Used to come here years ago when it seemed like the only post office in the city. I needed ONE stamp and stood in line at least 20 min. There was one person working the counter and she was slow!! I hate that there isn't any stamp machines in the entryway like there used to be. read more

This location is without a doubt the worst post office! Walked in to ask for the whereabouts of my package, neither did the teller or Anthony, "manager" were able to track my package!! What is the purpose of a tracking#???!!???!? And I'm still waiting on Anthony's call!!! In addition, those receptionist who answer those phones are even worse, starting with Lisa, if that's even her real name. I dialed that number 5x asking for help, and all they did was place me on hold which then led to a hang-up. Spoke with the station manger and she placed me hold which followed with a hang-up. That facility employs incompetent, miserable, unhappy staff who lack customer service skills!! Worthless! Never again will I walk into that facility! read more

Carson California is the worst distribution center in United States. Every time I mailed something to Northern California except in Ko'sin for three or four days. Something needs to be done. It should not take 7 to 10 days for a package or letter to get from Phoenix Arizona to Oakland California. And the reason being is because it is sitting in Carson. read more

20 minute wait today, 4 windows 1 clerk. 2 clerk's must've took a designated union break while the line went out the door to the hallway. What I found amazing is the fkn morons who come up to the clerks window with the unpacked items asking what type of box or package to use. USE A FKN BOX THAT'LL FIT. THEN BRING IT UP TO THE FKN WINDOW! Are you stupid or is this thr first time you've ever shipped a fkn thing? then the clerk tells them to pack it then come back to same window cutting in front of awaiting customers! Thr APC is the best machine to use, but the people that frequent this place are just way too fkn stupid to use the machine. Priority mails is null and void during the Christmas season . Believe that. read more

you cannot pick up a package here. i tried to get it a day willer that the delivery date but they said it can only be delivered. then later that day the package went up to los angeles Distribution center. that's 20 miles further than this place. no wonder they Are losing millions of dollars every year read more

On Friday my Wife needed to get some important documents out and she ran to this post office, it was 5 on the dot when she got there and she was about to start crying since it closes at 5. She looked at the lady locking the door and asked her please to open the door to her, the woman did and allowed my wife to sent these documents out that needed to be dated by Friday. Just want to make a shout out to this post office and employee my wife said was named Maria for helping us out and not locking the door in my wife's face. read more

Every time I come here I get great service which surprises me as to why the rating is so low. I like to come into any establishment smiling and giving warm energy because that's what I would like to receive in return. Majority of the time I already have my packages labeled so I drop them off but if I do have to wait to speak with someone they're helpful. read more

I wish I could give this post office a zero but you can't, the customer service is horrible. I just hate to have to come here.

My go to packaging supply (free shipping box) and delivery service (cheap). Close to house so that's convenient. Come here almost every day to drop off package from my side hustle. read more

my package has been at this post office with the status of "arrived at usps facility" for 4 business days! more than likely I won't be getting my package, they got a thief working at this location. Judging by how many bad reviews there are and how many of peoples packages don't get to them it's more than likely mine got stolen. read more

This place is the worst. Customer service is non existent. Supervisors are not at at explaining information. Jeff is garbage. Delisa is garbage. Just wanted my mail but because I'm a renter and my drivers license doesn't match up with my mail I couldn't get it. Have time false information and a complete run around. I'm a good person but I lost it with them today. read more

If I could give a ZERO or a negative score I would. Purely worst customer service. Queues are always long with only one or two person accommodating the clients. Managers simply ignore escalated requests and/or phone calls. And for this visit they lost my DIPLOMA. Worst post office ever. read more

If i could give no stars i would. Went to this post office and inquired about my missing package for a week. The manager keeps insisting that all packages get scanned right away and did not want to check the mailbox. He also keeps on telling me to check the tracking online even if I am already showing it to him. He also claims that all mail are being scanned from LA and not over there. How can LA scan it if I dropped it at their facility? ‍ I am a reseller so I know how this works but he is making me look like i do not know anything. If you're package is missing and you dropped it off here, don't waste your time talking to the manager because he won't help you one bit and will let you look like a dumbass. Checking the mailbox only takes a minute instead of wasting your time trying to explain what you do not know. ‍ I always go here because of the nice attitude they have but the manager is not one of them. read more

