The staff were rude and unhelpful while I was trying to drop off a package. Go to a different location.

Stopped in here because I knew this location was small, close to the freeway and not usually crowded. Showed up with my package already sealed and addressed and the woman behind the counter asked me if my envelope contained papers. I said it contained a calendar. She said I would need to fill out a customs form since it was going to Canada. I balked a bit, since I'd sent this exact same calendar in exact same packaging to Canada, Gibraltar and other international destinations from other post offices and not been asked to fill out a customs form. She told me it was a requirement. Maybe for this post office but not the other two I've gone to... Grouchy, I filled out the form and handed everything back to her. She starts putting things into the computer and then says, "Oh, this is a flat envelope, you have to fill out this form instead," and hands me a different, smaller customs form. The one my local office claims they do not even have in stock anymore. I get more frustrated and she tells me it's again, another requirement and all post offices are required to maintain these small customs forms for these particular type of documents. So either this office is totally out of touch with how everyone else is doing things, or the other places I go to (much bigger offices with a lot more traffic and packages) are misinformed and/or lying to me. I'm inclined to be skeptical about the Fulton Road Post Office. I'm also not inclined to ever return here again. I'll go somewhere that doesn't require unnecessary paperwork when I'm short on time and energy. read more

This tiny sized post office branch is an absolute mess! Cluttered, disorganized, dirty and so down trodden looking I thought I had stepped through a science fiction transporter to a destitute 3rd world country. The persnickety clerk gave me a time wasting bureaucratic run-around over my pre-paid package that I only needed to drop off and be on my way. This postal worker told me how I needed to bring them more business in order for this office to stay open. No, this branch is so embarrassingly crappy it needs to close. read more

The main post lady here (blonde woman) has for years been a difficult person but today was by far my worst experience. She refused, yes refused to mail my package to an address I have been using for 35 years. She claimed there were too many zip codes for that address in her file so I had to use a PO Box instead! I tried to take my package and leave but she held it and told me I had to listen to her gibberish!! Her behavior was rude, disrespectful, outrageous and wrong. So in these days of Covid Virus I had to leave her to her ranting, go to another Post Office , wait again and mail my same package with no problem. She really hates her job and needs to be removed from her position because she causes so much angst to unsuspecting customers. And has done so for many years. She is really a disgrace to the postal service. read more

If I could give this post office LESS than 1 star, I would!! I was just going to write my review of my horrible experience at this office and decided to read the other reviews first. I almost laughed that every single one of us has the same complaint about the same person. After reading all these reviews, I'm going to contact the post master and ask that this wretched excuse for a human being be removed from her position. Here is MY reviews: After driving by this cute little office for 40 years, I finally decided to stop there and mail a small package when I was in the area. Boy, was I sorry. There is absolutely no where to park anywhere near by, but whatever. That is minimal compared to how appallingly bad this woman behaved. She was super rude to the man she was "helping" in line in front of me, and then flat out refused to mail my package when it was my turn at the window. She made every excuse about the size, the shape, the taping, the address, you name it. I mail packages almost every day at whatever post office I am near and I never ever have had any flack from anyone... until this witch that is. She couldn't even respond hello when I walked up and greeted her. She just started, in a VERY hostile way, telling me that my package was unmailable and she would have to charge me all these extra fees. I walked out while she was CONTINUING to lambast me all the way out the door. She needs to be fired STAT. I come here all the time for work. It's very small but it's not usually packed and they people are helpful. They're usually not overly friendly but not rude either. When I have to go to a post office this is the one I prefer. read more

I am not one to write reviews, but I have to share my terrible experiences with the blonde lady who works at this post office. I went in there with packages all ready go be sent out, set them on the table and she proceeds to tell me I'm using the wrong priority packaging boxes, as well as not being in the right zip code to send out packages from this location. I was almost speechless. I have never had any issues sending out very similar packages from other locations in the past, and definitely never been told I'm in the wrong zip code to be dropping my packages here when I live less than 3 miles away. Terrible customer service and this person is just awful in general. Avoid this location! read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!!!!! The younger blonde clerk is just nasty!! I've never experienced someone so rude EVER! I can't believe she still has her job!! She should be fired! Customer service is not the job for her! The older lady used to be nicer .. but I think the other one has rubbed off on her! I feel sorry for her husband! Wow. The blonde woman who all the reviews are about, who works behind the counter every single day, REALLY REALLY REALLY hates her life A LOT. If you are having a beautiful day, she will be sure to make you wait in line, tell you that you packaged your items incorrectly, make you fill out unnecessary forms, and of course be absolutely rude, condescending and disrespectful the entire time AND ultimately, not send your packages for you. I would highly suggest to avoid her and this location if possible unless you want to waste your time and energy on bitter people. read more

