I try to avoid the Post Office during the holidays. After this experience of waiting in line for 40 minutes, I will try and avoid the Post Office all the time. The wait was extremely long and one of the workers was yelling at the other worker. It just seems as if nobody has a sense of urgency in this facility. Had an issue with my mailbox key in a new housing development. Alana went above and beyond to assist in getting us to the right department to get this resolved. Problem is, the few agents that are staffed are exceptional at the job. Problem is may patrons in my experience are not educated or unprepared when they get to the counter. Had a Christmas gift to send and wanted to get it going in case of a trucking strike or delay because of a busy postal season. Went with priority mail box as I could cram a lot into it and they don't charge by weight. Found parking in the private lot. Went in to use the automated postage machine and they were both not working. Had to stand in a long line instead. Floor marked with social distancing lines so I tried to respect that but some customers were very close. Waited my turn and finally made it to the counter. The associate was friendly and helpful. Got my package sent and purchased some stamps. Collected my receipt and was on my way. They have Christmas design stamps, boxes for priority mail and packing supplies. And a variety of greeting cards for those last minute wishes. You can rent mail boxes here. This post office can also process passports making it a very handy post office. read more

I never leave reviews but this post office reminded me what bad service really looks like. I came in to drop off a box and needed to cross off a label. After waiting in line, I got to the front where an African American guy with glasses was working (I didn't get his name). He was immediately rude and dismissive. Instead of just letting me cross something off right there, he told me to step aside and pointed to a sign all the way down the counter. It could've taken two seconds -- he was just being extra and rude. While I was still standing there, another customer came from the self-service kiosk and asked a question to an older lady with white hair -- another employee -- who was standing next to her desk going through papers. She wasn't helping anyone or open, but she raised her voice at him, and told him to wait his turn and she was closed. The customer then approached the same African American guy (with glasses), he told him the same thing -- "to get in line!" -- in a really rude tone. Mind you the line was long. The staff here are unhelpful and lack basic courtesy. This post office needs oversight and customer service training. read more

Community mail boxes broken into each month for the last 3 months, demanding US postal office, if they cannot deliver our mail safely, you will have to pay for fraud protection to every person you deliver mail to with a community mail box. Choices: Give us indavidual mail boxes, put a cage with a key lock to protect boxes (each member of box get cage key). put lighting and cameras in each area. I had stolen: Med docs, ins docs, car renewal, registration and tags stolen (disbled veteran, dmv sends me my tags each year, stolen) and packages I have no clue of until I search all the sites I have ordered from. If you cannot protect our mail, you will have to pay for fraud protection for every person effected. read more

"One customer in, one customer out," a sign on the door proclaims, and a woman standing in line in front of me said (during the 40 minutes we had in which to converse) that she'd stepped inside when there were already 10 people there and been shooed out. Looking inside at the unmoving line, the folks there were not 6 feet apart. There were 2 clerks on when I got there and it didn't do my blood pressure any good to observe them not apparently doing much of anything, and in silence to boot. Once I finally got inside (after half an hour), I saw a customer standing there for 10+ minutes before anyone behind the counter even spoke with him. One clerk went on break (of course) soon after, leaving ONE guy to handle the line. And mister "I'm on break" had his mask below his nose. As far as Post Offices go this one is pretty solid. Sizable parking lot, large interior, friendly staff, and a plethora of envelopes and packages to choose from. Well I at least feel slightly better that I am not ALONE in thinking this is the worst post office ever. The only person that I felt was nice was Leon. Now before I start my PO BOX closing was completely my fault. It was on auto pay and my credit card expired exactly around the same time they charged it. If they sent an email I missed it but either way I got an email at 3 am my box had been closed for non payment. Call my credit card company they confirmed it was because it was ran on the old card. I immediately ( same day) go to Post Office to pay and rectify. I simply ask if they would be WILLING to waive the fee since it was same day and as a courtesy. The lady Theresa was SO rude I couldn't believe it. First she lectures me in front of the ENTIRE store about it being my fault my box was closed although I had never sad it wasn't . Then she LIED and said my mail had already been sent back. It had not been. Then when I pointed out how rude and nasty she was being she told me I am sorry YOU FEEL THAT WAY. So I talked to Leon the supervisor he told me I would have to wait for a different manager that manager calls and she proceeds to make excuses for Theresa. Maybe she hadn't had her coffee, or maybe she was having a bad morning WHAAAAATTT? You're in customer service and can't do customer service. Then she said well customers walk in here mad so it makes it hard for us sometimes. Either way I could go on. I ended up cancelling my PO Box just cause I didn't want to give them my money being so rude. They are NASTY unprofessional and I don't know how every single one isn't fired. It's a postal service location with long waits, cryptic signs, and employees yelling directions from behind counters to people far away behind another counter. Then, of course, you get to watch 3 people get all the way to the front of the line only to learn they did not need to wait to drop off their mail, 2 people storm out when they learn the entire passport process is longer than seven hours, and four workers who shut down their windows because they planned their breaks during peak hours.
