Gentleman at the front counter, forgot his name, tried telling me it wasn't at their facility when my tracking clearly states that it is
    Jessica B.

Melissa will send your packages to the wrong state if you dont stop her from sliding through the system when customers are supposed to double check to verify if addresses are correct on packages. They make you pay when THEY mess up with the shipment on your packages. They can't seem to locate a package of mine that has apparently been at their facility for 2 days now, according to my tracking. Arnetta is as rude as can be. No one seems to be of any help here at all. Idk what happened but this location is going straight down the drain. I'll not be using this location to ship packages for my business any longer. It's the closest one to me but I'll drive an extra 10-15 minutes for correct service from now on. Or I'll make the switch to FedEx or UPS for my shipment processes. This location is absolutely terrible. If I could give 0 stars and leave this review I would. Something needs to be done here.

Dang. The service keeps getting slower and slower. What use to be 3 days take more than 7 days. Sad sad sad

I had some family heirloom items shipped via USPS Priority Delivery recently. There were (2) boxes…read moreof fragile items that were shipped. The shipper did not pay extra for insurance, but each box under the program was eligible for $100 of coverage. The boxes had similar contents but arrived with different results. Both boxes were packed with similar packing material and had similar contents. One box had (2) broken items. The other box arrived with nothing intact. I filed claims for each box but discovered that in order to process the claims, the Post Office had to confiscate the contents of each box. Since most of one box arrived intact, I did not surrender that box (DUH!). I received a denial of the claim from USPS because I did not provide a receipt to verify the valuation of the items that were broken. The items were wedding presents to my parents from 1949. No receipt exists today to back that up. However, the clerk at the Post Office who processed my claim was astonished at the obvious value of the broken items. Had I submitted the second box with most items intact, i would not have gotten anything back. I have found this whole process to be extremely ridiculous. Why would anyone pay extra for insurance through USPS under these circumstances? Who would surrender intact items knowing that the potential for reimbursement would not even touch the obvious value of the items insured, knowing that these items would not be returned. I recommend that anyone shipping anything of value to consider any other means except for the USPS. It's a complete joke.

I placed an online Hold Mail Request for my mail while out of town. The Hold began as scheduled…read morehowever I didn't receive my mail upon return as I requested. That afternoon, I called the 1-800 number & spoke with a representative who put in a Service Request. The following day I was hopeful my mail would be delivered but unfortunately it wasn't. On day three I called the 1-800 number again & spoke with another representative. She saw my Service Request & suggested I call my local post office & gave me the phone number. (This was the same number as posted on their website.) I was not able to speak with anyone there since the phone number had been disconnected & was no longer in service! So, I called back the 1-800 number & spoke with yet another representative who gave me the phone number for Consumer Affairs. I called Consumer Affairs. The only option at Consumer Affairs was to leave a voicemail, which I did. On day four I went to my local post office & picked up my mail. The counter employee was friendly, helpful & apologetic. She didn't know why my mail hadn't been delivered & wasn't aware of the phone being out of order either. Overall, a frustrating experience. I now have all my held mail & daily mail delivery has resumed as well. Next time I place a Hold Mail Request I think I'll just go & pick it up at my local post office.

Negative stars if possible. The couriers at this place are criminals who steal customer packages…read moreand lie about it stating that mail was delivered, when it wasn't, and when you investigate it further they tell you that your mailbox was broken into (or some other lie), however, there is no evidence of a break in or tampering of the mailbox NOR did anyone inform the residents that their mail was compromised due to a break-in. This will be the 6th package stolen as a result of this! I have escalated this issue to be investigated. No accommodations are ever made as a result and you have to fight tooth and nail just to get a validation letter. Unfortunately, you cannot change your USPS branch due to zip code jurisdictions, so this is an unfortunate injustice to subject people to theft from actual government employees who are supposed to take an oath against committing federal crimes.
