Egg sandwich and the focaccia sandwich.. wow, i had the egg sandwich and it was juicy. The service was swift. The environment is a cute date spot. side note: grab some tapatio on the way out, if you're taking it to go
Go early!! It gets super busy!! Indoor and patio/outdoor seating is nice. No parking lot. The menu is very big but they have a nice amount of options. I got the salmon lox eggs Benedict $20.75. They could've been poached for a bit longer. The white was a bit runny still. The honeydew and strawberries on the side were very ripe and not sour at all. Tasted decent, nothing crazy. We got the huevos rancheros too. The portion size was good. It was borderline salty so it just passed. It had very good flavor and the tortilla on the side was a nice touch. Good with scrambled eggs in my opinion. We got strawberry match and honey vanilla latte. Nothing special from either of the drinks. If you like sweet get the strawberry matcha. The seats outside are kind of uncomfortable. Careful of the seagulls have someone watch your food at all times lol. Overall 6/10 place

The server who brought our order was very kind and helpful Wait time to get into the restaurant was about 15 mins and to get our order about another 15 so it wasn't too bad. Pistachio coffee was ok as well. It's pricey, so read reviews or take a recommendation from a foodie friend before visiting. Inside of the store is beautiful and they had the AC running which was great on such a hot day I do wish I had tried the pastries but we ordered too much. Next time!

The place is always bustling and people park 2 - 3 blocks away just to have a taste of their goodness. The blueberry cheesecake is always a must... Sometimes we eat one there and then take one to go. This time we also tried the tiramisu and Spanish latte granita... both were delicious! I tried the pancetta pizza and after one slice and about 30 minutes, I started getting a migraine. No more for me... the combination of cheese and Italian meat or too salty for my brain. Oh well, I'll have to try something else next time hehehe...

They have a big selection of menu items, mostly healthy meals and delicious-looking desserts. This time we just dropped by to order a smoothie. I liked their Amazon Forest Smoothie made with açaí. It was refreshing and beautiful with a flower on top. I just wish it wasn't so crowded all the time.

Dropped by here for a chocolate chip cookie and a cinnamon honey almond milk latte. The drink was delicious. The chocolate chip cookie a bit dry. My friend got the Aloha Matcha, it was refreshing and rich with tasty coconut and delicious matcha flavor with strawberry purée. The staff was great and setting very spacious with plenty of outdoor seating and interior tables. They offer vegan and vegetarian options. I'd come back for the coffee, Aloha Matcha, and try other things in their menu.
I've always been a fan of Urth Caffé and make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the LA area. Honestly, I really wish they'd open a location in San Diego because I'd probably be there way too often! What I love most about Urth is that they have so many organic and healthier food and drink options without sacrificing flavor. This time, I stopped by with a friend after a workout for some drinks and a little treat. I tried their new Aloha Matcha, and it was so refreshing. I loved the combination of coconut and spirulina, and the fact that it's vegan was a huge bonus. It tasted light, tropical, and perfect for a warm day. I also got the Vegan Chocolate Chunk Pecan Cookie, which was delicious. And when I say huge, I mean HUGE. Definitely big enough to share... although you might not want to. My friend ordered a hot caffe latte, which never disappoints. It came out with beautiful latte art, and of course we had to stop and take a few pictures before drinking it. The service here is always quick and easy. You order at the counter, grab a number, and they bring everything right to your table. This was actually my first time visiting the Laguna Beach location, and I absolutely loved it. The building reminds me of a charming cottage-style house with a large patio. Inside feels cozy and homey with dining table setups, warm decor, and even a fireplace. There's also plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas. We ended up sitting outside to enjoy the sunny weather and fresh ocean breeze. The atmosphere was so relaxing that we ended up staying longer than we planned. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
We enjoyed this brunch spot overall and would come back again. Service was good, the patio was dog friendly, and the wait was around 20 minutes, which was not too bad for brunch. Food was good too. I had the napoleon cake. It was not the best one I ever had, but still pretty tasty, and the slice was huge. I couldn't finish it. My boyfriend got the beef hash and liked it. I had a latte and he got a smoothie, both were pretty decent. Only a couple small negatives. The metal chairs were very uncomfortable, especially if you wear a dress, so I'd recommend wearing pants. Also, the beef hash portion could've been a little bigger, maybe with more fries or a small salad on the side.

The coffee was just okay, nothing special. There is also only one restroom for the entire establishment, which is inconvenient, especially when it's busy. To top it off, we waited about 30 minutes for our food, which is simply too long. Overall, the service, food wait time, and atmosphere were disappointing, and unfortunately, I wouldn't rush back.
I'm a long time fan of their tea lattes & especially their matcha lattes because they have high quality organic, aromatic & delicious teas. Recently I tried the Aloha Matcha which has blue spirulina, coconut & strawberry puree (that's the only sweetener) & loved it! Their iced green rose latte is still my favorite. They use simple, real ingredients, not artificial stuff.

