This US Post Office is located on Frampton Ave in Harbor City. On the midweek late afternoons that I have been here, there are parking spaces either in their own lot or plenty of street parking. At most there have been maybe 5 or 6 patrons in line ahead of me and the clerks have been good about moving the lines along. The number of clerks available have varied from two to four. Most of them were polite or pragmatic personality types. My recent transaction was a purchase of Forever stamps and the SpongeBob ones caught my eye. I also shipped a package out of state which was already confirmed received by the recipient just a few days from the date/time shipped. Overall this US Post Office is A-OK. read more

Consistently on Saturdays this post office does not deliver to businesses and just puts cannot deliver business is closed. Which is a lie because my business is open (doors wide open, gates open) and I get unable to deliver because business is closed and I am there. No postal truck is driving down the street at that time or earlier. They just don't attempt at all. So why lie? Just try on Monday but don't say out for delivery on Saturday when you don't even go drive by the place it is supposed to be delivered at! If I had an option to choose another type of delivery service, I would. USPS is not something I would ever choose! read more

Mail pickup from my home didn't pick up small bubble envelope from the mail outgoing rack, clearly visible. I had to run it out, and the mail woman confirmed that this kind could be scanned. There is room for improvement, especially after they returned a prepaid business mail package without scanning it. That nearly went as a sales mark against my permanent record. Maybe they're not in the habit of scanning packages (having to get out scanner, etc) and/or it's extra work? Going forward, I wouldn't trust them with important business packages unless I scan it at the post office front desk. Maybe that means those who don't want to scan have by force won against their customers. read more

This post office is a little hidden if you are not familiar with Harbor City, CA. There is very few customers no matter the time of day I go here. Staff are friendly and eager to help, unlike some other post offices I've been to in the Southbay. Ample street parking and in the parking lot. There are 2 drop boxes outside the building that you could easily drive up to. I love that I get and out pretty swiftly. read more

I have been to this post office a couple of times now. I have no personal experience with any of the workers here so, I can't say anything about the customer service. I've only dropped off prepaid packages. It has a parking lot and street parking, as well. In the front, there's convenient 15 minute parking in green, which is nice! I'm a fan of this location. My favorite thing is when you enter, it has automatic doors, which I think is super cool. I also like that it's semi-hidden. It's not on a busy street or a busy shopping center. read more

This has been the worst experience sending over documents to Ecuador. Never again will I be shipping anything with USPS. I know they have a bad wrap but this just confirms their incompetence, no wonder no one has confidence sending anything with them. Don't bother using them. I shipped it on June 20th and its already July 7th without no tracking or knowing where my documents are. They are the worst!! NEVER AGAIN!! read more

It would be nice if this office would PICK UP SCHEDULED packages. I have a business to run, and this is a service that is very much appreciated. I've tried to be nice and not complain but I have had to report to the office, they don't really seem to care. I also called the national number. This office should pick up packages when scheduled. You are just being lazy and don't want to make a short walk to pick up the packages!!!!! IT IS RIDICULOUS. Please do your job. Also when I schedule a pick up online.....uou respond to my request saying the packages are picked up. Really?!?!?! Not so when I have them STILL sitting on my porch. And when I take them into the office I say "here are the packages you picked up according to the email" and then you ask ME are they scanned?!!??! LMAO They cannot be scanned when that is YOUR job to do. SO I am here now....you can scan them in front of my face since I've brought them to you. I did most of your job for you. Anyway....you get the point. Not so great. DO Better. There is no rating for this place but I have to choose at least ONE star. read more

The sign says your lobby hours are open till 7 p.m., but I have stopped by several times around 6 p.m.. to drop off a pkg and the doors are already closed. Keep LOBBY doors open till 7 p.m. or change sign. Called this office several times (phone number not easy to locate) and tried to speak with someone about this and the phone just rings and rings, then hangs up. Been coming here for years. It's not the ideal post office, one of the female employees that works the counter always seems miserable and I've never seen her smile. The only reason I continue to go here is that they have the shortest lines. read more

This office is one of the few actual post offices that I frequent. I like it because it's small, which means that usually the traffic flow is pretty good, since it's tucked in a neighborhood. Service can get pretty slow at times, though the service at the front counters has been decent. The employees tend to have a decent attitude, which I can certainly appreciate. Usually when I have to go in, there are either a few people in front of me or no one. I've never stood in line for too long. The parking lot is tiiiiiiny! There are maybe 5 spaces; that should tell you how compact this post office is. There is street parking, but that can be an interesting feat, depending on how busy the surrounding businesses are, as their customers and even those living in the neighborhood also park in the street. They have post office boxes in their lobby and their lobby is open for you to access your box, buy stamps, and also drop mail in the slots, even if the main area is closed. read more

The new supervisor is absolutely outstanding! I used to dread coming to this place but time only allowed me this location. Her bubbly personality is the best employee attitude that I have seen since Covid. I'm impressed in a good way. I hope the desk workers can learn to mimic her attitude and work ethic. My only regret is that her employees don't allow me time to select the "PRINT & EMAIL" option after I pay. so I have something in my email 2 follow up with. read more

My regular mail carrier, Sunny, is great, but whenever he takes a day off or on vacation, my mail is either delivered to my neighbor or not delivered at all. I get daily informed delivery emails and I was expecting 3 pieces of mail that day (1 that was important). I have a security camera in front of my house and was waiting all day, kept checking my mailbox in case I missed the motion detection. Nothing. When I asked Sunny the next day, he said he had the day off so I went to file a complaint. Supervisor Millie said she would investigate and call me by the end of day and never did. I was hoping whoever received my mail would walk it over to my house (which I do all every time I get someone else's mail) but it's been 3 weeks and nothing. read more

