several patrons and I have been waiting since before 8:30 am for the inner lobby to be opened to drop mail in the lobby mailbox. It is now 9:08 am and no one has come to unlock the door to the lobby. Please bring back the Drive through for Disabled folks of which our city has a very large Senior population of which I am part of and Disabled! Get it together USPS! This PO was the closest to my work location as I needed postage stamps (for work). Parking lot is a pretty good size and there was plenty of parking available when I went around noon. I was the only customer in line and I hadn't purchased postage stamps in years and asked the clerk how many booklets can 100.00 buy lol. She was efficient and answered me cordially but wasn't very friendly (more robotic like). read more

Im so irritated with this location. I sent a birthday card over a month ago!! I just happened to be close to this location- so I went inside and put it in the slot to mail. I love the self-service machine when it works... Came here today and waited in line for a receipt since the machine wasn't working. I tried for a good 2 minutes. When it came to my turn, the guy came with me to help me at the machine and thought I was just scanning the wrong barcode. The touch screen didn't work at all. He ended up taking my package back to his window and giving me a receipt there. Good customer service, and the line goes quickly most times I've been here. I just hate the setup of the one way parking and the fact that it's a struggle to get out and go in the direction of my house. I would rate this location negative five if I could. By far the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I just wanted to drop off a prepaid package and this middle-aged to elderly Asian/ Filipino man who works at the last window (didn't catch his name, and most likely he would not have given it to me, even if I asked) gave me so much unnecessary trouble. I went today, 9.8.2021 around 10:55 - 11:05a.m. and mind you, it wasn't packed. I wish he would put that much energy into his actual job and work more efficiently rather than give good paying customers grief about dropping off a prepaid package. I usually drop off packages at the designated drop off mail slot but my package was too big and it didn't fit. I wish more people cared about their job, and clearly, this man does not care about his job. GOOD HELP IS HARD TO FIND! I would strongly encourage USPS to train their employees to be kind and courteous to customers instead of yell at them. This employee was extremely rude and needs to learn manners. read more

This branch of USPS are lazy and inconsiderate. We have a box in our area for all the residents. The carrier leaves packages on the floor for anyone to pick up and WILL fraudulently sign as handed to resident or C Covid. Amazon, UPS, and FedEX deliver packages to the door. I have friends that work at USPS at other locations and they even state they shouldn't be leaving packages in this manner. So what's up with the laziness? read more

USPS is making 2020 a Bah, Humbug experience. Due to Covid-19 I did much of my shopping on the internet. Previously I have always had a very positive experience. Unfortunately as of a couple of months ago USPS is broken. On December 5, 2020 I bought a Christmas stuffed moose for my grandson. It wasn't a major part of his present but just meant to bring a smile to a dreary year. The moose was identical to his favorite baby stuffed animal. To this day the original one still sits on top his dresser as the years have made the stuffed animal a tad on the fragile side due to wear and tear. So when I located it's twin I knew it would bring a smile to his face. The purchase was made on December 4, 2020. It arrived at the Apple Valley, CA Post Office on December 6. As of December 11, 2020 it has been sitting at the Carson, CA USPS Processing Center. From that date forward it has been stuck. It didn't make it to Shelbyville, KY in time to be included with my Christmas presents that were being shipped to NC. Normally I would send my package via USPS but because I have purchases sitting at different USPS locations throughout the USA I decided to ship my package with presents via UPS. read more

This location works really well for me since it's in the area. I've been many times but only needed assistance a few trips and was helped out, maybe not with smiles on their faces, but got done what I needed. The self service kiosk when working is a treat so I don't have to stand in line, 1-2 times the kiosk was not operational which led to a headache. It pays to learn how USPS works and saves a ton on shipping if you just buy postage and print labels from home. On the other hand, the mail carriers from this location that deliver to my door have been outstanding and always courteous when I thank them for my mail. It's a tough job that I couldn't or wouldn't want to do, so them doing their job is much appreciated. read more

Worst costumer service I have ever experienced when I haven't received my delivery and I called the Usps customer service , A lady answered the call at 4:19 pm today(August 14), I can't hear the name very clearly and she spoke very fast and the tone she spoke is impolite. She treated me like a shit.: She had me waited twice when I wanted talking and she played the waiting music and even haven't said excuse her she got something to do. I have consistently received great service from the postal staff through every season irregardless of the time of day or week. I was in Carson doing some errands --- one having to do with returning a package as well as looking for one that had not yet arrived. I felt there was NO "meeting of the minds" as I could not comprehend her explanations regarding my concerns/questions hence I asked if I could deal with someone else. With so much disregard to genuine helpfulness and disrespect towards their customers, I cannot in good faith give them more than 1 star. 1 star is, in my book, being extremely generous. I had a very important package coming internationally and had the unfortunate luck for it to be processed in this facility before being sent to my city. It stayed in this black hole of an establishment for 2 weeks before moving. And I am considered lucky because if you ask around, there were people who waited much longer. Longest I've seen is around 40-45 days. The African-American lady in her 50s working the window was the rudest person ever, the first thing out of her mouth was "you have no clue what you're doing" and once done practically threw the change at us. Put a vacation hold for my family's mail recently--all mail is on hold at the post office until whatever date requested. Went to go pick up the mail when we got back just to find out they never held the mail and overfilled our mailbox. Who knows what mail could be missing. I had a great experience at this post office. I arrived a few minutes before they close with a dozen parcels, and the self service scanner was not working. An employee, Jonathan, took the packages and scanned them and gave me the receipt at 5:10 pm. They close at 5pm. Above and beyond the call of duty! read more

Every single post office Ive been to is a nightmare, period. I only go when I absolutely HAVE to. Usually it's for picking up packages, which isn't usually a hassle. I wait in line a bit, someone from behind the glass windows ask if someones picking up packages eventually, I pick up my packages, and I leave. There are those very few (thank goodness) times that I really have to go in to mail something, and that's usually an issue for me only because the person (it's always someone different) isn't being very helpful or doesn't like when I have questions to clarify that I'm sending my packages/mail properly. Honestly, just sedate me or something if i ever have to come here or any post office for that matter. I wish the Postal Service didn't hire such grumpy people. We hate being there as much as they do, I'm sure, so it doesn't help when they want to give everyone an attitude about everything. read more

Not sure if anyone reads these but I have to note that the ladies are have the absolute worst service! They don't even let you speak before that start restricting you with all their "rules". I was in a rush for next day shipment and was in need of a box, I didn't show up with one because I was hoping to have some guidance as to which one would be the best option. Instead she kept saying that my shipment "needed a to and return label". DUH I don't think anyone is that incompetent, but she would even give me the time to ask. By the time I tried figuring it out on my own asking for vices that I realized that had in the back, but by the time I got them to listen to me I had missed my deadline. There really is just no common curtsy or customer service at all. Very sad; as this was my go-to usps store near my warehouse. Carson California is the worst distribution center in United States. Every time I mailed something to Northern California except in Ko'sin for three or four days. Something needs to be done. It should not take 7 to 10 days for a package or letter to get from Phoenix Arizona to Oakland California. And the reason being is because it is sitting in Carson. read more

This location is without a doubt the worst post office! Walked in to ask for the whereabouts of my package, neither did the teller or Anthony, "manager" were able to track my package!! What is the purpose of a tracking#???!!???!? And I'm still waiting on Anthony's call!!! In addition, those receptionist who answer those phones are even worse, starting with Lisa, if that's even her real name. I dialed that number 5x asking for help, and all they did was place me on hold which then led to a hang-up. Spoke with the station manger and she placed me hold which followed with a hang-up.
