Older white woman (don't know her name) was difficult and ignorant to my wishes. I have been there many times and only one other time did I have an associate help me with a package. Today I had a prepaid label and wanted one of the plastic bags with a seal to ship this. Which I seen someone else had used and i have received one of those for free prior from the other associate. I've never seen this lady before and she said they don't have them and I told here where they were, she said they're not for sale. I'm thinking what that even means because what is the packaging there for then? She tells me whoever gave it to me before was not doing what they were supposed to do because they have no free packaging. I still asked can I purchase it? She said they're not for sale I need to buy bubble wrap or different packaging. It was for a purse... a small leather one already used because I'm a reseller. She's asking if it's a return and if it has a prepaid label which I already told her what I was there for. Clearly not listening to me and not willing to help the customer. I go there all the time to drop off packages with my own packaging for this reason. Today I just wanted a different packaging because I didn't want to use something so big for this item and overall I wasted a whole trip there because she couldn't accommodate what I was asking for. After waiting two and half hours past our appointment, which was set almost 2 weeks in advance, we were told that we couldn't be helped with our child's passport application because "we did not have the required documents." My wife and I were lied to by the staff and so were several others because the employees a working at the time were backed up and did not want to add more work to their plate. We verified that we had all the necessary documents by calling the our local government agency. This facility should have its employees replaced with people who care to do their job. read more

I've been going to this post office many times a week and the staff is always patient, courteous and attentive. My issue is with the overall handling of operation hours. There are times when the facility is closed despite the USPS website saying it should be open. Today, I was there 12 minutes before closing, and a manager was standing at the door, turning people away, saying that there were too many people already in line. Frustrating. read more

Seriously the slowest. One employee to take care of the line that's almost out the door. You would think the women in the back would come up front to relieve some of the burden. I really enjoy visiting the post office. The services at the Post office are so outdated, but I enjoy my time here. I can't imagine having to go elsewhere to get my postal stamps, money orders, and certified mail. The Post Office still enforce that good Ol' American integrity. It's a safe space, and the employees are stern on the laws that govern the US Postal Service. The Post Office is also a place that requires you to slow down and to be respectful of your neighbors. Disrespect have no place in the Post Office. It requires you to have a great deal of patience. I enjoy having to visit any post office to pick up my yearly stamps and other postal needs. I would much rather do business at the post office than at Fed X, UPS, and Amazon. On another note, the wait time at this location was longer than usual. I know everyone is getting back to work after the polar vortex, so I did not mind standing in line a little longer today. read more

Employees are actually really nice here. Smaller facility. No Self service. That's ok, the line moves fast.

The postal service delivery rate is abysmal. I sent an overnight package and it took eight days to get there. Very disappointing.

I have complained multiple times to the manger. my driver has also stated that he brings my mail home when my box is to full bc he will not deliver my mail if my box already has mail in it. However here Fronza was extremely helpful and patient didn't rush me, and didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing the differences between the different flat rate boxes and furthermore went the extra mile to make sure I got the right price when the computer was glitching. read more

Way to Dunning USPS.. I dropped off a package with priority mailing, with your 2 to 3 business days for shipping for a package to be sent to Louisiana. Well, 12 days later I just got a new tracking update saying that my package has now arrived at Elk Grove Village distribution Center! I mean, REALLY!! Took 12 days just to go 14 miles down the street!! I would've taken it there myself had I knew it would of taken almost 2 weeks to go 20 minutes across town. And according to the yelp reviews about the Elk Grove Village distribution center, apparently that's where packages go to die. I feel most bad for the customer receiving the package since it's an eBay item supposedly on a timed delivery. Well, fingers crossed that Elk Grove Village distribution center doesn't lose my package or gets stolen as many of the yelpers have said. read more

This was the absolute worst maiiling experience I have ever had.i had a package return to sender because my name wasn't on the mail box( we have two different last names in the house and no one name on the mail box and never Had an issue) called the next day when they were open and I spoke to some rude lady on the phone and she told me my package was still at this location and I said I really don't mind picking it up. I arrive to the location to the rudest man name I can't remember how to spell l and I rather not be offensive and try but it started with a K. I avoid this P.O. as parking in poor at best, parking at the Dunning Square is not appreciated by the owners. I use the Giddings PO as parking is good, people are nice and service is generally good. We did a petition drive to get parking and service to this station, however after razing the neighboring funeral business, nothing inproved. It least they could have provided a drop box convienent to the driver such as the Jeff Park or Giddings station. Go to the Gidding station, 4 drop boxes and usually full by Monday. Needed a PO Box for our class reunion, used the Giddings station as at least I could retreave the mail!! read more

How about you get anti-theft WORKERS to deliver the mail?? Called to complain that a package did not arrive and conveniently 1 hour later the package arrived shoved in the mailbox. The package ripped open, all the paperwork missing, clothes missing and a bra that was inside out that was obviously tried on. YOU ARE GROSS. Then you want to say you are not held responsible which enables your employess to continue to do this. Awesome work ethic you choose to provide employment to. I come here every now and then when the mailman ends up not delivering my package when it's out for delivery and marks it for pick up because they don't feel like delivering it. I have security cameras and they just leave regular mail and never knock/ring the doorbell or come back. In any case there usually is a line and I have to wait around 20 minutes only to speak to very rude incompetent employees. I am getting sick of it and the service is only getting worse. This post office apparently never has any rolls of stamps! After complaining one time, the manager brought out a huge bag of rolls and gave some to me. They have rolls of stamps in the back yet never have any on the floor. I ask for rolls of stamps, and they offer me sheets of stamps. I always have problems when I come here. read more

These ladies could not have been more genuinely pleasant and kind! Stephanie phoned today to follow-up on some mail deliveries. Cynthia and another lady have been wonderful. And, there is a gentleman that is also helpful and wonderful. They do have difficulties when weather issues arise. Many carriers, all at one time will call in "sick". I never leave bad reviews... but this post office really deserves one. Not only do they hire people that do not know how to do their job, they hire people who make customers' come across issues that could've been avoided with properly trained and educated employees... I mean the woman couldn't even understand what was written on the passport form! If you are getting anything done with your passport DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you want them to give you incorrect information and make your passport process stressful. After having filled out the CORRECT form, I was told that I need a different one. When I tried to show the lady that I had filled out the correct one she responded with an attitude and made me feel stupid about filling out what she thought was an incorrect form.
