I said what a waste of time and left. As I was walking out he shouted saying it's not my fault very defensively. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I admit the mistake was mine. Unfortunately, I was greeted, interacted, and treated with an zero decency. The employees' actions (Samuel) were concerning and questionable. The line was a little long, which is not unexpected during this time of the year. Everyone is trying to mail things out. One lady was apparently on lunch break so it was just one guy working through the line himself. I could overhear him helping the people in line in front of me, offering helpful suggestions and making sure they got the best options for them. He treated everyone, including myself when it was my turn, with a friendly smile and respect. He seemed to have a great sense of humor. He helped me get the correct postage amount on a card going to Australia and get new Christmas stamps (I'll still probably be short next year, but that's a me issue). Got everything I needed and though the line was long, I feel like I probably only waited about 10 minutes or so. And as before, everyone who uses this post office is nice. I'm still getting the small town vibe, which I love. This is my go-to post office until we move again.

This post office (known as the "Kent Midway" location) is not easily spotted from the street. You…read morecould probably drive past it ten times and never know it's there, but It's tucked in the same strip mall as Dollar Tree on Pac Highway just south of Kent Des Moines Road. (You can also access it from 30th Avenue South.). But once you're there, this post office has plenty of parking. It also has weird hours. The hours on Yelp are wrong, and I suspect it's because you can't include split hours on Yelp. I've included a photo of the hours, I hope that helps. But it may not help enough... Can you go before work? Probably not. Can you go during your lunch hour? Also no. But, there are rarely more than a few people in line (I'm looking at you, Downtown Kent Post Office with your long lines!), and the employees are always friendly and efficient. For that reason, it might be worth it to find this little postal location.

This is one of them and this is for THE post office. You could almost miss it, since it's basically a modular home on bricks. This post office is similar in style to the one in Bucoda. Small office for a very very very small town. It's across the street from a school and on the corner of the "T" street that one direction takes you toward Mima Mounds and Capitol State Forest and the other to whoknowswhere.com.
