The post office is literally 2 minutes from my house, and no one even attempted delivery. Instead, they marked it as if I requested a hold, which is false. Matt the postmaster is the devil. Grumpy Pants retired but Matt is the most unhelpful rude and nasty man I've ever encountered. He loves to make excuses for everything. He is lazy and disgusting in every way. Paula and Kristy are great, however. Though that is it - all the others are almost as bad as Matt. Probably the worst thing about living in eatonville is the post office. I am not allowed to have a mail box even though I own my house. But they will deliver mail to the neighbor behind me? So frustrating that we are forced to pay $96 dollars for 6 months to receive our mail and half the time our mail is ripped open in our box. I keep getting packages sent back to seller because they don't want to do their job. Just so annoyed with usps and our postal service the only worker there that is helpful and nice is this man who always has good customer service. The rest of the workers there need to learn how to be respectful and maybe smile more often. read more

Completely lazy and does not pay attention. I've had countless pieces of mail and boxes delivered to us with a different address. When tracking my mail and it says "out for delivery", 50% of the time is it actually delivered that day. As you can see in the picture, I had a boxed stuffed into my mailbox that took strength and tools to pry out, it should have been out in my doorstep. I'm making an assumption on their disorganized manner on delivery on what I witness. In one day the same mail truck passes my house 4-6 times because they are not organized, it's like they are on a wild goose chase tracking down the house the mail belongs to because they haven't found a way to organize it. There's a lot of negativity about the Eatonville post office. I'd like to point out that "Grumpy Pants" (as we called him, I think his name is Don) has retired, so his rudeness, unfriendliness, and scowling looks are no longer there. Paula has always been friendly, courteous, professional, and a joy to work with. The new Post Master (I don't know his name) is a ray of sunshine who greets you with a friendly smile, actually talks and jokes with you, and makes it a pleasure to be waited in by him. There's the occasional mix up, but overall we're very satisfied with the people we interact with there. I cannot speak of the mail carriers as we pick our mail up in town, although I know that Brenda Waters is one of the best. Let's hear some positive about our local post office instead of the usual negativeness. read more

This is the absolute worst Post Office I have used. Their so called premium po box service is a joke. Three times they have messed up this service and just lost another package that was delivered and signed by an employee there. They claim that they sign for every item that is delivered with one signature so there is no guarantee that the package arrived. Checking what is coming in with what you are signing for is receiving 101. That is how every warehouse and receiving company works! They signed for a package but lost it and now say it isn't their fault and they did not receive it from UPS. I have received many packages from UPS at our previous home and never once had an issue. This has happened 3 times out of the 10 items that have been shipped here. This place needs to get rid of everyone and start new. read more

I live in town and the post office has delivered mail to wrong address and packages are always being delivered to wrong address and the postal workers are so rude no company can be this horrible and continue to stay in business. I had an email and text message stating my pkg had been delivered and I didn't get it. So, either the person whom received it stole it or the mail carrier stole it! Eatonville is pretty notorious for being crappy at anything customer service, and this is no different. This is got to be the most inept group of people that have ever worked at a post office. I've had numerous lost packages, none of them decide to pick up your mail if you put it in the mailbox, they want you to bring it directly to them in town, put it in their hands, and then they might send it, then it might get there on time. Today was the last straw though, I need a hammer that I'm going to need for work tomorrow, they said it's delivered, and lo and behold nobody seen hide nor hair of it. IF YOU WANT TO LOST YOUR PACKAGE AND YOUR MONEY GO TO EATONVILLE POSTAL OFFICE. My family started an on line business here in Eatonville, WA. Our company has grown to where we need pick up for our packages. Over 400 packages put out each month. The post office here has 5 different people through out the month picking up our packages. The postoffice has lost over $8k worth of merchandise in the past year alone. The postal worker picking up would not scan packages from our home and so not being scanned some disappeared and some show in the system. Not being shown means no warranty reimbursement and so out of pocket twice for the same customer, the loss and cost to replace the order. Theft is common with Eatonville postal service. We have made complaints but on deff ears. We spent over $120k in postal cost last year alone. One would think that kind of money would result in action but not as to date. read more

We have a PO Box and have had repeated issues with missing mail. We also, often, get other people's mail in our box by mistake and have to turn it back in. We have missing bills, statements and more and it happens on a regular basis. We once had mail missing. I asked about it and they just shrugged their shoulders. About a week later I had yellow package pickup slip and lo and behold they found the package AND a tub on the shelf in back full of our mail that was 3-4 months old. Nobody knew why it was put in the tub on the shelf and left there. I am now on hold to once again figure out why I am missing invoices, statements, a state tax return form....all of which should have arrived a month ago. This is ridiculous! I don't know why I am wasting my time even speaking to someone there about this because it didn't help in the past.... EDIT: After 15 minutes on hold....I hung up to call them back and now it is just busy. Good Lord! Get your crap together. read more

I am disgusted with your delivery service. Some days they don't deliver at all. 4 times now I had to hunt my package down after getting an email that my business was closed or other weird reasons. We are a residence right next to the street. No notice left in my mailbox as required. We have an extra large mailbox so that most packages fit. No mail on Monday, next day a big stack with half of it the neighbor's mail. I have complained before, no results!! read more

They drive off with my packages atleast 3 times a week. I shop alot on Amazon and these dead beats manage to make that inconvenient. They drive down my driveway dont honk dont get out dont leave my packages on the porch or next to my 1/4mile driveway. If it doesn't fit in my mail slot they make me go pick it up even though I'm here all day with my wife since I work nights and they will fail to deliver even as I'm out mowing the lawn. Last year they left about 20% of my packages and when they did they left them on my mail box in the rain just waiting to be stolen. This year they dont even slow down to kick out 80% of my packages. I live on a country road, which I walk down three times a day. Our delivery person (I believe her name is kaleene) drives quite fast down our road. The first time I encountered her was on a blind curve, where she swerved to avoid hitting me. Not long after that, I stopped her on the road and asked her to slow down for safety. She was defensive, angry and insistent that she was going the speed limit. Since then, she continues to pass me at an unreasonable rate of speed. I have raised my hands at her (a "what are you doing" gesture of frustration) and she has shouted very rudely at me out her window on two occasions. Today, I was returning from my walk and she was putting mail in our neighbors box. I was walking towards her and she sped off as quickly as she could without acknowledging or looking at me. Her customer service is abysmal. I called the post master general and left a message a few weeks ago, but have never heard back. This post office is a joke. read more

Absolutely horrible post office. Did not receive mail on a certain date and was told that because person that was delivering the mail took too long she couldn't deliver my mail. This is in direct violation of federal law and the post master oath. When I pointed out this was illegal and asked for his name the post master literally tried to have me arrested under false charges.
