Dang. The service keeps getting slower and slower. What use to be 3 days take more than 7 days. Sad sad sad

Open until 10pm six days a week, so for having extended hours, they earned the one star required by Yelp rating system. After that, does anyone else in the universe really need to be abused by large, loud elderly white males? There were three elderly white males manning the desk tonight. Two of them may have been awesome. I got the one who had been yelling out to everyone exactly how to behave. It was a calm line, but he needed attention. I had 3 packages with computer printed labels on them: one for USPS and two for UPS. He deliberately and condescendingly informed me, moving the packages about and jabbing each label exclaiming that they were for UPS. "UPS NOT USPS" he continued to inform. I believed him from the get-go and calmly asked if they could take them anyway. (I know from experience that Fedex and UPS take anyone's packages graciously while informing you that they cannot give reciepts for packages with labels that arent theirs. These packages have always shipped correctly for me in the past, getting to their destinations on time.) This US postal worker leaned down on the desk dramatically and said, "I tell ya what. We have a bin back there, where we put mistakes from UPS and maybe they'll go out in a few weeks." Is this the level of service our country's postal service wants to convey? Why did that man want to be so vile? Please privatize the post office so cretins like that man will either shape up or be gone so they can no longer inflict their nasty selves on postal customers. Give UPS and FedEx additional and real competition. I usually use UPS because you're in and out relatively quickly and they happily mail fedex and USPS in a pinch. Tonight, I was once again reminded of why i dont like to go to this post office. Ive only visited it for a handful of emergencies in the 22 years I've lived in this town. Its best avoided. read more

I've always been satisfied with the service at this post office. They have bulk mailing services and regular mailing services available at this branch. I've utilized both and have always been satisfied with their customer service. They have always been efficient and courteous. They are also opened the latest out of all post offices. 930 pm is late for a post office. I recommend if you have a late night drop off. They also open until midnight on tax deadline days as well. read more

Nobody answers the phone and packages are consistently late. Very hard to reach an actual representative. There appears to be a lack of staff available. USPS.com also offers very little information about why packages are held for so long at this particular location and when the expected delivery will be. read more

i feel weird reviewing a post office but i go to a lot in the area and this one had the quickest service (only place with NO line and THREE employees) and the woman was so nice and friendly. wish i lived closer i wouldn't go to any other one. plus only one open on saturday until 10pm! read more

Melissa will send your packages to the wrong state if you dont stop her from sliding through the system when customers are supposed to double check to verify if addresses are correct on packages. They make you pay when THEY mess up with the shipment on your packages. They can't seem to locate a package of mine that has apparently been at their facility for 2 days now, according to my tracking. Arnetta is as rude as can be. No one seems to be of any help here at all. Idk what happened but this location is going straight down the drain. I'll not be using this location to ship packages for my business any longer. It's the closest one to me but I'll drive an extra 10-15 minutes for correct service from now on. Or I'll make the switch to FedEx or UPS for my shipment processes. This location is absolutely terrible. If I could give 0 stars and leave this review I would. Something needs to be done here. read more

If I could give this PO a zero I would. I was supposed to receive my package on March 2, 2021. Instead its been stuck at this PO for 3 full days with no explanation or updatefor when it will be delivered. These are books I need to study with so I am very behind everyone else. My package had the mis fortune of winding up here in the land of forgotten packages. I have sent emails, I have called customer service, I have been tracking my package about every hour. No one is getting back to me, no one is looking for my package. It arrived in Denver on Dec 21st, tracking has not been updated since. It is now the 30th. read more

I see why the USPS is losing money your service is not worth the money and time. The internet communication is much better, I mailed a Valentine's Day card on the 11th of February was informed that it would arrive on the 14th of February. The card was certified with a return receipt the accepting party has not received the card and here is the 15th of February tracking the mail doesn't give any explanation at all but is in transit been in transit for 2 days can't get nobody to give me a good answer as to where is the mail I paid for the service. Went in last night around 6:30pm, between two early season snow storms. Two clerks, each had a customer, I was the only other in line. Fast friendly service. My clerk was super upbeat and friendly. We had a great convo about how the young people have never learned how to address an envelope! Anyway this PO is off the beaten path but great when you have an important thing to send and it's after regular business hours. read more

I find myself at post offices more and more these days for work. Lots of certified mail for me. I find the closest post office to where I am and head on over and hope for a fast experience. My time here was very swift. Filled out my two green certified forms, waited behind two people, got up to the counter, did my thing and left. Two or three people working behind the counter while I was there and all very friendly. This post office also has a very large variety of the forever stamps for all occasions, some for weddings, flowers for the girl in all of us, and the like for all the people out there that like to match events to stamps. read more

Oddly, I had to add this business to review it. This is my favorite post office location. They have interesting hours which works for me, and I would rather drive a bit out of the way to not have to stand in line for 20 minutes, so this location gets points for that. Also this is a distribution hub of some sort, so they have a lot of services and features that sub-stations do not. The parking lot is never even close to half full, the counter service has been pleasant and useful, and I can do a fair amount in the lobby even when they are closed. I could not find further information about this location on the internet, so as I get more details I will add them here on Yelp. read more

