There's no way of getting around going to the post when you really need to...Especially if you have put in a COA Change of Address... I am not getting ANY FORWARDED MAIL AND ITS GOING ON 2 Months and luckily I have given my new address to most but where is the FORWARDED MAIL? Here We Go To The Post Office... I'll have to stand in horrifyic line waiting just for them to probably tell me there is no mail... I asked for the mail to be held/ hold and I know it is because I picked up some mail so it's been a few weeks now no forwarded.. So they should either have mail held or I should be receiving my first class mail and periodical mail... How do I know for fact I worked 15 years with the PO... The new carrier where I just moved to has been employed for 1 month... ‍ WISH ME LUCK...! read more

WOW! I am not the only one that had difficulty with this post office. That speaks volumes about their customer service! Not only am I not receiving my mail, but all of the cards, both credit cards and holiday cards seems to disappear! When approaching the two dark skinned men, they found it funny that I insisted they look for a package that was on hold there. It is their app that revealed where my package was being held! When asked to look again, the shorter of the two took a smoke break and came back with nothing but a terribly hostile attitude. Excuse me for asking him to do his job! I didn't know that he is getting paid to sit there and laugh at customers! It took the wonderful German woman that was changing the box locks to help! She saw and heard everything and felt terrible for my kid! He was painfully disappointed. She went above and beyond to get his package. I couldn't help but tearfully hug her... a lot! She did not have to do anything, yet she was kind enough to do so! What shocked me the most was when the manager defended those two mean men. Never defend that behavior. I felt like she has had to do that way too many times! We have no choice other than to go there, and it angers me that so many of us are subjected to those two. It seems to be the culture there. Personally, I chose to allow the person behind me go if I am next to deal with either of them. I allow silence to speak louder than my voice ever could. I refuse to allow them to dictate my day there! Stand strong when going into their playground! You are not alone! read more

Very bad and slow service. No mail delivered to my new address. They lost my package and when I go to the post office, they tell me it's out for delivery and I never get anything. Unhappy with their rude employees and I hate to go to that post office because of the unactable customer service that I received. read more

racist employee refused to give me my package or any sort of help, it was $200 worth of roaches to feed my lizards, I presented a stated issued ID which he said was not valid, horrible horrible experience, not only did he refuse but he made sure to let everyone know I had a "non-valid" ID and talked to as if I was child that didn't know how to read, how people like this asshole have a job is beyond me read more

I try to avoid the Post Office during the holidays. After this experience of waiting in line for 40 minutes, I will try and avoid the Post Office all the time. The wait was extremely long and one of the workers was yelling at the other worker. It just seems as if nobody has a sense of urgency in this facility. Even though my experience was bad, we received excellent customer service from Alana once we got to the counter. read more

Went to this post office to drop off some Christmas packages and I was surprised how friendly the lady was. Really appreciated that because a lot of times post office workers are stressed and grumpy especially during the holidays. She was very sweet and got my packaged set within mins. read more

Usually the line at this location is super long, so I lucked out with only 2 people ahead of me at opening. Postal worker was very chipper and helpful. I only had to buy a few stamps to mail some cards so it was an easy and quick trip. read more

US Post Office - Buying some stamps - Post Offices Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

This has to be the worst location. Usually only 1 worker working the counter and they take like 20 minutes at least per person.

Allana gave us the best customer service! Not only did she help us fix our problem, but was very sweet! I'll most definitely recommend people to come to this post office! read more

Had an issue with my mailbox key in a new housing development. Alana went above and beyond to assist in getting us to the right department to get this resolved. Problem is, the few agents that are staffed are exceptional at the job. Problem is may patrons in my experience are not educated or unprepared when they get to the counter. USPS needs to either better staff to handle these customers or provide better education for these folks. read more

Had a Christmas gift to send and wanted to get it going in case of a trucking strike or delay because of a busy postal season. Went with priority mail box as I could cram a lot into it and they don't charge by weight. Found parking in the private lot. Went in to use the automated postage machine and they were both not working. Had to stand in a long line instead. Floor marked with social distancing lines so I tried to respect that but some customers were very close. Waited my turn and finally made it to the counter. The associate was friendly and helpful. Got my package sent and purchased some stamps. Collected my receipt and was on my way. They have Christmas design stamps, boxes for priority mail and packing supplies. And a variety of greeting cards for those last minute wishes. You can rent mail boxes here. This post office can also process passports making it a very handy post office. read more

I never leave reviews but this post office reminded me what bad service really looks like. I came in to drop off a box and needed to cross off a label. After waiting in line, I got to the front where an African American guy with glasses was working (I didn't get his name). He was immediately rude and dismissive. Instead of just letting me cross something off right there, he told me to step aside and pointed to a sign all the way down the counter. It could've taken two seconds -- he was just being extra and rude. While I was still standing there, another customer came from the self-service kiosk and asked a question to an older lady with white hair -- another employee -- who was standing next to her desk going through papers. She wasn't helping anyone or open, but she raised her voice at him, and told him to wait his turn and she was closed. The customer then approached the same African American guy (with glasses), he told him the same thing -- "to get in line!" -- in a really rude tone. Mind you the line was long. The staff here are unhelpful and lack basic courtesy. This post office needs oversight and customer service training. read more

i've lover here for two years. This is the third time my packages have showed delivered, but I have not received them in the parcel boxes. I contacted the post office. Apparently they were delivered to the wrong box but as long as it shows delivered, it's too bad so I'm out $150. This is third time that this has happened. It's unacceptable from the post office . I almost feel like it forces you to have to go get a post office box so that you can get your items. They always seem to manage to get the junk mail in there though go figure! read more

