This is my go-to Nail Salon in SHERMAN OAKS, Ca. The owner LANI is a gem. She has a great attitude and skills. I have gone here for years and her new shop- maybe two years at the new location is airy and non-toxic.Plenty of metered street parking besides the lot. Next to Casa Vega. I highly recommend LANI and US NAILS. They are also reasonably priced still. read more

I've had to cheat on my regular nail salon a couple times lately in between my normal mani/pedi visits and Diana has done a pedicure and manicure for me on two separate occasions. Service is good and I can Venmo. Both times, I was a walk-in and taken care of on the spot. This salon is right around the corner from me but I'm an insane creature of habit and drive to the salon I've gone to for over 25 years in Burbank. If you're in the area and don't have a different salon I'm sure this is a perfectly fine option. I don't think I'd be able to make the permanent move. I wouldn't even get my normal gel mani because I felt it'd be too strong of a betrayal. My loyalty may inconvenience me at times, but it's who I am at my core. I love having this close option should I need a little refresh visit in between my other visits if my schedule gets tricky and I can't fit in going to Burbank. I'd definitely recommend. They came on recommendation from a friend who works around the corner and her mani always look lovely. I only ever wear my nails natural so this is solely for natural nails, I haven't got a clue in the world about acrylic or whatever they call them nowadays. read more

1st time here on lunch break service was great , called same day and was able to book an appointment got both mani and pedi same time since i was in a time crunch. Overall good service fair pricing , clean salon. Only negative I didn't get a massage after my pedicure which was a bummer . read more

I love Us nails so much! I've been coming here since I was a teenager with my mother. Everyone's very friendly and welcoming. I've been seeing Lani (the owner) and Kevin (her brother) for years! Lani is amazing at manicures/gel/french tips! and I Kevin is great with pedicures- He's also an amazing masseuse-I always ask for extra time for foot massage. This review is for Kevin -- thank you for taking your time and shaping my nails beautifully. I will be a loyal customer now! $12 for a basic manicure you can't beat it. Shop is a bit older and doesn't feel super clean or modern but I don't mind that so much. They have two parking spaces reserved in front of the salon but there are several other spaces in the lot that are first come first serve. Again, this five star review goes to Kevin he was amazing. Was getting a car wash and needed to get my gels removed.. wish I didn't come here. My nails are all cut up, 2 of my nails have deep cuts from the removal process. My nails are sore and painful. Every single nail... on top of that the lady refused to use a cuticle pusher to remove the gel but insisted using her nail. My nails don't even look like I just got a manicure. I wish I would have visited Yelp before I came into this salon. The workers did a half ass job and charged for not completed services. They charged for buffing and my nails are not shiny. They charged for callues removal.. but I had no callues. All these things they added on without stating they was charging for this. For a basic mani + pedicure it stated $30! I lefted paying $80. The services was horrible. And I had no communication from the technicians. Will never come here again!!!! read more

This is the worst nail salon and the lady who did my nail named Julie is the worst nail person I've ever had! She cut my pinky toe with infected callus remover and I got an infection from that and had to go to hospital a few times and emergency room. I had to take antibiotics and had allergic reaction from that and had to go to emergency room and take more medicines to clear up the rashes all over my body! She gave me the refund, but that's not obviously worth my time, money and most importantly pain and suffering. I went through hell and still trying to recover from the injury after a month. It's a one of the worst injuries and worst nightmare I've ever had. I was so mad that I almost sued her. I'm still mad in pain and going to need a therapy even after it's completely healed and now I'm scared to go to nail salons ever again. Please stay away from this place and that lady! read more

This has been my go to salon for about 11 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Hally has done my pedicures and she's always detailed and leaves my toes looking beautiful! The prices are unbeatable and it's a family-run, women-owned business, which I love. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I wouldn't recommend this salon to my worst enemy. I asked for an acrylic refill and a pedicure. My nails look like a student did them -- lumpy and not even. I never ended up getting the pedicure -- I was next and they decided to take another person -- who didn't have an appointment, I did -- before me. My friend's nails turned out terrible. They painted over her cuticles, left a glop of polish on her skin and gave her a pedicure in a bucket of water. Cheap prices, but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for. And they ask you for tips. read more

I go this place for pure convenience just because its a block away from my apartment. I like it- its one of the only places I've gone to where they offer a shoulder massage for 10 minutes for 8.00 Its fine if you say no- they won't give you dirty looks or anything. They are also open until 8PM on weekdays which works really nice for people that work later. I would recommend this place if you live close enough to walk because its in a plaza with limited parking spaces. Its on Ventura so the parking is scarce. read more

