I came to this nail shop on a whim and glad that I did because Mike and Tina are great, my nails look so good! I highly recommend it!

My normal place, my nail tech is out for the next few weeks due to an injury, so I thought I would give this place a try since they were offering a $5 coupon. Was this a mistake? Let me start off by saying, I hate when then nail tech that does your pedicure and the one that does your nails are 2 totally different people! The 2 stars are STRICTLY for the young lady that did my pedicure! She was kind, took her time, and painted my feet like a grown person should. My nails.... looks like a kid tried to paint them. I'm having to peel acrylic off my skin... She "tried" to fix it, but nah! This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Covid - this is all about skill! I guess she thought the more oil she put on my nails, the less I would notice. It's a definite NO for me going forward. I will not frequent this business again - NO THANK YOU! I paid $97 for pedicure (regular polish) & fill in (gel polish)

This is the photo I showed Mike, these are my nails. This is the artwork I got done in my hometown - NOT THIS SALONS WORK.

Holy f**king sh*t Batman. Anyone reading these reviews, DO NOT GO HERE! My a** got followed outside after demanding a refund for the horrible service I received. It's pretty comical, actually. I am traveling for work, so I understand it can be a gamble going to a new salon. I took a risk coming to the spot. I pep-talked to myself thinking, "how bad could a manicure really go? This is their business, right?" Wrong. My nail tech is named Mike, (I think he is the owner) He was so kind and I loved the conversation. I told him I travel for work and I am not from here. Other than the bad nail job, I really did enjoy my time at the salon. I showed Mike a photo of my nails and how I like them (I also posted the same photo to this yelp review for good leisure and comparison), he obliged. I always do dip nails with added tip, coffin shaped. I asked for them to be a short as possible with the coffin shape - he said he wasn't able to make them the length I requested - which is also wrong because, well, you can. Once he added the tips, I had noticed that my pointer finger tips were LITERALLY pointed downward. I should have taken a photo. I asked Mike to fix it, he said "thank you for letting me know. I can straighten them out when the dip is added, filed and buffed out." Instantly, I thought how thick that would make them and I started to question the remainder of the service. Once he finished, I asked him to make them thinner because of how bulky and unnatural they looked - he obliged, but responded with, "with dip, you can't make them look as natural because of the tip and they need to be strong enough to hold the tip." Also wrong - these nails looked worse than my 2009 high school junior prom with acrylics. He started buffing them out, making them thinner. I realized he was in a rush because he wasn't taking his time, wasn't paying attention to detail (at all through out the service, I may add) and cut the edge of my cuticle making me bleed. I paid $55 for this service and left a $10 tip (I believe in tipping accordingly, I've been working in the food industry for 9 years) (20% would have been $11). It wasn't until I had the time to look at them and use my hands until I realized just how unnatural and heavy they really were. Mind you, for anyone who invests in nails - you know how important it is to get a good manicure. My nails, just as much as my hair and clothes, is a representation of my personality. I am paying your business to represent me - so I can represent YOU! It gets better.. They have this thing where you sign in on an iPad when you walk in. It asks for your name, number, email address, etc - which is probably nice for the people who live close by to send promotions or coupons to. After the service was done, you will receive a text asking for a review. I didn't get to that until the next day, where I left one star. I receive a text message directly from Mike saying he is sorry and he will redo them free of charge. I texted back and explained I don't have time to redo them because I travel to Baltimore in the next few days and I would like a refund and to have them be removed. (I posted a screen shot of our conversion on this yelp review). He did not oblige. We agreed I would meet him on Monday, Feb 10th at 10am - 1 hour before I need to leave for my trip. The day comes. I walk in, polite, feeling a bit uncomfortable because I absolutely dread being this kind of person - but here I am hoping for the best. Mike is a couple minutes late. He walks in about 15 min late, apologizes again and is willing to help. Mike and the two other nail techs were there. They gave me 3 options: 1) remove them and do a new set free of charge. 2) file them down, fix them to my liking. 3) remove them None of these options offered a refund. They have a sign that says they don't offer refunds - but how could I trust them to fix/give a new set when they did such an awful job in the first place? I didn't have enough time other than to remove them - I didn't need new nails from them after that. After I explained my concern, Mike started to raise his voice and walk towards the front desk while pointing to the "No Refund" sign. At this point, what am I paying for? Who has my money now that I want to remove my nails? I paid for a service I didn't receive. I am paying for a mistake that THEIR SALON made. I made an investment in THEIR mistake. After that, I asked for my tip back. Mike took out his wallet, pulled $20 out and asked me to leave. THEY DIDNT EVEN REMOVE MY NAILS! Here I am with WORLDSTAR in the back of my mind so I just start laughing and walking out. But then Mike starts following me outside saying "DON'T COME BACK HERE!!" I'm actually rudely laughing at this point (God help me) because I don't even live in this state and he knows that. Am I the a**hole here? Maybe. But now I'm sipping Starbucks, on my way to Baltimore, with these C H O N K Y a** nails on my fingers, giggling about the entire thing.

Nails after soak off.

I want to start by saying that I love Anna and Mike, they always go above an beyond to make sure I have a great experience. However, this last time I went in for SNS and was seated in an older Asian lady's chair and from the severely outdated nail tools, to dipping my finger and an old SNS jar, I chose to end the service and ask for a soak off. She left my nails like the picture in the photo and charged me $15, which I willingly paid because I felt so bad. However, her severe lack of customer care and detail made me feel like if I had "looked" like a higher paying customer I would've received better treatment. I rated this two star because, like I sad, Mike and Anna are awesome. Always ask for them (if) when you go to this location.

Feriel is amazing!!! I moved to NC for the summer and I have been going to her for acrylic fill ins. She is so detail oriented, so thorough, and frequently makes sure that I love what she is doing. She is also so friendly. She mentioned to me that she loves to do designs so I brought a photo of a design I liked and she was able to copy the design exactly and I am in love with them :) she's given me the best pedicure ever!

Very very overpriced. Polish is extra when you get fills or a new set done??? The tech did an ok…read morejob but these people are not honest about the prices of their services. Won't be back. Too many other nail salons that are better.

If you are a person of color I disadvise spending your money at this establishment. The lady that…read moredid my pedicure tried to upsell me when I already told her what I wanted. I asked for a basic pedicure for $40 and she continued to be pushy and try to upsell the $85 pedicure after I told her no several times. During the pedicure she rushed the service while rudely talking and laughing the entire time not really paying attention to my pedicure. Then I had polish residue that she didn't want to correct but talked about to the other nail tech., I then asked her to correct it. Why rudely & disrespectfully talk about it instead of correcting it? When it was time for my nails she had to take off three and tried to do it by pulling it up with a tip nail, when I told her it hurt she said I will soak it. I feel that should have been the first option and good customer service. I actually feel vacuous for letting her complete the job. I should have gotten up and went to my normal nail place when she wouldn't take no for an answer. I can tell she was upset that she didn't get to mistreat or give me subpar service as the others were not receiving. This was my very first time not tipping properly for a service. I actually wish that I had left her anything. I was also not offered a drink but my pedicure was $55