The service sucks Ed is so rude and unprofessional this shop need to get new people or just close because they just don't know how to do their job, they have me waiting in line for 20+ minutes meanwhile they go to the back and disappear for another 20+ minutes SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. read more

Community mail boxes broken into each month for the last 3 months, demanding US postal office, if they cannot deliver our mail safely, you will have to pay for fraud protection to every person you deliver mail to with a community mail box. Choices: Give us indavidual mail boxes, put a cage with a key lock to protect boxes (each member of box get cage key). put lighting and cameras in each area. I had stolen: Med docs, ins docs, car renewal, registration and tags stolen (disbled veteran, dmv sends me my tags each year, stolen) and packages I have no clue of until I search all the sites I have ordered from. Would be a zero if that was an option. I barely get packages that come through USPS. I've had to come to this post office MANY times for packages that weren't delivered due to someone doing their job half ASS. I visit this post office more than I should. I damn near live here and I hate it. African American Bald dude with the glasses is most of the time condescending, rude, and loud talks you. It's not like they play music so everybody can hear your business when you are at the window. I've had to speak with management via email AND in person. She was nice but my mail has been missing for over a week recently because some one decided to break into the entire mail box and do you think they give a f*ck, NO EVERYTIME something important coming via mail. It's always a problem. When I say I can't wait to move and have a different post office assigned to me, I CAN'T WAIT read more

I had a small prepaid package that could easily have been dropped in any box and they made me go inside and wait in line to send it. Completely ridiculous. read more

Once again if I can give this place a negative I would. Customer service is terrible. I was waiting in a non purchase line, so I thought. Turns out the manager was just helping someone. Fist she could have told us that she wasn't open. Second the clerk next to spot who saw me waiting could have spoke up. I had to ask her and with her nasty attitude she said she was as never open. They both could have told me such but they didn't. read more

Customer service here is horrible. The first time I came I saw a male clerk being rude to a man who clearly didn't speak good Spanish. The clerk has a very aggressive demeanor. Low quality service. Very rude employees. Always homeless people sleeping in the lobby.

I mailed 3 packages at the same time, to the same address: 1 large package of relatively little value, and two smaller packages containing electronics valued a nearly $800. This place is the worst. Always a line, never enough help, customer service is horrendous. Best part about this location is the self service kiosk. A Post Office is a Post Office, right? Generally they are pretty dull with long lines and not enough customer service reps, right? They are proving grounds for learning patience. Well, the main PO on Alameda is true to reputation . . . . with one exception: ZEKE! He's smiling, friendly and generally has the good customer service thing down pat. Even more important is that he is professional and provides service in a quick and efficient manner all the time while he is smiling and making you feel like you are the most important customer he's served today. Why can't all USPS customer service reps be like Zeke? Take a number? No thanks, I'll wait for Zeke! read more

The song remains the same, only now with more COVID! "One customer in, one customer out," a sign on the door proclaims, and a woman standing in line in front of me said (during the 40 minutes we had in which to converse) that she'd stepped inside when there were already 10 people there and been shooed out. Looking inside at the unmoving line, the folks there were not 6 feet apart. There were 2 clerks on when I got there and it didn't do my blood pressure any good to observe them not apparently doing much of anything, and in silence to boot. Once I finally got inside (after half an hour), I saw a customer standing there for 10+ minutes before anyone behind the counter even spoke with him. One clerk went on break (of course) soon after, leaving ONE guy to handle the line. And mister "I'm on break" had his mask below his nose. USPS, how about getting rid of these uncaring folks and giving the jobs to workers who're actually interested in their customers and desire to be efficient? read more

As far as Post Offices go this one is pretty solid. Sizable parking lot, large interior, friendly staff, and a plethora of envelopes and packages to choose from. Well I at least feel slightly better that I am not ALONE in thinking this is the worst post office ever. The only person that I felt was nice was Leon. Now before I start my PO BOX closing was completely my fault. It was on auto pay and my credit card expired exactly around the same time they charged it. If they sent an email I missed it but either way I got an email at 3 am my box had been closed for non payment. Call my credit card company they confirmed it was because it was ran on the old card. I immediately ( same day) go to Post Office to pay and rectify. I simply ask if they would be WILLING to waive the fee since it was same day and as a courtesy. The lady Theresa was SO rude I couldn't believe it. First she lectures me in front of the ENTIRE store about it being my fault my box was closed although I had never sad it wasn't . Then she LIED and said my mail had already been sent back. It had not been. Then when I pointed out how rude and nasty she was being she told me I am sorry YOU FEEL THAT WAY. So I talked to Leon the supervisor he told me I would have to wait for a different manager that manager calls and she proceeds to make excuses for Theresa. Maybe she hadn't had her coffee, or maybe she was having a bad morning WHAAAAATTT? You're in customer service and can't do customer service. Then she said well customers walk in here mad so it makes it hard for us sometimes. Either way I could go on. I ended up cancelling my PO Box just cause I didn't want to give them my money being so rude. They are NASTY unprofessional and I don't know how every single one isn't fired. Too boot it's chronically understaffed probably because the people are awful to work with. read more

As a PO Box user, I find this place is readily accessible 24/7 and I don't very often feel like I'm gonna have to get buck wild on anyone that is lingering around. People get in and get the hell out, and that's great. When I do have to do something at the window, however, it takes forever. Not because they're not trying, they're just understaffed to handle such things. So, if you need stuff, give yourself an extra few minutes. 9/10 would pick up my junk mail here again, tomorrow. read more