Omg! The worst place I have ever gotten my nails done at. The staff is friendly but they don't know how to give a simple Mani. I am posting a picture so you know what I'm talking about. I don't care if staff is friendly I just need them to do a good job. No customer should pay and then walk out unhappy. Super frustrated. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ATTITUDE! Came to get my nails done and the nail technician was so rough I told her several times that she was hurting me. I asked her to be gentle and she had a really bad attitude. I told her if she's in a bad mood I'd rather her not do my nails and she said that if I am in pain then I should file my own nails. Well that kind of defeats the whole point of me coming to get my nails done. Avoid this place! read more

Not sure if names so disrespect intended. The elderly lady that did my pedicure was awesome. The person who did my manicure left my nails dirty under neath. Also gave me a massage and was kind enough to leave oil on my hands and arms. A place of quality would of used a hot towel to take it off. Charged $4.09 to buff mu finger nails which took 30 seconds My massage she did more on 1 side while not paying much attention to the others side. read more

Hell to the NO! I can't believe that this place is still in business. Is it just me or am I just cursed to find all the crappy nail salons in the nation? I was visiting my friend in LA this past weekend, and I wanted a manicure, while she wanted a pedicure. Mind you, she's never been there before, but it was supposedly the closest salon next to her place. Right when we walked in, I thought it was spacious enough. I mean, it was a little dirty, but that again doesn't always measure the quality of work... but I guess this place was EXACTLY how it looked. Basically they did a crappy job with my manicure. They cut it too short, the shaping was whack, and they didn't know what an American style manicure was. They tried to trick me into getting French, but I wasn't having that. Nope. But they effed me over anyway with a color on the tip that was the exact shade of my nails... My friends pedicure was in a bucket and a plastic chair. US Nails is A-OK. Beware: One of the technicians will hound you for a massage, telling you you're tense so you need a 10minute massage for $10. Kindly tell her "No, thank you, that's what my boy toy is for." Then she'll stare at you blankly, because, really, she didn't understand a word you just said. read more

Julie gives a great shoulder/neck massage, she also does great nails! BEWARE THOUGH! THEY UP SELL YOU ON EVERYTHING! I only went here by accident, my place was booked that Sat morning. She talked me into gel color over my fill, than a shoulder/neck massage and the extra foot massage. 78.00 later! WTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH? I usually only spend 34.00 with tip at my usual place, and they do much better pedicures. i have to give it to them they hustle, but I have since not been back, due to the prices. It also cost me 5.00 extra to get the gel color removed at my usual place when I went for a fill. They said oh, they got you good! I learned my lesson, not to do gel color over acrylic nails. Sorry I would only go back for the massage. read more

I went with my mom and the woman who was giving her a pedicure did not understand that my mom said the water she was pouring on her feet was too hot, so she kept pouring and my mother began to scream in pain! Absolutely the worst manicure and customer service I have experienced! I explained to the receptionist that my nails are damaged from chemotherapy and that they would need to be gentle. She agreed implying that she understood my need. Clearly she did not. She filled my very delicate nails to the position that they have now split and are peeling off. I would steer clear of this place at all cost. read more

Julie is awesome!! I get Gels done on my hands and I always ask for Julie, because she really does great job! The only other person I would go to if Julie was not avail, is the manager of the place that sits on the front desk. They have a lot of colors to choose from when it comes to gels. However, no one else there really can do nails like a pro!!! I keep going back to Julie, but she is a busy girl of coarse. The manager should give her a raise for keeping the place a float ... in the mean time... I'll be going to ... yes you got it - Julie. read more

I used to come here to see a guy named Tony. Best pedicure + massage in town. Sadly, he left a long time ago. I hadn't been back until last night. Needed a quick manicure, so I decided to stop in since it was on my way home. For $12, I wasn't that impressed. Felt like she was phoning it in. The massage on my hands and arms kind of sucked. She cut too far into my cuticles and it hurt like hell. She didn't even shape my nails evenly. I guess it depends on who you get. Maybe someone else would do a better job? The only good part? The neck and shoulder massage. I got 15 minutes for $12. It was great. Hard and strong, just the way I like it. read more

