping a package to my brother stationed over seas, explained I didn't know how the address needed to be filled out and that I've never shipped OS before; and he just handed me the slip and offered no help, then huffed and puffed when I filled out what I could and asked about the remainder. Also never received the tracking info for my package so just overall bad experience. Definitely trying another local post office next time read more

I have been going to the Quartz Hill post office for many, many years. I am not a business owner so I don't go there as often as some people. I have always been treated with respect, got through the line( if there was one), pretty darn quickly. Where I have been met with 10 people in line at the Lancaster Post office I think the biggest line I have had at QH is 4 people, even around the holidays!! I cannot believe some of these horrible reviews, it makes me wonder are these just difficult people to please in the first place? Recently there have been some younger people working there I think there is a learning curve with them in customer service. So I am thinking maybe that might be where they can work on greeting people when they walk in, assisting them more with forms and so on. I pretty much only use QH post office! BTW they do have boxes you can use. read more

Awful experience here. The mail clerk was rude and overcomplicated what should have been a simple drop off. Honestly I would rather drive way out of my way to avoid this post office. read more

Came in to make send off a return and I hit the jackpot !! No line and great service ! They helped me find the cheapest and safest way to return the Garbage product and Not get scammed all while being very friendly and entertaining !!! The service here was soooooo different than in North hollywood here they def had the small town I know my neighbor feel and I love it ! read more

How is this post office still in business? This office HAS TO BE the worst when it comes to customer service. Absolutely abhorrent. Incredibly rude. If I could give it a 0 I would. In fact I'd give the office a -1 if possible. read more

I would rather go here than go to any other post office. Funny reading other's take on what is an essential piece of our town. The workers are always friendly... as are almost everyone else I've encountered in line. I've always found them knowledgeable and helpful. So very much more convenient than driving 15 minutes away and waiting in line for another 15 minutes... I'm usually done and out in under 5 minutes and that's 8 years running. I saw some pretty awful reviews when I checked to see the hours and felt I had to shout out my praise! read more

Super friendly & courteous staff (unlike some "other" establishments in the valley). Thx y'all!

Very rude employees. I avoid this post office as much as possible. They have zero customer service skills. There is limited parking.

Extremely rude employees. Either they are not properly trained or they just don't care and will charge you for everything -- even a piece of tape! Good thing they don't have a restroom, they would charge you to use it and charge for the toilet paper too! If you have a package where you printed the postage at home, they are even more rude. Guess they must not make money off of those packages because they are a contracted office. Notary service is a joke. Notary told me she could not notarize the document because it was not complete. Document was complete and I am a notary and understand this. As a notary you are required to do the following: "A Notary Public or other officer completing this certificate verifies only the identity of the individual who signed the document to which this certificate is attached, and not the truthfulness, accuracy, or validity of that document." Stood in line and wasted my time for this. Drove over to Mail-N-More on Rancho Vista and got notarized in minutes. The Antelope Valley is large enough now to have a REAL post office on the west side of Palmdale. This place is worse than a post office box shop -- at least they appreciate your business there. Their notaries should go back to training as they are not lawyers, just need to verify identities and signatures. read more

Nickel and dime you. Private contractors, so charge like a Mail Store. Asked if I wanted a little extra tape, thought it was an offer so I said sure, literally 2". Checked bill as I was walking out and he had charged $2 for 2 inches of tape. I just make the extra effort and go to the sole remaining true P.O. Still pay too much in my opinion but they don't pull cheesy crap like that. It would seem illegal for a Gov contractor, may call OIG. read more

I find that if you come to this office prepared, they work through the line quickly and the employees are well trained and efficient. They also freely give you advice on the cheapest ways to mail your packages, too. The Palmdale post office and the Lancaster post office have long lines. At the Palmdale office, I'm treated like a serf and as if they are doing me a favor to mail my packages. But at this post office they treat you like a valued customer. read more

Aside from the limited parking and it being a small post office this place is awesome. Every time I've been here the person behind the counter has saved me money on postage by finding a better way for me to ship whatever it is I'm sending. They do their best to get you in and out of there as quickly as possible and they extremely polite and helpful. The only time I avoid this place is at Christmas but then again I try to avoid all post offices around Christmas read more

Very rude employees trying to get as much money as they can squeeze out of you. I got charged 50 cents for a small strip of clear regular tape.. I walked in once no one was I there and I heard two female employees talking badly about a previous customer saying he was ridiculous and stupid for trying to get something shipped there that he had to take to ups and did not know. I wish this wasn't the closest post office to me it's a shame I hate going there. read more

Perhaps the worst post office ever or maybe just a reflection of our country's policies I brought a piece of mail that needs to go in a PO Box at that location they said they couldn't mail it to that location even though I was standing in the location with the envelope they charged me $.65 to mail the envelope to the location that I was standing in what a piece of garbage system we have if we can't get the mail correct how can we get anything else right would give zero stars if you give me the option read more

The female employee was incredibly rude. I actually left and told them "Nevermind, I'll just go to the other post office." I will be contacting Ray Bryant, the Postmaster, phone number 661-948-7251 and filing an official complaint. read more

The only reason I keep coming back to this location is because it is closer to home. I agree with the previous reviews. The husband & wife tandem has the worst customer service. I guess the only edge they have is that they don't have competition here in Quartz Hill. read more

