Christine Falls is just off Paradise Road to the west of Jackson Visitor Center at Mount Rainier National Park. There are a couple places to pull off to the side and it's a very short walk down to see it. It's cool that the waterfall is framed by the bridge above it. It's 69 feet and while not the biggest waterfall in the park it's a nice view that requires very little effort.

Easy trail to get closer to the falls, great for photos taking. It's the last falls we stopped before exiting mount reinier via Nisqually gate.

10/06/11 (Last Visited) Worth the stop for the very pretty Cristine Falls - very picturesque with the stone bridge framing the falls! Short walk and great view point! Fifteen minutes minimum. The best view however is from the parking area on the other side of the bridge. Very short little trail down to an obsevation area will allow you to get some pictures of the bridge with the falls as the backdrop. This down the road from Narada Falls on the way out of the park heading Longmire. Parking is extremely tight so take what you can get. The falls can be ready seen from the road but goes under the bridge gets one another gorgeous shot. There are two other waterfalls that we visited... Narada Falls and Silver Falls. Well worth making a stop and seeing it! * Christine Falls is a waterfall on Van Trump Creek in Pierce County, Washington. The falls are 69 feet (21 m) feet high and are best known for having a bridge spanning the lower drop. The upper drop is 32 feet (9.8 m) high and is almost impossible to film in tandem with the oft-photographed 37-foot (11 m) lower tier. The lower tier is probably one of the most commonly photographed locations in the Mount Rainier area. The falls were named in honor of Christine Van Trump, the daughter of P. B. Van Trump. In 1889 Christine, then nine years old, accompanied her father on an ascent of Mount Rainier, as far as her strength would allow. She made it to the 10,000-foot (3,000 m) level, even though she had a crippling nervous disorder.

So beautiful! There is a quick easy decline to see another waterfall if you're parking on the road. This was one of my favorite stops on the way to paradise. It's absolutely breathtaking!

This beautiful waterfall is right off the road to Paradise, coming from the Nisqually entrance: limited parking and walking.

We booked this place for 10 days and opened it a month old since Covid. Rooms are newly renovated…read moreso yeah - Chaching! We scored! It was an honor to be part of this historic landmark hotel which was established circa 1912. There are 9 rooms in which 5 rooms have their own private bathroom. The other 4 shared two bathroom. Each rooms are named after favorite local hiking trail. Each room are also decorated with combinations of William Morris wallpapers with dark and light hues. If you see it in person, it seems like you're time traveled from the first time it was established. They were also able to preserved some of the original wood and decorations inside this historic hotel. Alyssa one of the staffs is the most kindest and warmest person who always greeted us. Her and other staffs worked so hard together to keep the place going and cozy as much as possible. There's also a fire place that's available to use during winter. Also a complimentary coffee, tea and cider to help warm you after a chilly hike somewhere. Every where yo set your eyes in this place has a very special touch from people whose involved in this place. Glad we stayed here throughout our Juander Mt. Rainier. Best decision to book here! The creaky floor was one of the original thing here so t'was a fun bonus. Walk slowly fellow Juanderers.... Cons: Price is too steep and for the 10 days that we booked here we only got 10% discount and at the time they don't serve breakfast nor dinner. No microwave available for everyone to use, it would be nice if they put one and is available to use at any time. Would love to come back and hopefully they'll give a certain big discount next time. Mahalo for reading and happy juandering fellow yeeps!
