The worst post office I have ever been to, and that is saying something. They had a separate line for picking up mail with no sign. I was in the mail line, and right before it was my turn, the lady announced with a smirk that those who are picking up needed to be in the other line. Due to the COVID19 mandates my office has been force closed. I'm also a mom & currently homeschooling a child who isn't able to go to school. In the past I never had to rely on a scheduled residential pick up. However due to the changes I am now heavily depending on USPS to come & pick up my mail. As a responsible customer I went online to schedule a pick up. Usually they pick up when they drop off the mail. Unfortunately today & a few other days that wasn't the case. These idiots never look at their pick up lists or care to pick up anyone's mail. I have even paid $20 for them to pick up at a specific time & they never cane. I called the station & spoke to the RUDE MANAGER! I know who she us because she's the bat shit crazy one that I usually see yelling at customers in the station. Well apparently she's rude over the phone too. This psycho started making up excuses for the carrier who never picked up my outgoing mail today. She said unfortunately it's a new person on the route & they may not get to it. Are you flipping kidding me? That wasn't acceptable. I told her that this is for my business & my mail has to go out today. She literally yelled at me & hung up the phone. Then I tried to call back .....she purposely didn't answer. I'm filing a complaint against her & writing a letter to file a complaint against her. Enough is enough. She can't keep treating customers like garbage. If you're unhappy with your job....get a new one. Be grateful you have a job right now. People are loosing their jobs right now due to COVID19. You ungrateful b*tch! read more

This post office is so unorganized and messy. I have sent so many packages through this post office and they always either go to the wrong address or they are lost. Whenever I report this issue to the post office they don't take any responsibility and don't even bother to fix my problem. Don't waste your time here. There is a high chance your package will be lost or delivered wrong. read more

The worst customer service ever. I went to pick up a package last week and I had the slip to pick it up since I missed the mailman, any who when it was my turn this black young woman, (her name is Diamond) helped me out. She was so unmotivated and never smiled and was just sour the WHOLE time. She asked for my ID, I have it to her, she looked at me and said your address on your ID needs to match the slip. .... UM EXCUSE ME? And I said since when does that need to be the same? I don't permanently live here, I just go to school here, the address on my drivers license is my hometown and the address on that slip is where I currently live here in Irvine. I asked when did this changed? She said out policy changed last week, (I doubt that this is even true) Diamond looked at me with a straight face and didn't offer anything else. So I could tell by her body language that she wasn't going to help me so I called for her supervisor 10 minutes passed by and her supervisor came (Margie) and she even said I need a permanent address, and she asked if I had a letter or other mail that had my current address on it, like SURE I carry that information on me all the time. And I wasn't trying to go home and come back. She wanted me to pull up my leasing agreement for my apartment complex to show I currently live there. THIS WAS VERY UNNECESSARY. I would understand if I didn't have the mail slip, and they would ask for extra information but I had everything. Margie finally brought me my package, and I then asked to see this "new policy" and she goes, "I'm sorry I can't give you that information." Are you kidding me??? If you're claiming you have a new policy for your customers I have the right to see this new information, I asked why can't you show me, and she said it's still fairly new, we just got informed from our district. I asked for a photocopy then and she still refused to show me. That right there shows this location is lying about their policies and to their customers. I spent the next couple days looking online for this policy and couldn't find anything. This location is definitely getting a claim for me. I have to pick up another package tomorrow, lets see if I have another situation to deal with. read more

The worst USPS office! We do have many parcel lockers in our community, but they always place our shipments in front of the door! 2 weeks ago our shipment lost! We went there a week ago and talked to the manager to solve the problem ( we did not ask for any refund for our lost shipment), she took all our info and was supposed to call us back in 24 hours but nobody called us! Multiple issues here. They seem to decide when they want to offer services. I checked to confirm they were doing passport photos and when I got there they changed their answer and said they don't offer passport services during the holidays. BS to me. Customer service is non existent. They lack empathy and refuse to answer basic questions when they're in the wrong. They also find it really difficult to ship mail to deployed service people and forget tracking it once they send it - if they send it at all. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! Brought a 2 LB box with a label, showed the lady, and the lady refused to let me tape the box w her tape. Supposedly it's the rules; however very interestingly, my husband has brought many packages here and he have taped for him. Regardless, the horrible lady charged me for a new roll of tape, watched me tape the box, ran the transaction, and THEN told me that she could NOT take my box. I told her that it would have been right for her to tell me this before she charged me for the tape but she couldn't have cared less and said it was my fault for not showing her. You're probably familiar with the term "going postal." Well, from my experience at this location, I would never suspect anyone who works here would ever go postal. This is like the Nordstroms of post offices. The service is great! Really! I'm not joking! The clerks are very friendly and always smiling. They really seem happy and willing to help. The only downside is that they close at 4:30 PM. I only have minutes after work left to pick up my packages, which is the result of my Amazon.com buying obsession. Heehee... read more

This post office is ok for the daily errands, but try to get help from someone other than the ladies at the counter and good luck. I had to deal with the manager in three or four occasions and he needs some serious customer service help. Does not listen to whatever you are trying to explain and his response to questions is "I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do" then walk away. I've never had to go to the post office until recently and as a post office noob it may seem confusing at first, but my first visit here I asked the multiple workers around and they told me briefly what to do and I was still confused. I asked them lots of questions and they answered so I like that. My second visit it went down smoother than butter. Once you get the hang of things and you know what to do its a smooth visit. Worst customer service ever. They say you can call this location for a passport application appointment, but I called multiple times, different days, different hours - no one has ever picked up. The mailbox is also full. This was supposedly the closest and most convenient location for us, but we were forced to make an appointment at the Newport office. At that location, someone picked up the moment I called and we were able to make an appointment immediately. It seems like the universe rounded up all lazy people and threw them into this Irvine location. read more

I came in 10 minutes before closing and there were only a few people in front of me. The line went by very fast, once I made it to the front of the line; there was a huge line of people behind me. The associate was very nice and struggled to find the address that I was sending to but she was very patient and persistent. Rude and not helpful supervisor had to use them again to pickup a certified mail. They lost my package before.

This post office has extremely rude people working here. I recently went in to inquire about a letter that I had mistakenly signed for a few days ago, but was not addressed to me. At the post office, I stated that the person there had mistakenly given me the letter, and they shouldn't have done that. They started by saying the policy was that family members could pick up, but I replied that they didn't know who I was, and it could be a breach of privacy for the actual recipient. The manager said that all of the employees there were well trained, and he became extremely defensive. He started verbally abusing me, saying things like I must have opened it and not wanted the package so I'm now trying to return it, then chose to ignore me, stating if I didn't sit down he would call the police. It was inappropriate and I was extremely insulted by his behavior. I have seen employees at this post office arguing with customers before, but I never knew what was going on. Now, I understand that when this post office's employees have done something wrong, and are not willing to fix it, they will always ask their supervisor to come out and use harassment and abusive use of power to make customers leave. read more

I dunno what the complaint is about with this post office. There were 5 workers at around 2 PM on a Thursday. The post office was busy and there was a line of 3 people ahead of me. I only needed stamps and a USPS worker assisted me. She was working in the station to the right of the line. She did ask the people in front of me if they needed to only drop off mail but they were there to pick up items. There was no preferential treatment that I could see. Self-service mailing station is always open to ship packages after hours. Staff are efficient and helpful.

I'm surprised by how few US Post Offices don't have the machines where you can weight and pay for postage, or buy stamps, without needing to wait in line to have a person do it. This location fortunately does have that option, so "Yay! I'm a fan." read more
