Don't know where to begin, and I am not sure if any higher up employees even take complaints seriously or even read these comments at the head office. Like other comments that wanted to give zero star, I'd like to give this awful rude customer service a minus if I could. The counter employees are the rudest, most complacent with no regards for customer's concerns I've ever experienced. For Christ's sake, these are federal employees who are handling US mails. Three different times I experienced my mails not delivered after after my mail hold expired and after change of address. When this time I went to complain to the clerk (Asian lady), she got very defensive and got into argument from the get go, eventually the other employee named Pancho (or something) got involved that he had no business in doing so. I've witnessed the same guy arguing with another customer before, and twice before bragging he was in the military. He was threatening me that I was in the federal building when I didnt make any offensive commets. As a result of the situation getting more and more intense, the supervisor got involved who was nice enough to listen and sympathize with me. To make the situation worse, these unprofessional employees started laughing at the situation while I was discussing the matter with the supervisor. It eas very embarrassing and humiliating to say the least. I was assured by the supervisor that the postmaster named Sonya will call me in a few days and the employees involved will be disciplined asap. It's been 2 weeks and I've yet to get that phone call from that postmaster. Needless to say, we can see why people go to FedEx and other means for their postal needs and pay more. I can also conclude why the US Postal serve has been severely financially suffering. These employees think they are invincible and can never be touched for their infractions, even they are low level employees. In light of the incident, I'd demand that postmaster general reads this complaint and an executive calls me. The supervisor must know who I am and she has my phone number. This incident should be taken seriously. read more

I just moved in 9 months ago from Duarte (fantastic postal service) and have put a hold on my mail twice with a resume date. The first time, it took weeks and I had to catch the mail man to say that my accumulated mail had not been delivered. I was told that he had been on vacation and my slip had been lost. The second time was over the holidays and it was supposed to resume on the 2nd of January...it resumed on the 10th. Also, when I have packages delivered, he leaves my front gate hanging open. I had a package that must have been delivered yesterday and instead of putting it on my front porch, he put it outside my garage. I found it this evening as I was taking out my trash. It sat in the rain all day. I have never experienced bad service from any post office before this. There is something really wrong here. read more

I went to the Glendora Post Office because I needed to submit passport applications for my family, four of us. They opened doors at 9 am for regular business and 9:30 am for passport related business. The female employee who opened the doors at 9 directed me to sign in on the passport board. She explained to me that someone would be in at 9:30 am to help me but it might be earlier. About 9:10 am, another employee, Pancho, called my name and started to process my applications and all the related paperwork. Pancho was able to go thru all four applications and complete them in about 40 minutes. He was knowledgeable about the process and extremely efficient. I give high marks to him for courtesy and professionalism too. Here's a hint: Come prepared with all your original documentation and copies as needed. This helps the process to go very quickly. They have the applications on hand. read more

Came here for the passport services. Expected a long wait. Wrong! Waited less than 20 minutes before being ushered to Pancho's slot. He helped my family with their passports, carefully going through our application forms. He even advised us on their pictures, some of which he said would not pass as passport photos (thanks for nothing Costco and Sam's). He was courteous throughout the entire deal. We're happy he helped us out. We dealt with Pancho years ago for our passport renewals. He's been a staple at this Post Office for a long time. If you're planning on getting a passport here, plan to be here for HOURS! Unless you get lucky and come on an off slow day... You're stuck for hours. There is only one person who can do them and there is NO sense of urgency at all in this place. Obviously this establishment doesn't train their employees for speed. Wow--As Donald S. said in a prior review, customer service has come a long way. Went to the post office today and saw the familiar line. HOWEVER, Francine was asking everyone in line what they needed and took care of a lot of needs in a very quick manner. I needed something sent certified, and seriously, in less than a minute she handled it all for me at the self-service kiosk. TERRIFIC professional service done so quickly! Glendora Post Office - don't use the Self Service Kiosks. The Clerks will push you to use the Self Service Kiosks. I acquiesced to the Clerk's insistence that I use the kiosk instead of having a live person help me. The envelope I sent was returned to me with "postage due". I took it back to Glendora Post Office and they said the envelope was too thick and had to be charged at a "package rate". The Clerk then took me to a Kiosk which stated I had to REPAY THE FULL AMOUNT instead of just the additional amount due. The Clerk basically shrugged his shoulders and said that's what I had to pay. I was upset and left without mailing the package. I did some errands, cooled down, and then the idea occurred to try a different post office. I went to the Azusa Post Office and had a Clerk at the counter help me. She advised that I only had to pay the amount due and not repay the full amount. Take away .... go to the counter and have the Clerk help you. Also, maybe stay away from Glendora P.O. if you want competent customer service. read more

I dropped off two packages last Wednesday. One was a postage paid package and the other was one I had to pay the post on. I asked for receipts for each so I could tack them, as they were items that were time sensitive returns. The lady at the counter told me that she couldn't scan the postage paid package and give me a receipt. She told me to just take a picture with the tracking number on it. I told her I've gotten receipts before, but she insisted no. Stupidly, I trusted her enough to leave the package with her. All week I've been looking up the tracking number and nothing. No trace. Finally this morning, a full 7DAYS LATER, the package came up as scanned! The package needed to be there 2 days ago! I am never trusting them with my mail again. I only went for the convenience on that day, but will be sticking to either Covina branch from now on, where I left a package off without a hitch yesterday. This incompetence just cost me over $100 dollars. read more

I don't feel they even deserve one star! I sent out a package (priority mail) on Dec 17 to AZ...expected delivery date was the 20th. Here it is Dec 29th and the package has yet to arrive-mind you, it is Christmas presents to my daughter.Not until I filed a claim , finally, did the package start moving. This is unacceptable!!!. I am now forced to take my packages elsewhere to avoid service like this...I will gladly pay more @ fed ex to be sure my packages arrive on time...signed, one very disappointed customer :-( read more

If I could give a negative 10 I would. I got the runaround. the supervisor gave bad advice then blamed the customer. She then made up lies & had her coworkers lie all to cover their Mistakes. Such horrible customer service. I would rather not deal at all with this place. Very disorganized & unprofessional. It was a total nightmare dealing with these workers. Beware.
