This place is close to work so it's convenient. I usually go after 3 or 4pm. Sometimes when there's heavy congestion around Disneyland, it can be a bit of a headache to get into the post office. The traffic can be backed up and getting in and out can be difficult. There's plenty of parking at this post office which is very convenient because most post offices have little to no parking. They have 2-3 cashiers working which is great because most post offices have 1 and if you're lucky they'll have 2, but I've never seen 3 people helping. The line moves very quickly. The post office people were friendly and professional and they weren't rude at all like others have mentioned. I was in and out quickly. I will definitely come here more often for my post office needs. read more

I will admit I've been here a couple of times and the bar for post offices are pretty low but Michelle helped me twice in consecutive days and was nothing but amazing. She helped me with the transaction and even helped me pick from different stamps. I went right after lunch and it was pretty brisk and no one seemed rude. It was good to finally go to a post office and not treated rudely. I will try and make sure I come back here whenever I have any needs. Nothing really negative to say or any Criticism. It would be nice if they had the new automated machine so some other people would be able to put their items through there. I have seen the machine on diamond bar and thought I would see it here. How funny that this place is called Holiday Post Office and yet it can be anything but one. This is the post office that I have to go to whenever I get a mailing notice on my door. Many times I wish I didn't have to use this post office to pick up my packages and I don't like going here. Granted, it's not often, but from past experiences, I act like Nancy Karrigan and just ask "Why?" "Why?" "Why?" The people behind the counter never look happy anything. Sometimes I get the feeling that I am more of an inconvenience to them. It seems that when the line starts to grow, there is no urgency on being efficient. Although on the last visit (2/25/13), there was this one young female worker doing the Passports. She was happy, polite, and she seemed to care about the customers she was attending. Now I am not sure if she just does Passports or if that is one of her responsibilities. But I think if there were more people like her working the counter, then this Post Office would be great. read more

This post office is very visible and easy to see from Ball Road. The parking lot is a good size, and I've never seen it full. But for the small area inside, the line can sometime be very long and the service can be slow. But in my observation, it's the customer that seems to be the problem at this location, like no having their payment ready, having so many questions (I guess with me, I tend to search the Internet first and I expect everyone else to do the same), or they're not sure how they want to send their letter or package. I mainly use this post office now just to drop off postage paid letters or packages. So either I can drop the letter in the drop location outside in the parking lot or a package with one of the attendants without waiting in line. My package was misplaced from the mailboxes and I called To see if someone could help me find my package and SILVIA was able to help me out, she was soooo nice and caring she made sure to reach out to the mailman that delivered the package and made sure to give me a peace of mind that they had found it! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Supervisor or manager or whatever the hell he was, told me I couldn't pick up my mail and I had to pay $91 for a PO Box because my property management for my apartment complex didn't have our new mailboxes installed. When I asked the "supervisor" why I am the one paying the price for what my property management hasn't done he told me "you're not the one responsible, they are" yet kept raising his voice at me and telling me I can't get my mail unless I pay the PO Box fee. I then called my property management and they said that the post office actually is the one not complying, and my property manager already bought a new mailbox and it is planned to be installed. This post office's "supervisor" hasn't been responsive and won't reply to emails and haven't called back my property manager in the last few weeks. Sounds like to me they want people to pay money for a PO Box rather than get their mail for free. Bunch of bullshit if you ask me! The employees in this place are unhelpful and are very rude. I would never come here again if it wasn't for my mail being held here. I can't believe they let that guy be a supervisor, he was unwilling to help me out and make me, a customer, happy and walk out with a good experience. Instead, I was yelled at as if I was the one responsible for all the issues that haven't been taken care of yet. A middle aged woman helped me and she was very condescending she laughed at me because I didn't bring a form for the PO box when online doesn't say you must bring. She was very rude doing other things while she helped me as well. Her name was Grace short wavy hair, thick accent, Philippino or Vietnamese. Very Rude. I also wanted to add that I have gotten a PO box at the loara office and they never gave me a big deal about the form I remember the man getting me to fill out. Applying for a passport was so easy and quick. It's really like a one stop shop. Just bring your ID and citizenship documents, and you can do the rest there. I had my application already filled out, so we just did pictures, oath, money order, and it all took 10 minutes. This was at about 11:45 AM on a Thursday. Highly recommended! read more

