Awful. Do not let these people put chemicals anywhere near your eyes…read more I came today for a lash lift and tint service, and to say I'm beyond regretful is an understatement. (I normally go to Katy Heyings in Durham, but wasn't able to schedule with her before my flight out this Thursday. Highly recommend going to her if you're thinking about getting a lash lift and tint.) My appointment was at 10:30 AM, and for this service, I'm usually in and out within the hour. I, however, was here for 2 HOURS. The technicians were so focused on quantity and on bouncing between clients that the quality of service was nonexistent. My technician used so much perming and tinting solution during the lash lift and tint service that it began to sear my eyes and burn my eyelids. I asked if they had anything to flush my eyes with (which any qualified technician should have when using chemicals near the eyes), only to be given wet paper towels. I was genuinely surprised that this place hasn't been sued yet, if this is standard practice. Post service, my lashes are now extremely over-processed to the point where, every time I open my eyes, they get stuck in my eyelid crease, and my bottom lashes are fried and crimped every which way outside of a lovely curl. Don't get me started on how sore and raw my eyes are. I've included a picture showcasing the lashes and how irritated my eyes STILL are 2 hours after. You can look at other recent reviews specifically for this service and see individuals quoting the same issues. I've had this service done so many other times and have never had this issue. The high reviews are misleading and mainly focus on brow services; I should have been more cautious. Hopefully, this review can help keep someone else safe in the future. Save your money, save your time, and save your lashes. Avoid this place at all costs.

For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. A simple "sorry that happened" would have totally saved this fiasco. Even for private business, customer service requires the skills to be gracious, and that was sadly lacking. I am an ally of the clear community and prefer to patronize small women or businesses, but this one for sure is crossed off my list.

I LOVE going to this place. I have been getting my eyebrows done at WOW eyebrows even before they had the building location. I am a student from UNC and travel all the way to Durham to get my eyebrows done first at the mall, and now at their new location. I am super picky about my eyebrows, since I like them to be thick and long and haven't never been disappointed by their work. I also love that I am always receiving compliments on how well defined and beautiful my eyebrows are. I have referred some of my friends to this location and they have loved their work too! If you want to have a beautiful and elegant appearance, I would highly recommend going to WOW eyebrows! Also I always a great time chatting with the ladies who work here. When I come in, I know they recognize me and are already thinking what I will say "Thick and long eyebrows please" and they never disappoint me :) Plus, it never hurts, the threading process feel therapeutic :) read more

I had never heard of this until recently. All of a sudden all my friends seemed to be going to WOW Brows. I have really sensitive skin and waxing just kills my face and makes me break out and it's a drag plucking hundreds of hairs. I went and decided to do my whole face. It does sting, much like waxing, but... NO breakouts! WOW is right. The lady I had was very nice and I really loved what she did with my brows! I have almost blonde eyebrows so she showed me their brow powder and what a huge difference it makes. I look so much better with just a little bit on my now newly sculpted eyebrows and hair free face! When I was there the last time one of my friends walked in and then one of her friends did too. Wish I could give NO STAR ...Never had my eyebrows messed up until I went to visit wow brows .bitchy staff and long wait.jessie is sweet one min and bitchy the next ..I get my brows done with Jessie and she give me scabs on my skin.horrible experience never again ..i don't think she knows how to give shapes or clean the eyebrows .I been doing my brows done for long time.I was very confused to try eyebrows threading with her as soon I went ..she was very loud and rude girl..there are plenty of places like chandni's and shapes in southpoint area that do a very good job threading for which I don't have to deal with attitude for a paid service.. read more

I am very specific about my eyebrows and made a request and she screwed it up! This is the second time that I requested my brows be done a certain way and they messed them up. I tried going back a few times but this last time was not good. I was appreciative of the owner who apologized and offered the service for free but I now have lopsided brows!! Very frustrating so I am looking for another place to get my brows threaded and preferably by Indians who developed this method originally. read more

I had an awesome experience at WOW Brow. I love my eyebrows every time I go. I am allergic to wax so to find a clean environment with friendly workers was very important to me. Due to being allergic to wax my choices where very limited because there are not allot of threading places in my city. I also love that WOW Brow is in a enclosed area for those people like myself that don't want to be in the middle of the mall. read more

Anu was so sweet and made it so much fun. She even touched up one place on my brows for free and spent time teaching us how to fill in our brows. I work full time and I can't just take off for a body treatment. She called me and spoke with me and confirmed the appointment for that Saturday. It was confirmed. I show up exactly at our agreed time on the Saturday we agreed upon. The salon is locked. It is 97 degrees outside and the sun is blazing on me. I wait in the sun for 10 minutes before I give up and call the salon to leave a message about my appointment. I had childcare that day so I could get my skin some much needed attention. It was all paid for. Then I get a call from Hanna. She started telling me how she called and left multiple messages and texts informing me she had cancelled. I told her I've got nothing from her. Then she tells me how I never confirmed my appointment. I remind her that she personally spoke with me on the phone to confirm it. After she is done defending how it's not much of her fault for ruining my Saturday, I lose all my patience and ask her if she had been contacting a wrong number. She realizes that was a possibility. Offers me an alternate day. I had to accept after a 25 minutes argument that she wasn't going to show up and that was a day completely wrecked. It messed with me because spa days are supposed to be relaxing and this woman clearly just didn't get it. She calls me back in a few minutes confirming she had the wrong number all along, a mistake she made noting it down. So why the 5 stars? I got her microdermabrasion facial today. She was AMAZING. She is very talented, but that's not what got her 5 stars. She made me feel like she genuinely made a mistake, she compensated for my childcare expenses with a service and she went above and beyond to make this a great experience for me. It was impossible to stay mad at her. Even when her errs, she wins. As far as her skills are concerned, she is PERFECT. I'll never look for another aesthetician again.
