Just cause my label was paid for, i wanted to pay extra for Priority shipping And the guy helping me didn't let me talk and scanned and processed the way HE wanted too. Didn't ask me what i wanted. My review was removed so posting AGAIN. This post office has 2 problematic employees. One on site as well as their mail delivery person. Durand who is mentioned by name in multiple reviews. He is rude for no reason and has a nasty attitude, he will talk down to you and humiliate you in front of the entire post office and then proceed to lie about the whole thing when you come back in to get his name from another employee to complain, even if you ignore him, he will provoke a fight and make a scene + his breath stinks and he stinks like cigarettes. You make my day miserable, I'll make sure to ruin yours. He didn't expect to get his a** handed back to him by a female. Don't write checks you can't cash - not everyone is going to be disrespected and take it quietly. I actually stopped going on site to avoid him and for my safety. Now their delivery/mail pick person has started creating problems, just because I wasn't able to put 2 packages outside for pick up due to an emergency (only one time) and our house is right in front of the main mailbox so it's not like he had to walk. I rescheduled for the next day - this time the packages were out there ready for pick up. Door bell rang, he decided to purposely ring the door bell (which he usually doesn't do when leaving a package) and leave someone else's package there and ignored the pickup packages that were sitting there and when I tried going out after him for leaving the wrong package as well as not taking my pickups he ran and looked right at me from His car, ignored me and drove off as fast as he could. Now we have someone else's package that he left purposely at our house just to retaliate and inconvenience us further plus I had to drive to a new post office today due to him ignoring the pick up packages - there's a reason I started doing pickups. Not only that but the handful of pickups he did do i would request him to ring the door bell first - he never said hi nor answered if I said it to him, so I started leaving my packages out for pickup to avoid having to interact with him. There's a lot of Good people out there that deserve these jobs, these 2 mean spirited people don't. Hire better people. Y'all are not doing us any free favors, you are getting paid to do this, don't get too high on yourselves just because you have government jobs. Berthas customer service is great. Went in to ship a box full of snacks for my son in the Navy, she helped me package everything in a priority box which she mentioned was cheaper than sending it in a regular box, she helped me fit everything inside, taped it all up while I was filling out the customs paperwork. She went out of her way to help me as this was the first time I send something like this to my son. There was another girl there too that started helping me but then went on her break, she was nice as well. Appreciate all their help. read more

The worst USPS post office in the world I went in there this morning around 9 AM. Just simply going to ship out a package this dude name DURAND is the one helping me out. I asked for him to tape the shipping label to the package and he told me that I had to buy the tape because he couldn't do it for me when I went in there previous times and other people have taped it for me and not made it a big deal but this guy I don't know what the fuck crawled up his asshole this fucking morning he refused to tape the shipping label and I refuse to pay three dollars for a brand new team so what I did I use the regular tape that they had over the counter that they used to take packages used for a little pieces went back to him, and he tried charging me for a whole roll of brand new tape for using four pieces what a piece of shit do not come back to this post office. Was informed the other day. That you can not get your P.O. Box mail until after 7:30 am. No sign posted that gives the hours they open. I thought it was a law that they must post signs that they open. I guess since they are federal. There exempted? I'm closing my P.O. Box. This is such an inconvenience. Their employees must not have the ability to read words or comprehend delivering things to the actual destination. Ive filed at least 5 complaints within the last 5 months. Its a shit show. Delivery driver said that he/she put my guitar in the mailbox which is not true because the mailbox is too small for a guitar. Went to the post office and supervisor said that eBay seller committed fraud and to contact eBay. Hmmm. Why did I get an email from USPS that it was delivered but I didn't get anything???? Why did the post office show me that it costs more than $7.56 to mail a 12 lb guitar and it says parcel letter. Why didn't the post office notice this in the first place? I'm not using USPS anymore to mail or receive packages. And make sure eBay seller is a regular seller not a brand new one. Goodness!!!! read more

I understand that government has quota to meet in hiring certain groups of people, but why would you hire a man who types with one finger, one letter at the time? Don't you ask how fast they type when you hire? Oh wait, only private sector jobs require to have skills! Government will hire super slow, unable to count or put mail in correct mailbox, rude people! What has compelled me to write a review was that I went to the Better Business Bureau and realized posting a review was better. This is by far the worst USPS delivery service I have ever experienced in my life. Although, delivery status of my item indicated it was scanned and delivered, it was never delivered to ME. My mailbox is part of a cluster of other mailboxes and apparently the postal person failed to put it in the right mailbox! I guess they are okay with the lousy service they provide because they really did no research and just went with "Delivered" upon my request for investigation and that's another story. I had to struggle to submit the claim over 4 times online on different occasions to get it successfully through that my item was never received. Then when I get a response, they actually had done no adequate research. I am so glad the item I ordered did not cost me a lot, but just imagine it if did! I had ordered my item from Ebay. It was a Samsung Case for my tablet costing a total of $16.53. If the Postal person failed to put it in the right mail box and I paid say over 50 dollars, I'm just screwed! Lousy... lousy service! I wonder how much of my mail has gone to the wrong address. It really makes you wonder now. USPS needs to step up and do better. With Amazon, I get way better customer service. Well, I did re-order for another Samsung case for my tablet and this time is was from Amazon. That case came in the mail two days later with no issues. They even take pictures of their deliveries! Came here to send a package and was trying to just send it the easiest and cheapest way. No need for anything fancy. Somehow the woman who works here didn't explain how and had it sent something a way that cost double the shipping it should. Felt pressured and didn't want to argue, she said no it's that way. So just sent it. UPS over on the west side is far more pleasant than the employee here. I'll drive a bit further for good service and accurate information. read more