Worst post office EVER... Slow as hell. I would've been better off driving a little further to another one. And they didn't have the forms I need read more

Love having this small town vibe place where I am treated like a neighbor and always taken care of. I way prefer going here to driving to the main post office. They go the extra mile for you! read more

Went to the post office today and had the rudest service. They tried to overcharge me on a single envelope which was outrageous. On the way out the "OLD" lady and her "PARTNER" were still making comments because I refused to send my letter. I will never go to this place again and if it closed down it would be no harm to no one. Would never recommend this place to anyone, read more

The employees are nice, however, they refused to take a package of mine that they said couldn't be mailed through the USPS, despite having a letter from the postmaster general that said it was ok. I had to go to the Lancaster office, who took the package no problem. They informed me that the Quartz Hill office is a satellite office, and they don't always know what they're talking about. If you have simple transactions, you'll be fine, but anything a bit more complicated.....you'd be better off going to the Lancaster mail office. read more

Lots of reviews about rude employees... I find them pretty "down home country nice" but I just went there today... place was packed, doors were closed, ( Covid? ) owner asked his wife out loud to count how many people because 10 was the limit... she came out and with her finger counted out loud 11 people... he then said "oh, this one is about done , were OK" a few people laughed... I then counted the people myself... 17 people plus 3-4 employees... Then some guy coughed... that was it, I left... Last time I came here place had 3 people in there and owner wasn't even wearing a mask behind counter serving guy in front of me... he did finally put on his mask when serving me... Its very obvious this place does not take this Pandemic seriously, so if you believe this Covid-19 is nothing more then the flu... this is your kind of people, you will feel nice an comfortable... I unfortunately will not be going back. read more

I love this little post office. I've been using it for 30 years and they are always the friendliest most helpful souls you will find anywhere. They have lots of boxes and envelopes and will transfer your package to one of theirs if they think it will go better that way. They always give you all the options - cheapest, fastest way, etc. Wish all businesses were this user friendly!! read more

This is the worst post office ever. They ladies are so incredibly rude. And they refuse to scan your prepaid packages, no matter how long you wait in their very slow line. I always leave vowing never to go back. I need to take my own advice. read more

Called to find out why my registered mail tracking number said "no record" the day after I gave it to them at the Quartz Hill post office. The person who answered the phone said she couldn't help me at that time. "They were too busy." And, to call back in 10 minutes. I did that several times and got repeated busy signals. Did they take the phone off the hook? Not a great experience . . . read more

I have never had such great and friendly service from the post office before. The lovely ladies are very knowledgeable and friendly smiles all around. If you have the choice come here! :) read more

The Quartz Hill Post Office advertises that they "do all postal services for the same price as the federally owned post offices" The lie being in the word "all". The Quartz Hill Post Office is a contract Post Office and offers substantially fewer services than a federally owned post office does. It is particularly unfriendly towards e-commerce. Boxed up all your sales at home? Weighed the packages and printed out the postage? Think you are going to just drop them off and be on your merry way? NOPE! No matter how many people are in line you must stand there and wait your turn. There is no mail slot equipped to handle packages, no dropping off of packages at the counter, no collection bin in the lobby. But wait! It gets even better! As a smart seller you are going to want to wait in line anyways to get an acceptance scan. NOPE! This "Post Office" will not do that for you. They have the technology and they have scanned items with their handheld for me in the past, but they no longer offer this service which leaves the seller with no proof that the package was actually mailed. But wait! There's more!! Let us suppose you sell an item and want to ship it to insert country internationally via Priority Mail Express International. You purchase the postage online and take your package in to get your guaranteed delivery date (a big part of what you paid for) NOPE! They will accept the package here but you can forget all about getting that guaranteed delivery date (let alone having it scanned). I could go on, but you get the point. The only thing that differentiates this place from the mailbox rental/shipping centers you see in every strip mall all across the country is that they sell postage at face value. Beyond that this really isn't a Post Office. read more

I went to drop off pre posted and paid package. Lady said I had to get in line, Behind 10 other people! Walked by everyone and the just shook their heads.Thankfully lady in front of line said I will hand it to them. Thank You wonderful person. read more

Are these people kidding???? I have NEVER had a problem in this office! Most of the time there is NO LINE and those girls in there are always as nice and helpful as can be! They always help me save money by recommending the right size boxes or envelopes. My goodness! Everyone has a "bad day", maybe that was when these people came in! I would recommend THIS Post Office to everybody! read more

I have to say that the people who work here are unbelievably rude. I've never encountered this kind of poor customer service at any other post office, even actually busy ones. Do yourself a favor and drive into town and wait in line. You will thank me later. read more

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID - RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! :(( If you like to wait in long lines while unknowledgeable clerks move at a snail's pace and cast condescending glares your way, then this is the place for you! Look no further, for you have stumbled upon a massive black hole of customer service. One can easily observe that a rudeness of crushing gravity, and hefty proportions, emanates from the top down at this "contract" post office. The proprietors proudly display their family-ness in the portrait hanging above the counter, but treat their paying customers worse than a red-headed stepchild. You have only to browse the other reviews to know that the perspective presented here is in plentiful and credible company. You are 100% guaranteed to have a better day by keeping away from the witches inside, and providing your patronage to literally ANY OTHER POSTAL BUSINESS. You'll be so glad that you did :) read more
