Unfortunately didn't have a good experience. What costs $30 worth of food, I wasn't able to enjoy and wasn't really a meal. I didn't take a picture of the quiche but it was super undercooked. The crust was soggy. Egg was runny liquidy slop and honestly I tried to eat it despite that and was just unpleasant. I ended up just not eating it. The poptart and fruit was the only redeeming quality. Pop tart was truly the best pastry I've had in a hot second. I wanted to like this place so bad but unfortunately the quiche left a bad taste in my mouth as well as the super inflated prices. Place feels like a overhyped spot, would recommend trying places a few miles away without the long lines and pricey food.

there was a line out the door but it moved pretty quickly! what we got: strawberry matcha chicken pesto quesadilla spanakopita coffee spiced donut? i forget the name exactly the food was sooo yummy!!! i loved the quesadilla and the spanakopita which i haven't heard of before but its spinach feta cheese cottage cheese and eggs wrapped in filo dough it was yummyyy! the strawberry puree in the matcha was yummy and the drink was very pretty, the matcha itself wasn't one of my favorites, but the drink generally was good. the donut was great! not too sweet and had great flavor. they have lots of to go wraps and sandwiches too along with a variety of bakery items which is nice! cute interior and vibe, some limited seating inside and outside

The cafe is really cute and the silverware and porcelain are very aesthetic. The service was pretty decent, we came for a walk and took about 5 minutes to order in line, then 15 for drinks and food. We got the banana bread latte and banana matcha. Both were really good. The latte was better, i enjoyed the drinks here. Also got a Mediterranean crepe, it was a bit bland and enough to feed two. Vibes were nice, it's not the biggest place but it's cute.

The matcha at Wild Strawberry Cafe immersed my senses into the perfect blend of sweet yet bold. The service was fantastic followed by scenic seating areas and a beach view a little walk across the street that could define one's weekend. Highly recommend checking out some time!

Matcha raspberry scone is so good and moist, sweet but not too sweet.

This is one of the sweetest looking breakfast spots I've ever seen, and fits quite nicely in Laguna Beach on the quieter side of PCH. I love the sunny space, and the blue and white china they serve the food in. They have lemon sugar crepes, which I rarely see, and I love its simplicity and subtle flavors. The fresh whipped cream they serve it with makes it perfect. The pastry case is the gem of this restaurant because everything looks mouthwateringly tempting, and the girls who work there are so nice and friendly. This is such a great neighborhood place to take your girlfriends or your moms or yourself for a nice time out.

Wild strawberry Cafe, just the name alone sounds like my kind of place. The decor here is really pretty, light and airy and simple. There are inside as well as outside seating, we sat inside. There's coffee, tea and other drink choices. They have some pastries and food items too. We had egg sandwiches which were good but a little expensive for what you get...they could add a little more, maybe a few potatoes or avocado or lettuce...ideas from a place I usually frequent that makes killer egg sandwiches. I'd come back and provide updates then. Mostly, it's a nice place to come with a coffee date and relax a bit.

Service was great. Food was ok. I got a banana bread latte that tasted like pure milk :( threw it all away.

Cutie location located in a walkable area. Love the French country vibes mixed with the coastal atmosphere. There is usually a line but it moves quickly! Ordered a simple latte which was rather good. Also picked up their chocolate chip banana bread which was divine! I was only stopping by quickly and while i was there i took a look at some of their breakfast plates which looked delicious, will need to be back in order to actually enjoy some more time there. Lastly their pricing is rather fair!

Perfect location, walking distance from the beach! Friendly staff, very cute and aesthetic. Strawberry matcha was very tasty, great size and perfectly sweetened. We also ordered the tuna sandwich (full) to share half and half. Will certainly come back!

Love the aesthetics of this place! First time here and we came on a week day morning. I can see this place being extremely busy on the weekends. They have beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. The service was wonderful, we were helped by two of the women working the front of house. They have a ton of breakfast and lunch items to choose from along with drinks. The food was nothing to rave about it but it's a cute place to meet up and have coffee.

Delicious lemon crepe. Also their strawberry matcha is superb. Finally we also liked their berry muffin. Great sit down place and friendly service if you're looking for a light snack, look no further!