So I hear USPS is going broke, or that it actually is already broke and running on a deficit? Well, that is unfortunate as I've always had nice mailmen/women during my life in the US. However I've been to a few post offices and never been impressed (a-hem this one is no exception). I hear social security is going broke...I hear medicare is going broke...I hear the federal government hasn't passed a budget in over 3 years... What's next? read more

I'm so pissed off. And I don't even know where to start. People want police to start wearing chest cameras? Well I want these people here to wear chest cameras. They opened my package before delivering it. Seriously? It would be nice if In the tracking the put the people who inspect your packages names, or at least stamp it across the package. Cause I would like to know how and open card made it to my front door step without falling out? Seems to me that whoever delivered it may have opened it on my porch and put it in the box. Either way the everyone's looking for a way to fix your shitty service. Why is it so hard not to steal from people? Like really your already making a paycheck, you seriously have to steal from people who work hard to buy these things that your taking. GO FUCK YOUR SELF. read more

US Post Office - Someone here likes to open the mail before they deliver it. Fucking low lives. Seriously? This is bullshit. - Post Offices Near Me - Carson, California

The mail carrier stole my package in front of my face , and said it was delivered . I was waiting for my package as the carrier load the mail into the boxes. I waited until she was finished so she can put the packages inside the boxes. Instead of loading the packages, she placed it in her front seat and drove off! As soon as she reached the gate, she marked it as delivered! read more

Worst post office, i mailed two packages and they never scanned it!!! Now my buyer is asking for a refund and my package is missing. How lazy can they be?? Seriously, take your package in the front counter and have them scan it even if its prepaid. Last time I did that the filipino guy got mad saying why dont i just drop it off at the box. This is the reason why, you guys lost my $200 package!!! Laziest post office. Either someone is stealing the packages or what. I'm contacting management read more

Grouchy. Am I talking about the employees? Not necessarily. Even the patrons are uber grouchmonsters here. See a parking spot? Grab it quick before some jackhole steals it from right in front of you. Will they care that you will be standing right next to them in two minutes? Probably not, because people like that don't tend to think into the future more than five or ten seconds...one of the key reasons their lives are in a constant state of shambles. As far as the workers? A perfect analogy from one of Alan Jackson's songs comes to mind, "...passes like molasses in wintertime..." This so aptly describes the employees. And do they care about doing a good job or helping you? Pretty much no. Mostly because they will never get in trouble for it, no matter what they do short of assaulting you. Well that won't happen anyways since this location has a bullet-proof glass counter. Sadly they pretty much do whatever they want. Ugh! It's not all bad though. There are a few employees who actually want to do a good job and will take the time to help you. Just pray that you run into one of them. Of course you should be nice to both the friendly and unfriendly employees so you can actually get your business done and get the heck out of there! I see arguments almost every visit between patrons and the staff, which only exacerbates getting anything done for them (and everyone ELSE waiting in line behind them!). read more

Just wanted to let everyone know -Theres drive by drop boxes on the 213th Street pass the actual parking lot. Saves time and we always use it. I've only went in once a few years ago to renew my passport, it was fine, I didn't have a problem. Not a long wait, the lady that helped me was very accommodating. She was sweet and informative, as well. I did help that I was there right before they opened the doors and was 3rd in line. read more

This post office is really close to my house and that's why it's the one i go to most often. Never thought a post office could suck so many balls until I came to this one. To cut to the chase, this USPS SUCKS! As a poor grad student, I decided to sell some of my textbooks that I never read to make some small pocket money. So when I make a sale, I have to ship the book out. I figured I didn't need delivery confirmation. None of my friends ever had shipping problems with their post office and they never purchased delivery confirmation. Surely, I thought, the Carson post office will not cause my problems. BOOM! I THOUGHT WRONG! Out of 15 things i shipped, they lost 2 of my packages. Are you freaking kidding me? How hard is it to do your goddamn job? And it's not like i shipped those items out for free! I paid for shipping! I had to refund the buyers which means I lost money in the end. Carson post office is unreliable and terribly slow. If you need to ship out anything, make sure you purchase delivery confirmation or they might lose it. Thanks for making me lose money and hurting my seller ratings, douchebags. read more

