so glad we found this gem! it was the perfect place to grab a bite after a walk on the beach. I got the fuhgetaboutit. SO good, the bread was soft and fluffy, sandwich was pretty large, and the cheese and olives really made it stand out. My husband got la caprese and it was also very good. And the special came with free chips! Quick service, and we even had the perfect seating area for our doggo to join. We will be back! read more

Broadway serves good sandwiches with great bread. Sandwiches start at about $15, and they offer daily specials as well. They're a very popular place and so the wait can be long. However, there's an online ordering system (which I found out about after the fact) - take advantage of that! Then bring your sandwich to the beach and enjoy a meal with an ocean view. I had a grilled chicken panini. It was honestly very tasty - I just feel like every sandwich shop these days can crank out excellent ones, and so the standard is really high. Nonetheless, Broadway Sandwiches will not disappoint! read more

The sandwiches were good the first time i came, along with customer service. However, this time around the customer service was putrid. The African American worker taking my order was very rude. He wanted me to pay for a custom sandwich that was $2 more than a sandwich i wanted which was only $14. I asked to remove a few items from the sandwich and he seemed very appalled from my request. He's an extremely lazy worker with a condescending voice and you can tell. read more

I went for a Calabria Sandwich today for lunch. My first time at Broadway Sandwiches in the Laguna Beach area. Sandwiches are huge and tasty. They do not cheap out on the toppings and meat either. Bread is fresh along with the meats and toppings. Nice customer service too. It was a pleasure. read more

This place looked pretty good from photos but was disappointed when I got it. Went with my girl, $40 for 2 sandwiches and an extra small drink crazy for what you get. She got a turkey sandwich that was pretty bland, lacked any sort of flavor. In the first bite she got a strand of hair. I got a pesto chicken panini that was better than the turkey. Pesto and ingredients went well together but what ruined it was the chicken. It tasted and felt like canned chicken. It was just salty and a weird texture for that type of sandwich. My family and I always try and support local businesses, and this place demonstrates why small businesses fail. When we entered we were greeted warmly which was great to see. We ordered 3 sandwiches, one avocado toast, 3 waters and 2 bags of chips. The total came to $91 which is insane. Inflation is one thing but these prices are brutal. But, it was my choice to order and pay them. So be it. The four sandwich's took 30 min's with only two people in front of us. That seems excessive frankly. There are +5 people working there and it takes a half hour to make sandwich's this slowly?! Next the person made the sandwich's, horizontally handed them to the teenage girl cashier who promptly handed the bag to be vertically. The avocado toast within destroyed and the dipping sauce for the roast beef poured all over everything in the bag destroying the sandwich's. The dipping sauce was so hot that not only did it burn my hand it actually melted the container they put it in. Note the picture below. In summary, we paid nearly $100 to wait 30min for some sandwich's that were promptly destroyed by the cashier. This is why small businesses fail against the Jersey Mikes down the road where the food would have been half the price and much faster. This is a HARD PASS. read more

This was my first time to Broadway Sandwiches. The staff were friendly and helpful. I tried the Mama Mia which was mortadella, pesto and mozzarella. The ingredients were fresh with generous portions on soft bread. It had fantastic flavor. Definitely coming back. read more

Visited here for the first time and had the "special" which is grilled sausage (link not patty), peppers, and mayo/mustard. I didn't really like it. The sausage was fatty and warm and the peppers were ice cold. There wasn't very much flavor. The woman who took the order was very nice and the place is located conveniently by the beach but I doubt I'd go here again. Overpriced for what I got and just not very good. read more

My daughters and I were looking for a place with a vegan and regular option. This is it if you're in the mood for a delicious sandwich! The Reuben is the most popular for hot sandwiches and for good reason. Super yummy. Highly recommend. My daughter, who is vegan got the Grilled Portobello and she said it was amazing.