Iced banana bread latte, and iced strawberry matcha.

Came in and ordered the iced strawberry matcha latte, the iced banana bread latte, and a maple walnut scone. Let me break it down. The maple walnut scone is the real star of this place and honestly the reason I'd come back. It had this perfect balance of savory and sweet that you don't always find with scones. The iced strawberry matcha is a solid, enjoyable drink -- it's pretty, it's refreshing, and it goes down easy. My only note is that the matcha flavor kind of gets lost in the mix. You're mostly tasting strawberry, which isn't a bad thing, but if you're coming in specifically for a matcha fix, you might walk away a little underwhelmed on that front. Now, the banana bread latte is where things fell apart for me. I really wanted to like it -- the concept sounds great -- but it was overwhelmingly sweet and had this artificial flavor to it that was hard to get past. It didn't taste like banana bread so much as banana bread-flavored syrup. It was sweet to the point where I actually walked into another coffee shop nearby and grabbed an extra shot of espresso to try to balance it out. Even that couldn't fully save it. Service was fine -- friendly enough, no complaints, but nothing that really stood out either way. The space itself is cute and has a nice little vibe to it. Overall, a mixed bag. The scone alone earns the stars for me. I'd come back, but I'd probably play it safe and stick to something simpler on the drink menu.

To put it simply: this is the kind of place Laguna has been missing. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt dialed-in in a way that immediately reminded me of a Hillstone experience -- polished but not pretentious, lively but still intimate. That balance is incredibly hard to execute, and Nix nails it. For context, I'm part owner of 230 Forest Avenue, so I don't say this lightly: Nix easily lands in my top five in Laguna Beach. We started with Aperol spritzes (perfectly balanced, not overly sweet), along with a couple of appetizers -- including a fried asparagus dish that was addictive in the best way. Crisp, flavorful, and gone way too quickly. For mains, I ordered the veggie burger, which was genuinely one of the best I've had -- hearty, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully constructed (not an afterthought, which vegetarian options so often are). My boyfriend had the noodle salad, which was fresh, vibrant, and layered with flavor. But beyond the food, what really stood out was the overall experience. The atmosphere feels intentional , great music, beautiful crowd, and a buzz that makes you want to linger. It's the kind of place where dinner effortlessly turns into drinks, and drinks turn into "should we just stay a little longer?" Laguna Beach doesn't have a ton of restaurants that hit this level across the board -- food, service, ambiance, and energy, but Nix absolutely does. We'll be back, and soon.

Then came the artichoke appetizer and the soup of the day... and honestly, I could've stopped there and been happy. But we powered through like professionals and went for a late lunch entrée, the Chilean sea bass- and WOW. Worth every bite. And shoutout to our server and the entire staff, total pros. Super polished, attentive, and clearly know what they're doing without being over the top. If you're looking for amazing food with a cool, laid-back vibe, Nick's is your spot. The food was all so delicious. For appetizers we ordered the White Mexican Shrimp & Chilean Sea Bass Ceviche, the Rosemary Focaccia Bread, and a cup of their Seafood Chowder. The Ceviche was fresh and packed with flavor. The Focaccia was so fluffy and was served with a delicious whipped honey butter. For my entree I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle. The chunk of short rib was massive and the creme fraise really tied all the elements of the dish together. My friends ordered the Wild Caught Chilean Sea Bass and American Wagyu Beef Burger. Both were yummy. Overall the food, service, and ambiance were top notch. Will definitely be back.

The items that stood out the most were the lobster bisque. the Parkhouse rolls, the Seabass, the scallops and the Hamachi tuna. I was taken back that the octopus was fried and it was tough and had an interesting flavor. I'm used to octopus legs being grilled and tender, so I was quite disappointed with that. We also ordered a couple of cocktails that we weren't thrilled about. The flavors didn't work well together in the drink, but I did like how the glasses were ice cold I just wish the cocktails were more impressive. I feel like that's the gift and the curse. When you have a restaurant that is oceanfront. Typically oceanfront restaurants their food isn't that great because it doesn't have to be because of the ambience. The only place I've ever been where they had the oceanfront location and the food was amazing was Nobu Malibu specifically.
