Came in for a mani & pedi, waited in the massage chairs for an hour before anyone saw us. The pedicures were okay. The way they do SNS manicures is a bit unorthodox. Both my partner and I were cut with either a drill, buffer, or file during the manicures. Shaping of the nails is off but after being there for 3 hours, it wasn't worth speaking up. Certain steps for both the pedicures and manicures were missed. A little expensive for the quality of work, but it will hold up. Overall, not the worst salon experience I've ever had but definitely the longest. Update: 24 hours later and 2 of my nails are cracked. 100% not worth spending $55 on an SNS manicure. read more

I popped into this shop because it was located in the shopping center where I was running a bunch of errands. In a nutshell, this was the best pedicure I have ever had. The nail tech was a guy, which was a little weird having my feet rubbed by someone other than my husband. But he was thorough, professional and provided a great reflexology foot massage. They are getting 4 stars and not 5 because the salon manager was rather pushy trying to get me to upgrade my pedicure. But I simply picked what I wanted and said "no thank you" for anything else. Technician, Nhi, was kind enough, but it goes somewhat south from there. It was obvious that she was inexperienced ( to the point that she did my Pedi/Mani in pedi area; even though there was an empty mani table). She had to be guided (which she abided). Sharp, pointed tool used under great toe, had to be stopped from use, because of the discomfort/pain (which remains). Great toe had slight angle cut on nail ends, which is best cut straight to avoid ingrown nails. Filing should take place after cut to prevent sharpness/snags. No buffing done on fingers or toes. And feet should have had more soaking. There's work to be done when it comes to technician & performance. It did appear that certain people got more attention to their service ( of course, not sure of their service). Again, I shouldn't have had my Mani at the pedi area; especially with an empty mani area. Reviews showed 4.5, but I say 3 at best; or a 2. I get Pedi/ Mani (mainly pedi) several times a year, so my feet aren't hard work. It was just my usual person is out of the country, I gave this place a chance. read more

FLOR is Exceptional! I thought my friend was exaggerating about her manicures & pedicures. She is thorough & therefore they really last so much longer since I switched to her! Horrible experience last week. Pressured then rushed. Quoted one price and charged another by very rude nail tech. My Technician was crude and very rough. I have pictures to back up the bruises on my upper arm and the black and ragged nails from the so-called manicure. My toenails are jagged and half way painted. Her long pigtails kept smearing my polish and it was gross. Granddaughter's technician argued with her when she told her 3 times her shoes would mess up her polish (she kept saying no and pushing them on) and fill in on gel nails took an hour and are ugly and weird shaped. With no appointment on the books, I took my chances as a walk-in client. The man that works on my acrylic fill in was very kind and accommodating. I mentioned to him several times that I was deaf and a lip reader. Not his fault at all, but the plastic COVID shield and the mask wearing (I'm a lip reader by "nature" and I mentioned it to him before I ever sat down. He continued to speak in his foreign language (foreign to ME) with the worker at the station right beside me! BOTH manicurists continued to laugh and point at me. Obviously, I had no idea what they were talking about, but I felt very embarrassed. I will not revisit this establishment. I rarely take the time to leave a lengthy review, much less a negative one...but I was really disappointed with my experience here last weekend. My mom and I made an appointment for 2 pedicures. The woman who did mine was obviously new and in the process of learning and being trained. Fine, no biggie. Everyone has to start somewhere. It did take her an hour and half to get through the pedicure. The owner of the store came by twice to fix her polish and at the end there probably ending up being 5 or more coats of color on my toes. I waited another half hour or so before I left to dry. Then I wore flip flops for another 3 hours after to ensure my toes would be dry. When I got home from dinner that evening after putting on covered shoes 3 hours post pedicure, the polish had heavily smudged and/or completely wiped off of over half my toes. The same thing unfortunately happened with my mom's polish. When we called the next day to inquire about a fix, the only thing they would offer was a polish re-do if we came in that week. No refund, no complimentary next pedicure. My mom and I both live 45 min+ away, we just happened to be shopping in town that day. We were out $75 in pedicures and unable to to make it back in for a re-polish. Very disappointing. :( read more