The Fulton post office is a bad experience ! I have gone there twice to rent a post office box because I just moved to the Fulton area. When I returned with my documents, the rude postal worker (Donya) told me that my lease agreement could be fake,is not notarized,and they would not take it. I have gone to Montgomery Village and downtown Santa Rosa with my documents and spoken to the post master there and told that I have everything I need to rent a box. Fulton is making up their own rules. I now have a consumer affairs case number. Donya is rude and not following USPS rules. read more

Unlike the other comments, I only agree with the it is not packed. But I have had better customer service from the post office before. I have only dealt with two female postal workers. One I would say is kind. The other curt and not too friendly. She speaks with a passive aggressive tone. I would drive farther and wait in line at another post office instead of dealing with that person. I wish they would wear name tags so I can identify the person. read more

This is by far the worst Post Office I have ever encountered. There is a lady that works here and is a total B***. I swear she has a stick up her ass all the time. You can be polite and nice and she's so rude. Every time I drop my packages in the bin outside they get returned. ALL THE TIME! Avoid this place.. read more

This is the closest Post Office to me and I refuse to go here. I think the old prick who use to be the Post Master finally retired. He use to give me grief because I dropped off flat rate prepaid packages with the zip code one over in Larkfield/SR. The woman who is there now must have been corrupted by him. This place is absolutely terrible. If you go there in the afternoon there is crowds as all post offices. But incompetence and lack of respect for customers is amazing! I spent thousands with USPS every year and this guy is busting my ass over a zip code that doesn't even matter! read more

This is a cozy, efficient, happy post office. The people here are friendly and fast, and there is rarely a line. I love this place.

For all you who gave this post office a bad review...good, stay away. Go stand in line at the main PO. I love Fulton because the people are great there and rarely have much of a wait. read more

Worst ever. This has occurred three times now so it is not just a bad day for her. The lady that everybody is referring to is not only a horrible person but a flat out liar. Its a pattern of behavior that indicates she should be unemployed. This is not an opinion it is a fact. She tries to get me to change the zip code on my packages becasue I live in a different zip code but I work in hers so dropping them off at her office is more convenient. Her office needs the zip code changed so her office gets the package count necessary not to be closed. Clearly she lacks any ability to provide even the lowest level of customer service. I watched the other worker over charge a customer for a package. The employee did not recommend the padded flat rate option which would of been many dollars cheaper than the option she recommended. I was also falsey accused of trying to gain the system by bringing my packages to a different zone to save money. All the zip codes starting with "95" are the same zone so again she is caught in a lie. Plus I was shipping flat rate so zone is a non factor. I imagine she lies all day to customers who don't know any better. I also believe trying to get me to put a fraudulent return address also would void any insurance for my priority mail packages. Turns out if your try to complain she is the one the complaint is forwarded to. Great system. NOT I say boycott this hell hole of a place. Put her out of a job or transfer to an office where she can't get away with her BS. #boycotfultonusps By the way while I am on the subject Redwood Valley Post office is the office all other offices should aspire to be like!!! This is my third trip. The first was OK, I wanted to buy stamps. They had none of the newer advertised stamps because per the clerk, they are too small. The second was about a little over a month ago. I had about 10 identical book sized pages to mail for Christmas. I got there about 3:00, no one was in the lobby, only one clerk of 3 employees was working as someone had broken their other (they have 2) terminal/registers. The clerk reprimanded me for having so many items. She said I will cause people to have to wait when they come in. I asked if their other register had just broken. No - It was broken a week ago!!! My latest trip... I had to place a change of address for my recently deceased father. Again, no other customers in the lobby. The other clerk that works there waited on me. She began by reprimanding me for coming in so close to closing. She told me she didn't get paid for working past closing. I had my documentation ready for her to view including death certificates and such, and she continued to reprimand me for coming in so close to closing. Keep in mind, my Dad has just died, so you would expect some slack... We finished up 4 minutes after closing. I can see why the Post Office is in such poor financial shape. They have zero customer service. If only FedEx or UPS would handle the mail!