The Yelp caption for a two star rating reads as follows: "Meh. I've experienced better." Too true. . . I've had some decent experiences here, and I've had some less than stellar-- Nothing that really stands out from everything else, though. One word of advice: If you're planning on getting a mani & pedi, tell them at the same time, otherwise they'll get angry and half-ass everything if you ask for a mani partway through your pedicure-- Definitely what kept this from a three star review. Otherwise, parking is fine, and the prices are acceptable. read more

Worst shop ever, I don't know what kid of mustard brown wax they use but, it's not hot nor does it seem sanitary since they dip the same stick in the wax over and over again. They do not know how to wax eyebrows nor lips! She left the wax on me for like 1 min before pulling the hair, left bumps and ripped skin on my lip. I literally showed the lady a picture of my eyebrows done by my normal salon and she couldn't match it, said everyone has different eyebrows......but, the picture was of me. Crazy never again five thumbs down.....please go out of business or hire technicians that can actually do the job correctly. read more

The prices were SUDDENLY very high, higher than last time. The nail polish cracked after a few days, meaning that their colors were quite old. However, against our better judgement we still decided to go a third (and last) time to this place. To start off, all of the nail techs always seem to be in a hurry. They don't spend enough time on the manicure/pedicure and the clean out. They rush, even though there are no clients to rush to. In this rush, they have cut my mom's cuticles, to the point of bleeding. During the clean out of the cuticles and gel removal, my nail tech wasn't really focused, and went too rough on my nails. Had to tell him several times to be more GENTLE PLEASE. With the rush, once again, the color job itself turned out to be terrible. Not only, have they BLOBBED the polish so much that it ended up in layers under the nails, but they also managed to leave uncolored spots on the nails. The prices skyrocketed, even though we just got a regular color. It sucked. P.S- Oh and to people with fur allergies. They have a dog wandering around the salon and sitting EVERYWHERE. I love dogs, a lot, but this dog was shedding a ton and was quite stinky. Now I'm itching from the fur.

They called me after I left a message at 10:38am. They set an appointment for me for 6pm. I've been told I have to wait for 40 minutes since no one is available for someone to drive here! This is my experience! Wicked manager came in and was so rude on fixing the nail! No apology. I should file a dispute with my bank for the full amount! Such rude entitled wicked witches! UPDATE SINCE MY POST ON 11/24/25 A TOTAL OF FIVE NAILS HAVE POPPED OFF. ONE TODAY! They must love me coming there for them to fix my nails during my work and business week. NEVER AN APOLOGY!!!!! UPDATE: THE MANAGER TRIED TO CHARGE ME. I SAID THATS FINE AND THEN SHE SAID GIMME CASH! I TOLD HER I DO NOT CARRY CASH. SHE SAID WELL OUR CREDIT CARD MACHINE IS BROKEN!!! THIS IS MY FIFTH NAIL THAT HAS POPPED OFF AND YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID.....I REFUSE YOU SERVICE!!!!! I SAW YOUR REVIEW! AND WITCH????? DEVIL WORSHIPER VOODOO SCAM ARTST WITCHES ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR HORRIBLE WORK OR ACTIONS!!!!!! They probably did a voodoo for nails to pop off like press on nails. Come to this nail embarrassment if you want to pay for 2025 LEE PRESS ON NAILS THAT POP OFF!!!!!! Look up close at how much hard gel she used that's why my nails are popping off like Lee press on nails I work too hard for my money. I tipped Lulu And they charge me $70 for my bill and I thought it was reasonable but it's been the biggest headache of my life. I mean to have to go in there five times and then walk out of there with my nails looking exactly how they look in the second picture no apology no assuming responsibility for poor quality work or poor quality customer service I should've known something when she said we're used to having mostly Armenian clients. I really did not pick up anything until I came in with my fifth Nail popped off and she wanted cash and she said the credit card machine was broken at this point based in the way I was treated tonight. I am going to seek legal council. They are horrible evil wicked Fraudulent scam artist

My nail tech took her time, paid close attention to detail, and really made sure everything looked sharp and well-groomed. She explained each step, checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and you could tell she genuinely cared about the quality of her work. The manicure came out super clean -- my hands and nails look and feel amazing. What I appreciated the most was how relaxing the whole service was. Lilit and the staff never fail me. I tend to come in with a few broken nails, they always fix it & make them pretty again! I've tried Gel x to grow my nails out, that was awesome too! Hard gel is my go to, since I always break my nails we're back on the journey to grow them back again. Love the music, everyone's energy & vibes.