Just when you think the service is ok! Smh they let you down, loose your mail, put someone else mail in your mailbox! Ok postmaster- revaluation testing is past due! This really isn't that bad of a post office. I'm not sure why all that horrible reviews. I've been hearing number of times and the people working behind the counter are really pretty friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. align does seem to build up pretty long but I don't think it's the fault of the people working here I think it's just a small post office and there aren't that many people that actually work here. There's never more than two people Staffing the desk. Although the parking can get crowded there's never really too crowded a time to go. read more

Wondering why we have a postal service at all any more. Let just de-fund them and give the money to UPS or amazon- people who can do the jobbed be accountable. This location repeatedly cant seem to forward mail to the post box I pay for because I cannot longer trust the USPS, nor can they hold mail properly nor can they tell me what where my package with a tracking number is. In order to try and deflect onto me, they imply that an old forwarding address is causing the problem, but then how was the mail coming to my house for the last four months? Obviously that isnt the problem, but anything to blame the customer. read more

My husband and I were in a bind as we were waiting on some very important immigration documents that we needed. We got notification that the documents were going to be returned to sender because my name was not recognized as a resident at my address. We went to the post office to intercept the letter not knowing whether we could or if it had left. The Postmaster Neil was so helpful and kind, and he went above and beyond to help us find the letter at the office. We were so thankful! read more

Mail carriers don't have a set schedule and it is so annoying! I have been in this area for almost 8 years and it's always been like that. They're not friendly at all. They don't greet. Even if I greet them first they barely respond. They're not careful with mail that is fragile or shouldn't be "bent" I'm only giving it two stars instead of one because the ones at the actual post office (at the register) are nice for the most part. read more

I havent had bad experiences so far but felt compelled to leave a positive review. I had someone drop some return packages but 1 was for UPS. my fault. I called and all I was told was they didnt see it and it was possibly given to UPS driver. I thought to myself I should consider my losses and move on. It was my mistake. I was pleasantly surprised when the retailer confirmed receipt and processed my return. For some reason I wasn't able to see any tracking with UPS so was not expecting a happy ending read more

If I can deduct stars I would. I wish you could. First, I had a package get re routed to an entirely different zip code ( their fault address was correct... after running errands and doing everything else while being on hold with customer service) it immediately gets delivered and guess what it's broke??? Ok, whatever I got it taken care of. Then I had another package says it was delivered yet it's not there and I don't have it so...I guess it just got up and walked off my porch. I dunno, anyway if your packages ever get stolen just take the L because they are not going to help you. O then I called to try and make a " claim" that was a joke dude who picked up was like let me research it I will call you back in 5-10 minutes. That was 3 days ago...I dunno what's going on but they need help until then I'll just redirect my stuff read more

Not necessarily the worst post office ever, but if there was any way I could avoid going I would do that even if it included pulling a nail out of my own finger. Completely agree Lisa Z! The parking lot... what were they thinking? Certainly not entering, leaving or parking... they are slow slow slow... the hours not convenient for anyone with a job... and sadly, they can't deliver either... I can't count the number of times I have called to complain about misdirected mail, my credit card statements and checks delivered to neighbors (who leave it on the step (checks) or toss it over the fence (sprinklers)... having my mail box stuffed with junk mail I have called to stop (cancelled at the source) but the post offices adds (no address on it) no matter how often I tell them No... I probably average three pieces of mail a week that should have gone to neighbors (I have had a stamp made "please forward to correct address"). And, three times have been left notices there is something I need to sign for, take time from work to go the post office and be told there is nothing there... I'm sure one was my winning check from Publisher Clearing House.... how can they write a notice I have something so important I have to show ID and then not have something for me? Though once, note said it was from the IRS (quaking), and it turned out it was not for me but for my neighbor, I showed ID, clerk went to get the letter (note, she looked at my ID and went to get the letter that did not have my name or address on it) when she handed it to me (uh huh) I read it and said "this is not mine" ... she argued with me, demanding to see my ID again, demanding I take the mail that was not mine... Some day I will find Rod Serling behind the counter... read more

Package said delivered but no package at 9am. Probably put it in the incorrect unit box. 2nd time. Headache.

Sooo, while I was out of the country a package was sent for delivery. I got an email saying I missed it. I went to look at delivery options to see if a family member could pick it up. No luck. I scheduled redelivery for 10/1/18. Sat around all day --no delivery and no regular mail. I called the customer service numver waited for over an hr to be told to call the local office. I call and someone answers asking to put me in hold. I was in hold for 2 minutes, asked how can they help I stated the general information-- no name, no address, no tracking number before being interrupted by the person saying "Give me a second to look into it." As I hear an Iphone ringing in the background and then they hang up. I called back 4 more times three times the call is answered with silence before hanging up. I'm going to walk in there now because clearly they fail to realize that their job is to get me my packages and mail ON TIME. I'm losing out on a nonrefundable deposit as I need the package to make my appointment today at 11... its 1130. read more

I live near by and go to this location often, usually i deal with the older black lady or the tall white man, but lately Ive had encounters with the over weight man and ED. ED was texting while i was talking to him, when i ask about tape, i ask for some tape and he said they dont give tape anymore, I needed a piece of tape for a small package, he snatched the label that i was purchasing out of my hand. I kept my composure, i did not want to treat him like he did me. Its ridiculous that i go there to support the business and get treated like crap.