Not a totally disappointment, but close. I splurged on the 35 dollar pedicure, which including 7 minutes of reflexology. Well, their idea of reflexiology and my idea of reflexology were two different things. Their idea was to rub my legs with hot stones and press some pressure points on feet. They spent maybe a total of 20 seconds on my feet and the rest of the time rubbing my legs. Had I know that was their idea of reflexology, I would have skipped the upgrade and gotten a basic pedicure. Then, when the pedicure was fished, the technician handed me a nail file and buffer (which turns out all new clients have to buy). I was not told beforehand that there would be an extra charge for these items. Granted it was only a dollar, but still, it was my dollar. I was told that I could "talk with the manager" if I had a concern about buying these items. I decided not to because I don't like to complain about a dollar. I will say that the actual pedicure was done well, but I'll never go there again. So, if you go - get a basic pedicure and get out of there. I always love a good LivingSocial deal so I couldn't pass up the $12 pedicure. But what a weird experience! First of all, the lighting in this place resembled a football field. I thought salons were supposed to be relaxing and calming to your soul? Next up, I was seated in a chair that had the equipment in the tub still dangling from it. The guy who was going to do my pedicure came and actually cleaned the tub while I was sitting there. Um. Whaaaaat? He kept talking to me throughout the process- I may be unusual but I usually like to stay non-verbal during any spa experience. Please don't ask me what I do, if I'm in school, or what my mother's middle name is. I had to pay for the nail file? Seri? I have never had that happen before. He told me that I could "bring it back for sanitary reasons" next time I came. No thanks. Finally, I had to wait quite a while, first for someone to come help me at all, then for them to check me out so I could leave. Tick tock, tick tock. I went here and received horrible customer service from the tech and the owner. The tech cut my foot during my pedicure and did not apologize. I proceeded to ask for a discount and she responds saying "for that little cut" "the cut wasn't even that big". That's not the way you respond to a customer who is upset about you cutting their foot. I could easily get an infection from a cut, whether small or big. I had to wait 15 min before the owner even approached me about the situation. I proceed to explain and then she cuts me off and goes over to the register to check another customer out. She comes back and now I'm more upset that I've waited patiently and then was cut off as I began to explain my issue. I would not advise anyone to go to this business. There was a customer who was waiting and left after seeing how I was treated. It was completely unacceptable. I will never go back to this location and I hope you don't as well. read more

Both technicians were professional and meticulous with their work. The venue was very clean and took every precaution to protect employees and clients during the Covid-19 pandemic. Don't get me wrong I like pets as much as the next girl and I've had dogs. I just didn't think it was professional to have their dog there. The prices are reasonable for NC. IN SHORT: DO NOT GET AN EYEBROW WAX HERE. I just got a mani, pedi, & eyebrow wax at US nails. My mani and pedi were fine (despite the reflexology portion of the pedicure lasting only 15 minutes as opposed to the 22 minutes listed on the menu), but the eyebrow wax was truly devastating. The technician clearly had zero idea what she was doing: I explained that I wanted to keep my eyebrows full, and to only "clean them up." She instead completely re-shaped my naturally arched eyebrows into rounded ones, they're hilariously thin, and they aren't even the same matching shape of horrible. I tried to keep myself from crying while I explained to her that I couldn't possibly pay for this. She was very sweet, clearly puzzled, and the entire scenario was made sadder by the fact that she was totally impervious to what I was saying due to a language barrier. I didn't complain to management because I didn't want to get her personally in trouble, because really it's not her fault: she was obviously so poorly trained that she couldn't even understand why I was upset--she couldn't see why the eyebrow wax she had performed was so horribly subpar. I am loathe to write negative reviews, but I would hate for someone else to go home ugly crying in her car because her eyebrows have practically been shaved off compared to their former state. read more