Absolutely loved the fresh-pressed apple juice--it tasted incredibly fresh and naturally sweet. We tried both the avocado pizza and the avocado toast, and while both were good, I actually preferred the avocado toast. The bread was perfectly toasted, and all the toppings worked really well together. Our toddler couldn't get enough of the mac & cheese, and he happily finished a big portion. The fresh fruit was a nice addition too. We enjoyed the relaxed outdoor seating and had a wonderful brunch. Looking forward to coming back! read more
Urth Caffe was alright. I can't say I was blown away. The food came out pretty quick, but I felt like it left a little to be desired. They have very little in the way of meat options. Which, for breakfast, is kind of a must for me. The protein they did offer wasn't my favorite either. I was kind of surprised that they didn't even offer a meat addition for the breakfast sandwich on the menu. So, I went with the breakfast burrito instead. Maybe it's worth another try, and ordering something different. That said, my first experience here wasn't ideal. read more

We were in the area and excited to try this Cafe since it was popular on social media. We ordered the mushroom pizza ($20.95), the tuna salad ($7.25) and two drinks (~$11 and $10 each). Our pizza came out cold which was disappointing considering we waited 42 minutes for the food. The tuna salad wasn't the best. The drinks also looked nothing like the photos. This service felt underprepped. They were out of straws, other customers were complaining about missing items, and overall unhappy customers it sounded like. The ambiance was nice, I will say. Other than that, the food for dinner specifically wasn't exceptional. read more

I've been to Urth Caffé several times bc Laguna Beach is one of my favorite places to hang out. I usually stop by after spending time at the dog beach with my dogs and it's become part of my routine. This visit, we ordered a few breakfast items and one of their flatbreads to share. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. I also tried one of their drinks. It was okay, but it wasn't really my favorite. I love the outdoor patio, it has a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect after a morning at the beach. Even when it's busy, the staff is always friendly, and the service is efficient. read more
So great corner location here in Laguna Beach off Aster and N Coast Hwy(PCH) diagonally located across Laguna Art Museum. Since this was just an afternoon snack, ordered a Spanish style Cappuccino and a bagel. Twas a good drink but bagel was meh. It was afternoon so i can't fault them too much but it was a bit chewy and stale imho. Service was you standard fare for an order at the counter and given a number to set atop your chosen seating. This Cafe has a great variety of coffee drinks (latte, espresso, cappuccino), baked goods, savory and delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On this occasion, I bought pizzas to go for the Super Bowl. We had the Margarita (cheese and basil) and Pizza El Diablo (spicy chicken, cilantro, jalepeno and cheese). Everything looks scrumptious with hearty portions. Sample menu highlights: Omelets, French Toast, Banana Nut Waffles, Eggs Benedict, Albacore Tuna, Panini sandwiches, Quiche, Turkey Burgers, to Nicoise Salad, Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Salad, Lasagna, Fruit Bowls and Parfaits. Save room for dessert pies, sticky buns, and bread pudding! Wash it all down with tea, juice, Boba, a milkshake or smoothie! Phenomenal! I was in Laguna for 9 days and ate there for 9 days! The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. You can feel that they really care and pay attention to detail. It is busy but extremely organized. You can clearly see why Urth had succeeded despite it being a bit pricey. Corn waffle, lasagna, avocado toast, date shake, avocado pizza, vegan panini all delicious! I will return again and again. read more

10.11.25 - 1st time trying out this place. It was packed and there was a pretty long line out the door. I can't remember how long we waited but it gives you plenty of time to look over the menu. They take your order at the door, then you pay when you get to the register, then you find a seat. We found a spot around the corner outside in the shade. Our order: Pistachio Latte Margherita Pizza Strawberry Matcha Lasagna Chocolate Chip Cookie Unfortunately, the items I chose weren't so satisfying and wish I had gone with one of their breakfast dishes instead and a different drink too. Pistachio latte was meh. Would go with a matcha latte or a different flavored coffee if I ever visit any of their locations again. The pizza is a bit thick. It's mostly cheese with a few pieces of cherry tomatoes and one basil leaf. I would pass on this. Pass on the chocolate chip cookie too. It was dry, not soft and chewy. We liked the lasagna though. It was a decent size, saucy and had good flavor. Can't remember if the salad came with the lasagna or the pizza but that was refreshing. Can't mess up a salad! read more

Great location for the views and a huge variety on the menu you can't go wrong at Urthh cafe. And they have Thee BEST foam artists around! (See my pics) Parking can be tough since it's on PCH in Laguna Beach. Staff is friendly, our order was accurate, the lines are long but there's plenty of seating inside and out. Love that they have soy milk as an option. read more
1st time at this location and I must say it's pretty hard to beat compared to Orange, etc. They key features that make Urth Urth are still there- pretty dishes, long waits, and overpriced meals but at least now you have such a beautiful view to enjoy it. I got the sunrise pizza which was delicious but very heavy and a slice of berries and cream cake. Cake was great, but not better than Whole Food's Chantilly. Matcha is too watered down for my liking. read more