Carson Post Office - you suck!!! I wonder how you get more than just one star? Your operating hours are Mon-Fri. from 8.30-5.00, which regular working person can make it during that time tot he Post Office?? We all have to work to be able to buy stamps. And when we have time, for example on a Saturday, you are closed!! WTF?? The line is almost out the front door, today I had again at least 20 people in front of me, the service is slow, and there are not enough windows open to handle the amount of people standing in line and to provide a service to us - the customers!!! It takes always 20 minutes just to get to the window. And I am not even talking about the parking outside, like the guy did before me, man your parking situation sucks too!!! I try to avoid this post office as much as I can. read more

The parking is horrible at this location. You have to wait 5 minutes to park your car, and then you have to wait 15 minutes in line to see a clerk. They also do passport services here, so that's one less clerk to help out the line. I've only ever received standard Post Office service here, which is usually considered slightly rude anywhere else. If you'd just like to drop something off in a mailbox, skip the parking and keep driving about 50 yards down 213th. They have some drive-thru bins available where you just drive up, lower you window, and dump your mail into the mailbox -- quite convenient when you just need to drop off small pieces of mail that already have postage. read more

Paid for 2 day delivery only for the delivery to fail because the person delivering the package "had no access to mailbox" the post office has a key that gives them access. They didn't even try. I was waiting 12 hours as it was out for delivery only for them to be lazy when delivering. This has happened multiple times and they need to pick up their game. I mean most USPS facilities have 1-2 star ratings. I'm just waiting for a change.. seriously read more

I'm sad. I recently moved out here to Carson from LA and this USPS makes me think about all the bad things I did in life. I'm not here to make a comparison; because really /ALL/ USPS facilities have their faults, but this one in particular makes me super-duper mad and irritated. so far, I been here twice. once to send a package and another to pick up a package. sending the package was a breeze, I'll give them that. it was a pretty easy process and the only complaint I have is on myself, I should always remember to bring a Sharpie and/or pen and remember to get tracking for my packages I send. then again, the person on the other side didn't ask me if I wanted tracking so what the heck!! receiving the package I had for pick up though... was NOT a breeze. this isn't necessarily /this/ USPS's fault, but it took a month to get my package from the Netherlands to here in Carson. I've had packages from there be sent to me many times and this is the longest I had to wait. I also had to wait about 10 minutes at the window because they were looking for it. I'm not a patient person. I thought they lost it, but when I explained that it was wrapped in red wrapping paper, they found it instantaneously. they brought it back and I saw that they totally wrecked my package!! it was supposed to be wrapped neatly, but the wrapping paper was absolutely torn. again, I don't think this is necessarily their fault but next time PLEASE take better care of packages. there was also supposed to be a card attached to it and they totally lost the card... sigh. I also really hate how they are not open on Saturday and past 5 pm. so inconvenient. they also don't pick up their phone when you call their number. even more inconvenient. read more

Package was suppose to be delivered on Saturday. Whoever had my package said they came to the house and tried to deliver it but no one was home. EVERYONE WAS HOME THE WHOLE DAY and they said they left a notice. THERE WAS NO NOTICE TO BE FOUND. Came in today and they don't know where my package is. Really !? The only good side is the Asian lady was trying to find it and she said she'll call me today to follow up where it is. I hope she does that package cost me a lot of money. Whoever says they tried to deliver my package is one hell of a lazy worker and at least leave a damn notice slip. read more

I've given this location several tries, however I've yet to have a positive experience. My bar is not that high for the USPS so in all honesty, making me happy wouldn't take much. The line here is long (at least 10 deep) almost very time I come to this location. It seems that time of day doesn't make a difference. I can't seem to find a slow time here. Having an employee who helps customers who need a quick transaction might be helpful - many of the other post offices do this. The staff is very hit or miss. Some are very friendly and some are horribly rude. There is no automates machine or container to drop off larger packages. You must do everything at the window which may the issue here. Going to a different location may be a better idea. I will only come here if I have absolutely no other choice. read more

This post office is known for losing packages, or just simply saying your package hasn't made it to their post office at all. I almost always have someone else's mail in my own, and that's ridiculous. Who is ever sorting the mail needs to really pay attention, that could be very important mail someone needs. It could be MY important mail going to someone else's box as well. read more

I come to this location a lot since it's near my work; the service has never been great, and really long lines. The lady was so grateful to her, and it was nice to she some friendly employees here finally. read more
