Everytime something of value comes it ends up missing, more like stolen. NO ONE picks up the phone here and if they do and find out you got missing mail they will not call you back or now magicly won't answer the phones, ever. I have called five times regarding the same thing. My ADU that I built was approved by the city for a new address, that form was submitted to USPS. It has already been approved. I am simply attempting to inquire of the location of The designated mailbox and pick up a key. I have gone there two times, I have spoken to a representative on the phone four times now. Yesterday, informed delivery notified me that my mail had been delivered but it wasn't. I went to the post office and they said the carrier must have marked it as delivered by mistake and brushed it off. My paycheck was in that mail. if mail is being delivered to the wrong property or falsely being marked as delivered this is something that needs to be investigated. This is peoples livelihood. No one ever answers the phone. I've lived in Lancaster for 3 years and not once have I been able to reach someone by phone to address any questions or concerns. Never had luck with this place. Long lines and slow as molasses. My biggest gripe is about the USPS in general. I have packages delivered from outside the country and when it is UPS or FEDEX my packages are here pretty damn fast. However, when I have a package that comes into the country, clears customs and then gets handed to USPS, who knows when I will get it. I am waiting for one now and USPS have had it for 3 days now and it still isn't delivered. With any luck maybe tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. Absolute worst postal service anywhere in the world and why they haven't gone belly up defies logic. It would be awesome if there was a way to have USPS to hand the package off to someone reliable but that would never work as they never answer the phone anyway! Amazon was showing "packages delivered" yet they were not at my house, well 5 minutes later a nice gentleman pulled up in a blue car, and stated he was with the USPS and he had my packages...Looks like the USPS is upping their game during these C-Vid pandemic times..Way to go USPS giving them 5 stars. If I had to describe the Lancaster Carrier Annex in two words, those words would be hot garbage. That's the level of service they provide here. My beef is bigger than just this location, but with the entire USPS in general. That doesn't change the fact that during this pandemic, when our post delivery person decides to put "delivery attempted" on parcels without leaving a slip in the mailbox or using one of the larger lock boxes that would fit said package (that have been vacant and ready for use for weeks) that I would like to obtain the products that I purchased and paid shipping for. So I request that it is sent to the carrier facility for pick up, more than an inconvenience at this point because we are supposed to be self quarantining and practicing social distancing. I get a confirmation number that it will be held there for my pick up. I arrive the next morning. Wait in line with people who rudely violate the 6ft MINIMUM social distancing, in the rain, only to be told that my package was sent back to sender. The attendant at the counter didn't even take one step away from the desk before informing me of this fact. Didn't attempt to look at all. Less than 24 hours after my attempted delivery, and less than 12 hours from when I got confirmation it would be held there. Didn't get so much as an obligatory "I'm sorry". In the future, I will gladly pay extra in shipping to receive my mail via UPS or FedEx. At least they have been consistent with their service. read more

The post office from HELL! Moved out here a month ago and found out our mailbox has been broken for sometime now. The residents here are required to go to this place to pick up our mail, when my husband went the first time he asked when the box would be repaired. The customer service rep there stated there is no ETA since your box isn't the only box broken out here. RUDE!! I did file a complaint on line and received a response from a very helpful individual who made sure the box here was repaired and even followed up to make sure it had been done. Thank you Jazmin C. I go to this post office today to collect my mail and new key as the note instructed the residents to do so on the new box. I arrived at 8:30 am since they open at 9 and was about the 5th person in line. A few minutes before 9 am 3 female employees walk out to smoke across the street never uttering one word to anyone waiting. They smoke and its now 9:10 am the doors still have not opened and there is no sight of anyone inside the building, the females proceed to cross the street and enter the building through the back entrance. I kindly said excuse me and they turned around, i asked can we go into the building one quickly stated no you need to wait until someone opens the door. She stated we will let them know people are waiting, well we waited and knocked on the door no one ever came out. The heat is horrible and you have several senior citizens and a pregnant woman standing in the heat waiting. Finally after one of the seniors walked to the back entrance where the mail carriers drive into someone comes out to open the doors never once saying one word to all of us waiting. Its finally my turn to the counter and I'm assuming I will have a lot of mail since its been a week and I haven't picked up and my informed delivery shows I have a lot of mail. I had my ID to the guy and he takes off to go get my mail only to come back with 3 pieces of mail that were from Thursday of last week. I told him I am missing mail and he stated I would need to come back when the regulars are here and that he didn't know where the mail was. He also went to tell me I have a broken box which I explained had been repaired and if he could check of the key was here. He stated no that I would need to wait for the regulars to come back and I can call but I said no one answers to which he smiled and said yeah we are backed up. This is just horrible customer service and nothing is being done, you can't ever speak to a live person there the phones just ring and when you are physically there they are backed up and the supervisor is unavailable. I do not give 1-star reviews lightly. However, this location is mismanaged, the staff is extremely disrespectful, they don't answer calls and they keep people waiting at the counter. I have tried multiple times to give them the benefit of the doubt and go in with a positive attitude, and every time I have been disappointed. Multiple times they have claimed attempted delivery when my business was open, the "open, come in!" Sign was posted, the lights were on, and music was playing. Each of these times they didn't bother to leave a notice indicating next steps and in a couple cases they even "misplaced" the packages. With the reputation this place has developed, I don't understand why the employees there are not replaced. They are certainly replaceable! read more