Sometimes the employees are helpful, which is why I gave two stars but most of the time they are not helpful and rude. They speak to you as if you should already know every single thing about mailing a package. They also never want to help you do anything or explain more on how to do things. I deliver packages often due to my business and have came to this location many times for about 1 year now. Although this post office is the closest one to where I live I'd rather go to other post office locations. I usually do not like to leave bad reviews because I too have worked in customer service and understand how frustrating it can be. Horrible customer service. She's lucky I didn't get her name. But she was there on 1/30 at 2:50pm. Last register to the left. Anyways, I've never sent a package a day in my life until now. So of course I would fill out the wrong form, and place the sticker on the box. She starts off by saying "next time don't put the sticker on the box. I said I wanted to send the package using regular and not express so she told me to go to the end of the line and fill out the right form. Instead of correcting me by showing me like hey next time so you're aware it'll be this form to fill out. I felt embarrassed and I just left with my package. Now I don't even want to go back. She's really rude and she should not be working there. She should've been kind enough to show me what correct form to fill out, instead of having me figure it out and tell me to go to the end of the line. For the second time, I had a not so good experience with this post office. The first time , the clerk was very snooty and didn't want to lend a pen or spare some tape to finalize my package. The second time, clerk told me to repack the medium flat rate box as it was a bit bulging. She gave me tape this time but didn't even want to lend scissors. For goodness sakes, it's only a scissor . So I had to struggle and use my keys to reopen the package and to cut the tape. read more

I'm a little irritated because Lancaster's post office is open to access the PO boxes and the self-service kiosk. I drove all the way to Palmdale Boulevard just to get here and the doors are locked and shut when I should've just went to Lancaster and used their self-service kiosk. This option is very convenient because you can still mail things off when the post office is closed even if it doesn't get sent off until Monday. This option benefits me because I won't have time to make it to the post office tomorrow and now my package is going to be delayed or I'm gonna have to spend more money to have it sent off to get there quicker because I won't be able to send my package off until Tuesday now. It's unfortunate that I think that these doors are locked shut because of the neighborhood that it's in and that really sucks and is SO inconvenient. read more

The mail carriers on routes that have these big boxes for neighborhoods need to make sure the box keys work before they leave things in them. I have packages in one of the large boxes and can't even get them out. These carriers need to service the locks like put WD -40 on the locks to make sure they will open. read more

Lots of parking, long lines but they move fast. Lots of supplies available and I find the clerks very helpful here!

They marked my package as delivered and never left the parcel locker key in my mail box. They send me an apology message that said to contact them if I need more help (to no avail). I don't understand why they provided me with a number to contact them just so they could tell me my $40+ package isn't insured and there's nothing they can do when its their fault it got misplaced in the first place. This has been such a headache to deal with so to avoid making your customers deal with this in the future, DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU'VE LEFT THE KEY NEXT TIME, PLEASE. read more

I came here on a Friday afternoon during August 2017 and I was helped by a friendly lady who helped me - from beginning to end - ship my documents via priority mail. All the staff seemed really helpful and did what they could to help everyone speed thru the line. The only thing I would suggest is that they provide better hours on the weekends. I am furious, I left working today, after a very long day, and pulled up near my post boxes to get my mail. The next thing I know a mailman walks up to my car telling me to move my car, because he needs to deliver the mail. I explained to him that I was not blocking the mailboxes at all and that he could deliver. He did not care, he did not want me near the area while he was delivering the mail. He starter raising his voice telling me that he had been honking at me for the past 10 minutes while I was reading my mail. I explained to him that I literally just got home from work, got my mail and threw it on the seat, getting ready to drive off and not one horn was honked at me. He insisted on making his point and arguing with me in front of the neighborhood. How embarrassing. The worse part was that he stayed parked where he was (in front of the mailboxes, and began to put main in the second I pulled off. He did all of this for no reason at all. I worked very long hours today and was in a hurry to get home, and did not have time to have some it irate mailman go "NUTS" on me in front of all my neighbors. I asked him for his name and he pulls out his badge and says "you want a picture of my badge too lady" OMG I did not deserve this treatment from anyone. Worse part is, I have called his location 5 times, with the phone ringing off the hook, and no one answers my call. How can they allow this!!!!! read more

I'm so grateful for the self checkout machines they have there because there is almost always a 20-30 minute wait in line if you need help from a person! You need a debit card or credit card for the machines and I wish they took cash (I'd give another star if they did) but they do most of what the people do so they're very useful. The employees are rude, overall, and not the brightest people I've ever met. Like most of the delivery people, they should be fired but I guess that's why people dislike the post office so much! read more

I was expecting a package to be delivered by the Palmdale USPS yesterday, Sunday. I happened to look outside and I noticed the package had been delivered but left down near the street just inside our front yard gate. I pulled up our surveillance cameras and saw the postal worker who delivered the package had dropped the package over the gate onto the concrete walkway. Subsequently, I learned that this postal worker scanned the package as delivered to my front door/porch. No attempt was ever made to bring the package to the porch or ring the doorbell. And the package was left near the street where it could be seen and easily stolen. USPS was not only negligent in properly delivering this package but the postal worker lied as to where she placed the package. Typical service received by this postal service. They deserve zero stars but I was required to make a star choice so I chose one! read more