Im surprised at the bad reviews. I come here every couple of weeks since its the closest to my work and its usually a fairly quick, in and out transaction. Easy to find parking and even when theres a line it goes at a good pace (never more than 20 minu id say). Service is fine. There's one older gentleman thats sweet and friendly. They dont rush you like other places and they dont speak behind glass counters which I feel makes them more approachable. read more

I love the fact that I live right across the street from this post office. I don't mail big packages that often, but Dinh has always helped me and has been so helpful. He always greets me with a smile and strikes up a conversation. I love that he remembers me even when I don't come in that often. David on the other hand, he's very helpful but he just seems to be very indifferent about everything. Michelle seems like she absolutely doesn't want to be there at all. Even as I try to make small talk and joke, she only cracks a small smile. I come to this post office often to send packages and I have never had a bad experience here. Everyone is so nice and helpful. A gentlemen named Dihn is exceptional. He is always trying to find you the cheapest way to send your items and is so friendly! Another guy who's name I can't remember is very nice too! The lines aren't too bad of a wait but it's the post office so you should come in knowing it might be a little of a wait. My transaction at this post office was so quick and easy. The parking was plentiful and the line was short. I had some questions and worries about the weight for my wedding save the dates - which I learned just made the cut! The postal worker was so sweet and friendly, which hasn't been my experience at other post offices, particularly the one I just came from near my work place - I literally walked out of the last post office after a rude and unpleasant experience. On the amount of time I've been sitting in the parking lot with this review, I've counted about twenty plus people walking in and out, proving how quick the transactions are here. Went today to this location for the first time to mail a package. Gentleman named Ninh (sp?) was extremely helpful and pleasant. He helped me pick the best way to mail the item (box vs. envelope) and was very efficient. The other clerk was also interacting with customers in a pleasant manner. This is definitely a contrast to the rude treatment at the Anaheim location on Kaiser, which I avoid even though it is closest to my home. read more

I came in picking up a package waited and found out someone, who probably works there stole my package number, claimed my package it's a $175 book for school. I was told by the supervisor that I came in and got it. I told him I didn't because I was asleep at the time this package was pick up. He continued to tell me that there was ID shown and that the package number was shown. There you go...so anyone with ID AND A PACKAGE NUMBER CAN COME IN AND GET THE PACKAGE?! I told him that makes me not trust the post office more because of that policy. I asked him what happens now his told me to contact the deliver and tell them that I never received my package. So this really make me FRUSTRATED AND not trust the post office again when I was being told that I MYSELF came in and got the package and they don't take any responsibility for it because ID and the package number was shown what is the point of a package claim slip? They have a walk-in passport service M-F from 9a to 2p which is great when it's true! Went in 3 times and it was not available - today was the last straw. i got In around 1:30 while on my break and saw that it was still not available. asked when it would be available and the guy who I spoke to just stared at me and said he didn't have time because it takes 20 min. and they close at 2. WHAT?!? R u serious? He obviously just didn't want to help me out. It's so hard to describe how horrible this guy was but I will never come back to this even if I live 2 minutes away. I was recently was very late in writing a letters to my nieces and nephews at summer camp. I don't really mail letters that often especially priority overnight. So as I lack the general knowledge of the different services available, I was very fortunate to find a postal worker that was skilled, well informed and very congenial, even though it's late in the day and close to closing time. Grace was happy to inform me of the different options at the post office and showed me a wide range stamps and services that would best suit my future needs. So even though I don't think my package will arrive in time because I was so very late in getting it in. I am very please with my visit to this post office. I've been to others in and they are definitely not as pleasantly agreeable, skilled and or as professional as Grace was. read more