The worst distribution center in the US. I order a lot of packages from a local Colorado company and the packages get routed to this distribution center. My packages will SIT for 5 days before finally moving. This center really needs an efficiency overall. It's ridiculous that every time a package gets routed here, it's delayed. read more

Never go here during lunch......it's jam packed and there is always only 1 or 2 (if you're lucky) employees there. However, I do get a kick out of watching most people hiss, roll their eyes, and make comments at the pace of getting to the counter. The staff has been working their since the beginning of time and most are very friendly given the attitude they get on a daily basis. priority mail box eyeglasses mailed 6/1 from Boulder Co to 07739 NJ 6/2 arrived Denver distribution then arrived again Monday &Tuesday should have delivered Tuesday but no then tracking says it left denver Wednesday Thursday and Friday loged into USPO site useless made complaint then called no help just were sorry i dont know where it is! Then went to my local PO where i was told they have no way to call Denver and track no phone numbers they will get back to me still waiting. we the people should close this money losing group and sell to private sector where they would find out quickly responsibility and accountability! they suck!!!!!! read more

People are friggin nice in Denver.... Even at the post office! It took me a couple messed up turns by fault of my navigation to get there but once I did it was worth it. A+ Customer service. I've been coming to this post office for over a year and I always enjoy the people working in there. They have a snark I really appreciate. On a particular occasion I got to work with David. He made my day giving me options on how to get a package to the right place at the right time and was very patient while I looked for the address. I bought stamps and promptly left them at the counter. David sent them to me since he had my address - and wrote a nice note. Consumer Beware! We thought other postings regarding - Northfield USPS Mail Center/Facility (Denver, CO) were snarky or mean spirited? UNTIL...our package scanned in at Facility (on DEC. 26, 2016) & was promptly lost there! Despite 8 different avenues, (online forms, etc, etc.). Land of Lost Packages. :( 12 DAYS Later - STILL NO DELIVERY or LOCATION OF PACKAGE IN THIS USPS WAREHOUSE! It traveled from Europe - only to be "misplaced" here! We have tried to find a USPS human contact - (Mgmt) is accountable to locate packages, ensure delivery, resolve problems and serve the customer/taxpayers (sadly except not here). No luck! No direct (e-mail, names, phone #) available! We even drove to USPS mail office (on same property), waited in line patiently 40 minutes - only to be told there is no "publicly available contact info. for the USPS Mail Facility"- mere feet away! Talk about fraud - holding packages with ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY TO DELIVER, or even take a personal interest and find it! Each USPS employee is accountable to US Taxpayers. Each plays a part - or ignores their part, ALL USPS Employees there SHOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE to DELIVER & SERVE. If you can take the paycheck - you can each HELP DELIVER TO ALL CUSTOMERS. We just want our Christmas package from family! We have waited 1 month (from Dec. 5th - and counting). Christmas Grinch! We pay our government employees TO DELIVER MAIL - NOT DODGE DELIVERY. Honestly I hardly ever have good luck with the post office and the service received when calling in. We all know the customer service is very minimal and most of the time impossible to track down a package. I had already called 2 other distribution centers before calling this one. I was put on hold the first time with no solution in the end and basically a "good luck!". Then at the second attempt I was told I would receive a call back with further instructions on who to speak with that could help me the most. (A day later and a dollar short... I am still waiting for that return phone call!). Third and last attempt I am going to make trying to track down a Priority Express shipment that was guaranteed delivery the day before at noon...not to mention that we paid more than $25 to overnight to a customer who was leaving the next day and needed their package. (Btw.. the package was a baby announcement to their parents letting them know they were gonna be grandparents.. so this was pretty important!). Thankfully I met Diana via phone at the Denver, CO distribution who was more than happy AND willing to go above and beyond to track the package down. After investigating the issue and taking the time to assist me, she gave me some options to reach out to my customer in hopes they haven't left on their trip and they could possibly go to the D.C. where they could pick it up until 9:30pm. Diana said she would personally go into the warehouse and find the package herself if I could somehow get a hold of my customer. Thankfully my customer somehow saw my email and postponed her travel until the next morning in order to drive to the D.C. Before closing. And guess what?? Diana was able to find the package and get to my customer!! Talk about great customer service... we need more Diana's in this world! Thanks for making it happen and taking the time to go above and beyond!! read more

Assured that my envelope left at the counter with the clerk on April 30 at 8:40AM would reach Breckenridge by May 2. Did not happen and at one point the tracking update claimed that my envelope that left the Distribution Center, which is one in the same by address, at 6:32PM on the 2nd of May would arrive in Breckenridge by 8:00PM. Roughly 90 miles, sorry Charlie it ain't a gonna happen. Envelope did arrive in Breckenridge approximately 24 hours later than the assured time and the tracking update estimated arrival time. If you want some humor in your life require your package has a tracking number so you can follow the package just to document the incompetence of the US Postal Service. read more
