Once again, i came to our hometown Banning Post Office with a request for postage. I needed 150 $2.17 stamps to mail a report to our clients. About the delivery person something's they do. They throw the boxes literally throw them . I was Mark my package is delivered and once I set a claim to it then all the sudden they show up in a day or two. I was put the boxes and a wide open so they can get stolen which they have before because I even put a planter in front of my front door so no people won't show it. They will put it in front of it not even close to my door. Even Miss delivery twice and says house on accessible to deliver last time I checked my house didn't move still in the same spot. I still have the same front door just horrible customer service. It's not even about the customer service because they don't do customer service. they just deliver. The boxes is how they're doing things . I wish I can give zero stars. read more

Our community mailbox was destroyed a couple months ago and we called USPS to get a new one installed. So far nothing has been done so we're forced to get mail from the Banning Post Office until it's replaced. This post office has the most ridiculous hours of operation ever. I WORK from 8am-5pm M-F in Riverside, so there's NO WAY I can get my mail while they are open (8:30am-4:30pm M-F). I literally have to take time off work to get my mail. It's insane. I have had multiple instances where they don't give me all the packages I'm expecting. I get home, find that some items that show as delivered aren't there, call and they confirm that it's still in the post office - so I have to drive back a SECOND time. I feel so bad for anyone that uses this post office regularly, it really should have its hours expanded for people that have to work. read more

When you call this post office, everything is automated, so you can never ask anyone questions about packaging questions or anything else.

They do not answer their phone! You can let it ring fifty times! They are not picking up mail on a regular basis!! My mail has not bern picked up or delivered for two days now!! This has happened many times and I put in a complaint twice now with the main 800 number! read more

Used to have same mail delivery person for years, no problems. Now there has been few different individuals delivering the mail. I had several times neighbors mail in my box so I had taken the mail to right address. My Waste Management bill never arrived, just wonder if my neighbors had received, but never bothered to bring it to me. Ended up getting double payment because the payment was missed. read more

I am complaining about incompetence with delivery of a package to an address in the city of Banning. The tracking number is 9500110681523128556363 I sent a package with tracking but they failed to deliver. Tracking information said "no such number." Well, now I have the package back on my hand. So we're just coming back from checking our mail. My wife ordered some expensive reusable containers for her breast pump which we knew had been delivered. Whoever delivered it was so lazy that they shoved the package into our mailbox clearly knowing it was too small for the mail box. We had to completely rip the box open to remove the containers because we were not able to remove it out of the mail box. So not only are we not able to return the containers if we need to, but something could be wrong with the containers since the mail carrier is incompetent and shoved a big box into a small box. Maybe this position requires a little more training because obviously these people have no common knowledge! This is just the most recent situation, as there have been many others. read more

This Post Office is insanely disappointing for the community and the businesses! They deliver mail when they can and if they don't have enough time according to the lady on the phone, they will finish the next day. I got told they are under staff but that has been going on for about 6 years! I have made several complaints to the Post Office and their supervisors, nothing gets done. We own a business and depend on the daily mail and we have had to hunt the mailman in order to get our mail and packages at times. Packages from Amazon state that the USPS makes the attempt to deliver and no one is at the property. That is completely FALSE!. We look back at our cameras and not only do they not make the attempt, but they also do not come at all. They just stated that they are under staff and that after the election it will get better, but what about the other years when there is no election? I will be making a complaint to the Postal Regulatory Commission. Maybe they can help because no one in that office is willing to step it up and do something about it. Seriously ridiculous post office!! I bought my new house up in a nice neighborhood where we have locked mail boxes. 4 time since August I haven't received my packages. I call finally yesterday to get some help with this on going problem. I gave the lady my address and the tracking number and she says I will call you back in a few mins after I track your package. One of the workers, Charlie, is the absolute rudest. He's very disrespectful & is always extremely grumpy. Has made me feel very uncomfortable on multiple occasions about my outgoing mail & packages. Would definitely rather drive an extra 5 miles to the cabazon location! While mail delivery to my home is great, mail often doesn't make it on to the mail carrier's truck. I continuously have mail addressed to my home returned to the sender by the post office marked "addressee unknown". Any attempt to complain or correct the situation with staff at the post office it met with a shrug. I also have a PO Box at the Banning office. I once wanted to have my mail forwarded for two months while I was on vacation. Instead of forwarding my mail, they closed my PO box and marked all of my mail return to sender. The staff at the office are incompetent and have no understanding of customer service. If you need something important to get somewhere, use Federal Express. Dont bother to speak with the PostMaster...she isn't interested! If you have time on your hands (at least 45 minutes) you can try to get someone at the USPS 800 number. read more

This is to review the actual mail men or women, I have never been into this post office and have no reviews regarding those employees. I have had several packages that have been lost or delivered to the wrong address since I moved to banning last year. I wish this was a one time issue, but it is prevalent here. I live in a neighborhood where the mail is delivered into a set of lockers that are designated for my home and the neighborhoods around me. I have had one incident in the past, in another city, where this issue was corrected, and they admitted they had used non-mail carriers to to the job for them. They delivered my packages and apologized and never used a non mail carrier again. I called in to the banning office to complain, and the manager seemed annoyed by me, a customer, who was missing packages. I told him that this has happened a few times, but he offered to assistance because he said he would call back with information, and NEVER did. He just did not care. I have had another package missing last week. I ordered a baby bottle, that was marked as delivered, but it was not delivered to my parcel locker. I am having a hard time believing that I am the only customer with this issue. There should be more. Whomever is delivering to my area is doing a horrible job. I am tired of complaining, when nothing is done to resolve. There should be a zero stars option, because it is well deserved for this particular situation. read more

Why is it that most of the time, I do NOT receive "Grocery Store Ad Papers". On the rare occasion when I do receive them they are many days late. This problem has been going on for many months. I am disabled and on a fixed income. Also my Mother, in her 80's relies on these ads, as we try to make only one shopping trip weekly. read more

Banning post office does not put small parcels in the parcel lockers of the MBU, even if they would fit. They make you go to the P..O to get them. read more

I pick up packages here all the time. They are left for me to pick up. The woman who calls herself the "post master" is rude. And will repeat that she is the post master numerous times when I try to pick up a package. She has refused me my packages, when many other times I pick them up without a slip. The boxes even say, "pick up only". Not to mention she always has the doorbell off. I have to knock hard and she comes out with an attitude. I don't understand how she's the post master. One time even the outside doors were locked. And they open at 6a.m for easier access to those not available during their hours of operation. This day many people were outside waitting. We even called the office with no luck. Banning post office deserves bettter treatment. I pay a lot of taxes and dont deserve this type of treatment. She doesnt deserve this position. Someone trying to enforce her position on the Banning community. Very disappointed. If she treats the community this way, can't imagine how she treats her staff.
