I can tell the Post Office is busy because the parking lot is full. Upon entering, there is a line but it went well. It didn't take forever to reach the counter. The employee named Crystal is accommodating. She asked what I needed and gave me prices. I am mailing important documents out of state and I wanted it to be certified. I mailed out important paperwork in a yellow envelope on December 27 2025 with the correct amount of stamps with my return and recipient address to Victorville. My recipient never received the envelope as of today and I never received a returned mail. This never happened to me ever in life while receiving and delivering mail or packages at any other post office. It's 10 days before Christmas and there was a line in the lobby. Moved quickly, the 3 ladies at the desk were personable with everyone they helped and a man came out to assist with expediting. The service was courteous, they knew what they were doing. Efficient and respectful.. and unlike the smaller US Post Office on 50th West in Quartz Hill (much closer to my home), everyone here was professional, dressed appropriately AND wearing masks. The other location seems to be a bit rogue.. This was worth the drive. read more

The employees here really hate their job & it shows!!! Every time I come in here I'm really sorry I did. Employees aren't helpful at all. My most recent experience; I came in at 5:15 PM because I too have a job! The white guy at the register wouldn't take the box because it wouldn't scan my pre-printed label. I asked can you type in the numbers and he says "we don't do that". I'm thinking really, what did you'all do before scanners. I called customer service on the phone and they said "YES" they will type in the number if the scanner doesn't read it. I rush to the post office after work to get this thing shipped out just to be denied due to a lazy worker. She grabbed one of my items and she threw it over her shoulder and missed the bin. Received excellent, personable service while setting up a PO box. Agent was kind and informative, and went the extra mile to make sure I was clear about next steps and how to use the box before I left. Line was a little long but it moved much more quickly than I expected. I do think there should be more education online and in store about how to make labels online and drop off the packages using USPS dropoff box, because that tends to make up the bulk of the customer service line. read more

Put a package in my mailbox that I can't get out of my mailbox because they are too stupid to know that when the close the mailbox door again the small door i have to open is not big enough to get the package out! It's an LP so going to be out there overnight in community mailbox with temperatures expected below freezing so record is going to warp. Of course, they are not going to recompense me for the damage as it was sent " media mail" so I am out of pocket yet again. Black female employee working the front on the morning of 09/26/2017 was very rude and abrupt with me. I told her that I was inexperienced at package shipping process and instead of being an exemplary & helpful employee, she chose to be apathetic & ill-mannered. This definitely has me feeling indignant & uncomfortable. I wish I knew her by name because her shitty customer service definitely deserves to be put on blast. I tried to call in to file a complaint but could not get a direct line of connection to this particular U.S. Postal branch. This brings me to why i'm giving them 3 Stars. The female employee working opposite of her was MUCH MORE supportive & empathetic. I also do not know her name but the black female employee could learn a thing or two from her on how to be a serviceable employee. I've dealt with a couple of other employees, but I usually end up having Del (possibly from West Asia) as a cashier. While she has professional customer service skills - if she ever really says anything - she lacks a sense of urgency when handling packages. I'll be at her station for at least triple the amount of time I should be there, and I say this with no exaggeration whatsoever. It's not a matter of her being older in age or me being in a rush. She simply takes her sweet time inputting information. There is no reason it should take me almost 15 minutes to mail a box that is properly packaged and up to par with USPS' standards. read more

I don't understand why there is a phone number for this place... or any office beside the one on 50th. No one answers. Ever. Most of the people here are super rude. They make you feel dumb if you don't understand something. They act like you've committed a serious crime if you decide to ship something FC and haven't written the address on the box. And god forbid you have a legit question about shipping. I just don't understand how life could really be so miserable behind the counter that they need to be rude to the people who come in. Some things about shipping are tricky. No one teaching you the intricacies like how priority works, or regional rate, or weight limit, or how to pay for certain things. And it's not easy to find some answers online sometimes. I ship often because I sell online, and goodness these people have made me want to quit multiple times. It's not worth the extra cash if I have to be treated this way. The ONLY nice person here is someone named Ileana or something along those lines. Her name definitely starts with an i. She's helpful, kind, and even gave me tape one time!!! She's the only reason this office has any starts. The others employees should really take a page from her book. My mail has been ripped off by local post office on 93539 when I picked up yesterday. This is 3rd year and 3rd time during holiday season. The 1st time was in 2018, my greeting card had been opened and money inside was gone. When I complained to post office, I was treated like a ball kicked around for months and no result at the end. Used up energy and efforts and got back were angry, disappoint and helpless. 2nd time was 2019 holiday season as well. This is 3rd time happened in same way. Since I found a damage envelope, I showed to a staff there, she said its a machine. I disagree in my mind. Why every time this happened during holiday season? Why every time it's happened with greeting cards? I called post office Call Center, they pass the message to local office. The lady called me this morning and told me to call Postal Inspect for formal complain. I did. Then I was told it's not right dept. I should call OIG Office Inspect General. When I asked agent of his name for reference, he put me on hold never come back. I spent whole day just on the phone to find right person to complain but it seems I went back the whole process in 2018. Waste all the time and energy to get myself sad and frustrated again. I want to close the box but I have had this box for about 3 decades, it is hard for all the long term connection. Please help! Any advise will be really appreciated! read more

I am a fashion designer based in Los Angeles and i ship clothes and fabrics to clients. I went to another shipping company and they quotes me $600 to ship the package! I was so shocked. So I decided to come here and give it a try. Guess what? I paid $100 to ship a large box to Philippines and that's worth the money. They have a huge parking space! I purchased a package through Amazon. The delivery date was set for yesterday, a Saturday before 8pm.....well it showed they claim to have tried to deliver around 3pm but nobody was home. Lied!!!!! Nobody tried to deliver we were home all day, I was painting the living room with the front door WIDE OPEN!!! Funny we received other packages but from this lazy postal worker who didn't want to bother nothing. This review is for the passport service only... I have never experienced such awful customer service in my entire life. If you need a passport, please take the extra time to drive down to Santa Clarita or the SFV to get it done there. The passport office at the Lancaster post office is run by a tyrant lady who just doesn't give a damn because she has the monopoly on passport processing for the whole A.V. This is the only place in the entire valley where you can submit your passport application. In this day and age you should be able to submit your application and photos online, but that's another matter... The service at this passport office in Lancaster is the absolute worst of the worst. The average experience goes something like this... 1. Wait in line. 2. Wait in line some more. 3. Get to the front of the line. 4. Get punched in the face by the tyrant lady and get sent to the back of the line again. 5. Wait in line. 6. Wait in line some more. 7. Get to the front of the line. 8. Get kicked in the nads. 9. This is my opinion after coming here on and off for years: Don't expect the worker there to help you or be nice to you, because they are awful. Manager has some awful manners too. I have been using this post office quite a bit lately sending out packages and I have had nothing but great service. Yeah sometimes the lines are a little long but they do work rather quickly. Cheri has gone out of her way to recommend cheaper shipping options for me when sending out lots of boxes. I just appreciate everything they do to help even if it's not exactly where they would like to be. It's always clean and they keep the flat rate boxes stocked up well. All of the employees have nasty attitudes and show no respect to the public at all. They do not care about you mail or packages, regardless of its importance to you. They hate their jobs and it shows on their face and the way they speak to you. If you dread working with the public, find a new job! Avoid this location on a Monday, if possible, that is when their attitudes are the worst because "it's busy". Yes employees, places tend to get busy at peak times.
