Imagine on a Saturday, coming into the USPS office with 7 boxes of media mail to be processed for shipping......My book 24 Chapters was released to to public and these books needed to go to their new homes. Mr. Ivan and Ms. Emily went straight to work, typing as fast as they could to process each envelope. Ms. Emily continued to work the line to keep the customers moving, but in between the customers, she was processing these envelopes for shipping. Mr. Ivan wore out one machine processing all these envelopes we had to move to another machine and we almost wore that one out too! Lollll. There were A LOT of labels being printed VERY quickly because of these to efficient and really kind employees here at this location. There was also another really nice lady who came to gather all the mail and also looked at the machines we had smoke coming out of.....again, just kidding about the smoke, but Mr. Ivan and Ms. Emily were shooting the labels out lightning fast. Between the two of them they were able to process all 7 boxes of media mail and keep the lines moving for all the other customers. These are amazing employees and humans! I GOT YELLED AT BY RHONDIE As of a day ago i went in to drop of my packages at the drop off counter which I normally do. (May i add that im a seller on a few selling apps so my buyers purchase items from my personal closet and pay for shipping. Lately my buyers hav been paying for the cheapest shipping which only covers for a certain amount of weight which some are not) Anyways so i drop off my packages grab 4boxes and i get yelled at "OKAY YEA NO COME OVER HERE" and its a worker named Rhondie (brown hair and glasses) with everyones eyes turned towards me i walk up to the drop off counter and she begins to explain to me about the weight on the packages. I honestly understand the issue with the package weight but i DID NOT appreciate being yelled at from across the room. That is not how you are suppose to talk to customers. I literally felt as if i was being scolded by one of my parents which she is not. I now take my packages elsewhere unless I completely have to go there. Thank you for reading:) read more

We buy antiques from a very competent and professional dealer in Modesto and she ships via USPS.... Due to total stupidity by the counter clerks at this post office our Priority Mail Two Day Delivery package took 3 times as long as promissed to reach us. Further the package was handled as parcel post when it was bar coded and paid for as Priority Mail 2 day delivery. Parcel Post has rougher handling and shipping delays which resulted in a vintage 135 year old bottle we bought being broken due to rough handling with other low priority heavy packages - when we paid for Priority Mail Two Day Service (see our photo). Another aspect of this is the USPS tries to cover it's mistakes; you will note our screen shot of the tracking on this item shows it is delayed but after it arrived in San Francisco five business days late (again for 2 day shipping) it was considered timely. We are lucky we made the screen shot to show you how the USPS trieds to hide their mistakes. Apparently what went wrong was the postal counter clerk did not add Priority Mail tags to the box as they should have so the handlers treated it as parcel post rather than what we psid for which is nothing short of neglience. read more

Ranting... I went to the Ceres Post Office Saturday to mail a package around 1:30 / 2:00pm the lady behind the counter said Next one in line, (my turn) Me trying to walk with Crutches! well needless to say my finger started bleeding and I was trying not to get blood on anything so I had asked for a tissue or something. But before I could get something it was dripping on the floor in several places! So I let her know this too, she went back to get someone but no one showed Up!! when I get up to the window I let her know that I have to change the package wrapping due to getting blood on it with a cut finger! She Rudely say oh really ok she never ask me one time can I help you with that, seeing me disabled, so I told her I would go elsewhere.. I was telling my daughter what happened over the phone call, and she ask was the lady short and dark haired? I said yes she was, that's when I found out the lady was very rude to her the day before! I hope she the lady at the p.o. Has Better days coming and to be Blessed and Happy for her job... The moral of the story was blood on the floor and no one bothered to clean it.. read more

Amazingly there were a good number of people working the counters. Pretty quick on the service which is unusual.

We ordered a switch for my daughter for Christmas the ups said they delivered it at 9 at night to are house it was never delivered nor was there proof of delivery we looked on are ring camera and no one ever showed up so no we have to file a clam and find out what they did with are packages great Christmas gift to us right read more

I had the worst experience at the Ceres Post office. I will never use their services again. I was beyond disappointed with their customer service. I went in with a pre shipping label which i have done a thousands times. Today, however, i was approached by the lead clerk Shannon. She stated that i had the wrong box but i explained to her that, i've never had any issues before. As the conversation between her and i went on she was very defensive and rude. I ask to speak to the surpervior Jackie, who did not bother to hear me out. They refused to take my package. Which was shocking but what was more shocking was their customer service and approach to this situation. At a time where the post service is competing with other shipping services, customer service should be a priority. Today because of this experience they lost a loyal customer. read more

I had a great experience here. While waiting in line, there was a staff person who went down the line, helping identify what people needed, super friendly. I had 5 boxes to send oversees, the staff loaned me a marker and helped me get the boxes to the window when it was available. Rondi was the person who helped me send all the boxes, she was excellent. Super friendly, and REALLY fast, for what she was doing. I had gone to UPS previously; the boxes would've cost three times as much, and they were going to make me identify each separate item in each box, with a value- ridiculous. I live in Modesto and decided to come to the Ceres PO thinking it would be less busy- I had an excellent experience. Staff is great here. read more

Been coming here for years. I love the friendly staff and atmosphere. They are very helpful. I have a po box here. They brag about how many packages i receive once in a while not in a bad way though lol. Well I recently lost a package and wasn't able to recover and have to pay for it. But this is the only time i had an issue, only time, so I'm hoping it doesn't happen again. Its not a big deal 181$ short lol. I truly love this place to pass this by. I've heard horror stories of the Denair post office so one time for me wont hurt. I recommend this post office for all your shipping needs they are very accurate. read more

If I could put negative stars I would. They're RIDICULOUS. They "delivered" my package supposedly while I was home and the only way I knew was because of my notifications on the package that I spent money for priority shipment for them to take over a week now to get my package and the driver to NOT EVEN BOTHER knocking on my door or ring the doorbell once. Just left a notice and walked away. Fucking ridiculous. Then the costumer service was super rude and was no help. Now I have to wait until after the holiday weekend to get it. And if it's even there. Picked up mail quickly.. cant say that for those sending out mail. Service is at small-town pace.

First time I mailed from there, I recieved the tracking note...said it would take 3 days...it arrived at friend's house in Hayward, Ca the next day...fast on shipping! But, half the time they only have 1 clerk working..so it is not convenient for those in a hurry. Staff is very friendly. read more

Charge $3 to use the computer even just to print one item for 50 cents. Also charge for internet access of an item to print. Hate this place. read more