I love our small town post office . Nothing like going in and seeing familiar faces . It's usually a little busy but friendly staff .

Every time I have to sign for a package and I'm not home I end up having to pick it up from this "side office of the post office" every time I go the lady working is super rude and seems to not acknowledge that she constantly has a huge line and seems to take her time with no sense of urgency or compassion as I here the way she treats and talks to other customers before me. This place needs to be restaffed and who ever is a manger needs to step it up. Miserable place to go every single time. The USPS delivery people don't even bother to attempt delivering packages. No note on the door or in the mailbox. They just drive around and on occasion drop off a package so it looks like they are doing something. Then i have to drive to this wonderful place which is an experience about as pleasant as a house fire. Lines stretching out the door. Staff drags their feet and is incredibly rude. They find any reason to get rid of you without having to help. These miserable people have to be making a conscious effort to be that insufferable. I'm on the phone with USPS as i type this. Waiting time of 15-20min. So far it has been just over 35min. Can we finally get rid of this broken shipping service like we intended to a while ago? I am BEYOND fed up with this location. I have a home based handmade business that I have had for two years. When I first started using USPS carrier pickup serves I lived off 60th West in Lancaster. I never had an issue with scheduling carrier pick ups online and having my packages picked up from my porch. At times over 100 packages. I'm pretty sure I was assigned to a different location. My husband and I moved last August and it has been a nightmare with this new location and the mail carriers missing pickups. I call almost every single time I schedule a pickup online as I have been instructed to do. They miss my pickups almost every time. I only ship once or twice a week. I have called and spoken to a few different managers. The woman who answers the phone is EXTREMELY rude. I know she knows who I am because I call every single week annoyed that my pickup hasn't actually been picked up. I get emails confirming my pickup and my packages are still sitting at my home. Apparently they do not have a set carrier for this route. So, assign one!! Print out the schedule for the day. This effects my business and I have unhappy customers. I have even resorted to also taping a not into my mailbox to remind the carriers on the route to please pickup my packages. The last straw for me was today when my packages were not picked up for the second day in a row, even after I scheduled online. I received a confirmation email this morning for yesterday's pickup which again was a lie. AND my note that was taped on the mailbox was crumbled up and put back into my mailbox. That is so rude. If you offer a service then it's part of your job. I help the carriers take the packages to their trucks and provide boxes for carrying. So frustrating!!!!!!!!!! This place is horrendous! I've been waiting for an important package via overseas. I received text messages regarding the status of my delivery. The last text message I received said that the carrier left a notice because there was an insecure place to leave my package. Like wtf? I took lunch off to drive here to find out what is going on and to let them know that the carrier did not leave any notice. The woman tells me that it's probably a "noobie" and that they should not hire people under 25 to work there. "In my days they did something like this...they would've been fired". I get it but what does that have to do with my package missing and the carrier lying saying that a notice was left? I'm so fed up really with USPS in general. They have lost so many of my packages within the last year that I honestly think there is people who do underhanded things and steal packages. Or people are just too lazy to do their jobs right. It ticks me off. If the reason is laziness, then be glad you have a freaking job in the times that we live in!
