The shop owner let the couple have all the copies and envelopes he had provided them for free, then gave them directions to a nearby place that had a later UPS pickup time. THAT is the sort of personal, generous customer service that will make this my go-to mailing place.

One scanned perfectly fine and the other wouldn't scan for some reason. I was told to reprint the label at home and come back again. This is confusing because anytime there was an issue with the label they just reprinted it in store and sent me on my way. Today I'm told it's a $3 charge and I decline stating I would rather print it and come back than waste $3 for them to print a label I already paid for. The associate tells me I'm wasting more money in gas by doing it this way... super classy UPS and what a polite way to speak to your customer! I will never be back to this location again and recommended the management retrain the employees on best practices when speaking to customers. UPDATE: I just left another UPS store location. They were able to scan my package successfully. I asked about the three dollar fee and they informed me that it depends on the store and sort of how they're feeling that day. If you're going to have a company policy, it should be enforced to everybody equally not just when you feel like it.

So driving 30 minutes away in the height of Colorado rush hour I arrive after 4:00 and Marissa said he wasn't back yet and probably won't be back until 6:00. I told her he told me 3:00 and she didn't know why he said that as he had a full load. Marissa said that when it comes in that she'll personally call me to let me know it's in and she went above and beyond and kept her word. The customer receives an electronic notice when an item arrives, each package gets a large label with the box number, and retrieving an item when you arrive at the store is straightforward. The only downside of this location is the cramped and very busy parking lot. However, there is also an underground parking garage with a convenient staircase that comes up right next to the UPS Store entrance.

This is a well-stocked shop with everything you could need for shipping. I brought in a large number of boxes of shoes that wouldn't fit in my car for the drive home. Yes, they are in their boxes because it is far easier for a shoe hoarder to store and organize ones collection. The owner was in the store the day we went in and he helped pick the right box and customised the box so nothing moved and to reduce the cost. He finished the packing, printed out the shipping and tracking labels and receipt for me, and we were on our way. My package arrived on time and undamaged. I couldn't have been happier.