I've been coming to this Urth location for years, and the experience is always the same -- great food, great location, and always a line. Weekends get especially crowded, so expect a wait, but that's pretty standard for Laguna. The brunch items are solid. The veggie pizza and panini are pretty good and their desserts (the blueberry cheesecake especially) are always a hit. It's an easy go-to spot if you want something casual but good while you're in the area. Not the place for a quiet meal, but definitely reliable for a classic Laguna brunch. read more
Been here multiple times. Solid place to get dessert and lattes. My favorite dessert is their blueberry cheesecake - my favorite type of cheesecake. Best blueberry cheesecake I can find in OC. So divine. Better than Cheesecake factory. 10/10. Fun fact: cheesecake factory doesn't sell blueberry cheesecake so Im happy Urth has it. If the crust was twice as thick with bit more sauce it would be even better! Spanish latte also great. The food is good too but not my preference. Service friendly but slow. Matcha lattes need work and not as good. The fresh brewed black tea was good. The green tea was bitter. Overall 4 stars for me and would return for their cheesecake. read more
Urth Caffe is a great place to meet for breakfast and lunch in Laguna Beach. It offers a lot selections from omelettes, vege/fruit bowl, to sandwiches, among others. It also has a good selection of coffees. I ordered a large coffee as I don't think there is refill. One of my friends ordered a latte. The guy ordered a green tea boba really liked it. Almost everyone sitted outside in the patio to enjoy the fabulous ocean view and the breeze. Although it doesn't have any table for large paty, there is a row of 2-seaters in the side patio that can accommodate 16 people. The line at the front doors are people waiting to place their orders. You get a number after you pay for your order. A server will deliver everything to your table. No one will stop by to check on you. It's really a 3.5 star place but I round it up for the view. read more

Years later and my opinion still remains a 5 star. Seems like the people who have given low reviews here have a lack of patience. This place is well known and popular, and i'm not even a California native and understand this. This place is not for you if you're in a rush to go somewhere!! It's meant to be a place for savoring and relaxing. The food takes 15-18 minutes max to get and this is something i've experience even during their busiest rushes. Tables also aren't going to magically/automatically be cleaned 30 seconds after a previous party gets up from their table, it will take 5 minutes between rotations...SO now onto my review: This is hands-down my favorite Urth Caffé location--Laguna Beach takes the top spot for me, with Santa Monica coming in second. I tried the ricotta squash pizza, and it was soooo bomb--the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Their matcha was solid too, smooth with no chunks at all, which is always a win in my book. The wait gets long so go early because the view and ambiance is worth it in my opinion. The atmosphere at this location is cozy and bright, making it a perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a peaceful meal. The staff is friendly, and everything feels fresh and well-made. Honestly, it's the kind of place I could visit over and over without getting tired of it. read more
I had such high expectations for this place bc all the desserts looked so delicious but unfortunately they did not taste good. I ordered a slice of the coconut cloud cake and the individual pistachio tiramisu and they were so insanely overpriced and unappetizing. coconut cloud cake: 5/10, I like the coconut flavor but the texture reminded me of kinetic sand and it kept crumbling. It was dense and dry and there was so much buttercream frosting. I expected it to be light, moist, and airy but it wasn't. pistachio tiramisu: 1/10, this was the worst tiramisu I've ever had. First of all, it wasn't tiramisu, it was chocolate cake and buttercream coated with pistachios. It was thick, heavy, and just not at all as described. A real tiramisu is made with lady fingers and marscapone filling. This was a dense cake with extensive amounts of frosting. I went in blind but I should've looked at the reviews beforehand... very disappointed. Additionally, the wait time was so long for such few customers. Only pro was the cute interior. read more

Well, my latest update... this location has steadily gone downhill. It has been dirty every time we've been there, floors are dirty, tables and bathrooms are really dirty. Granted, it's a busy place but this used to be a lot nicer and kept up much better than it is now. They're always out of food, bread such as gluten free and sourdough, pastries are often out as well. I ordered the portabella panini, however since they were out of gluten free bread as well as sourdough, I opted to have it lettuce wrapped on top of the accompanying bed of salad that comes with it. I should have taken a picture, because all I got was one piece of artichoke with a few slices of mushrooms and pesto on the side. Not lettuce wrapped, no cheese, just really underwhelming. For the $19.00 price of a panini that I didn't get, I felt a little frustrated and should have said something but it's been a long day and I just didn't unfortunately. Lastly, I know this is being petty, but they used to take the time to infuse their water with fruit slices and some locations take pride in keeping this tradition up, but for some reason Laguna location just really lacks in all of this. Quality is missing here...I hate to write such a negative review, I'm not one to complain usually. However, I've been coming here for years and am truly disappointed in how this location has seemed to decline. Hopefully I will have better updated reviews in the future. Their coffee is good, although the beans that they sell are not as freshly roasted as I prefer. One employee told me they thought the beans were about a month old. I think that this place has the potential to do better, I hope it does. read more

Been here 3 times to give tray and give Urth a 2nd and 3rd chance to make up for very lackluster experiences and poor quality food. Don't waste your time going here. It's honestly not worth the hype.

There is parking behind the restaurant but only a few spaces also a wheelchair space otherwise on street meters , never had a Problem
Can you order pancakes any time of the day?
It's only on the breakfast menu which breakfast they stop serving after 2pm
