    Bacon breakfast burrito
    Catrin W.

We skipped coffee this time and just ordered breakfast burritos. We were so bummed to see the chorizo burrito was discontinued! The bacon burrito and avocado burrito were still really good. If I had a complaint, it would be that you pay extra for adding either avocado or bacon, when the burrito needs them for flavor. They don't have their own salsa, but offer Tapatio if you want it. Overall, they were pretty good but I'm excited to try something else next time. Come here to support the nice staff members, listen to good music, and be walking distance to good stores. Lines are long but the wait is worth it. 3.9/5

What a cutie spot right across the beach! We came on a weekend and it got really busy right after we ordered - came at just the right time! What we ordered: banana bread latte, strawberry matcha, huckleberry donut, chicken pesto quesadilla, and the spanakopita. The drinks were decent! I do wish the matcha had a stronger matcha flavor as it was a bit sweet for my liking. The chicken pesto quesadilla was yummy + a generous portion! The spanakopita is a unique pastry I don't see often, and I was excited to give it a try! The donut was great, and even better warmed up.

Unfortunately didn't have a good experience. What costs $30 worth of food, I wasn't able to enjoy and wasn't really a meal. I didn't take a picture of the quiche but it was super undercooked. The crust was soggy. Egg was runny liquidy slop and honestly I tried to eat it despite that and was just unpleasant. I ended up just not eating it. The poptart and fruit was the only redeeming quality. Pop tart was truly the best pastry I've had in a hot second. I wanted to like this place so bad but unfortunately the quiche left a bad taste in my mouth as well as the super inflated prices. Place feels like a overhyped spot, would recommend trying places a few miles away without the long lines and pricey food.

An adorable cafe! I stopped by this cafe to grab a latte and a baked good. And, I received a delicious decaf oatmeal latte and a recommended lemon poppy seed muffin which I devoured! Service is kind. They have a small team of warriors who are ready and consistent in keeping the place clean. There's an accessible restroom that is also well kept. Outlets are hard to find so I wouldn't recommend this as a study spot. WiFi is available. The plating captures any tea-party lovers. However, it's a great place to check out before visiting the Newport Beach public library. God bless you all!

The cafe is really cute and the silverware and porcelain are very aesthetic. The service was pretty decent, we came for a walk and took about 5 minutes to order in line, then 15 for drinks and food. We got the banana bread latte and banana matcha. Both were really good. The latte was better, i enjoyed the drinks here. Also got a Mediterranean crepe, it was a bit bland and enough to feed two. Vibes were nice, it's not the biggest place but it's cute.

What a great Cafè. We went this past week on 8/4/2026 & 8/5/2026 while staying in Laguna Beach. Great coffee, great cappuccino and amazing customer service. Great vibes at the Wild Strawberry Cafe. We also had oatmeal and a breakfast burrito. Todd R.

The matcha at Wild Strawberry Cafe immersed my senses into the perfect blend of sweet yet bold. The service was fantastic followed by scenic seating areas and a beach view a little walk across the street that could define one's weekend. Highly recommend checking out some time!

Wild strawberry Cafe, just the name alone sounds like my kind of place. The decor here is really pretty, light and airy and simple. There are inside as well as outside seating, we sat inside. There's coffee, tea and other drink choices. They have some pastries and food items too. We had egg sandwiches which were good but a little expensive for what you get...they could add a little more, maybe a few potatoes or avocado or lettuce...ideas from a place I usually frequent that makes killer egg sandwiches. I'd come back and provide updates then. Mostly, it's a nice place to come with a coffee date and relax a bit.

there was a line out the door but it moved pretty quickly! what we got: strawberry matcha chicken pesto quesadilla spanakopita coffee spiced donut? i forget the name exactly the food was sooo yummy!!! i loved the quesadilla and the spanakopita which i haven't heard of before but its spinach feta cheese cottage cheese and eggs wrapped in filo dough it was yummyyy! the strawberry puree in the matcha was yummy and the drink was very pretty, the matcha itself wasn't one of my favorites, but the drink generally was good. the donut was great! not too sweet and had great flavor. they have lots of to go wraps and sandwiches too along with a variety of bakery items which is nice! cute interior and vibe, some limited seating inside and outside

    Breakfast burrito

Maybe ok for coffee and pastries but do not order the food here!! The breakfast burrito was really strange. Flavorless, squishy tortilla, and undercooked egg.. the breakfast tacos weren't any better. So disappointed because we live over an hour away and after a lot of research chose this cafe, based on all the good reviews. We tossed the food and left hungry and disappointed. The lemon poppy seed muffin was terrible dry. The chocolate loaf was the stand out. Moist and delicious. The chocolate chip cookie was also very good!

Matcha raspberry scone is so good and moist, sweet but not too sweet.

This is one of the sweetest looking breakfast spots I've ever seen, and fits quite nicely in Laguna Beach on the quieter side of PCH. I love the sunny space, and the blue and white china they serve the food in. They have lemon sugar crepes, which I rarely see, and I love its simplicity and subtle flavors. The fresh whipped cream they serve it with makes it perfect. The pastry case is the gem of this restaurant because everything looks mouthwateringly tempting, and the girls who work there are so nice and friendly. This is such a great neighborhood place to take your girlfriends or your moms or yourself for a nice time out.

The waits are a little longer as this delightful place is very popular but well worth it and fun to meet people in line too.

    Denise G.

If you love a cute cafe, this place is for you!! If the line is long you know it's worth the wait! My daughter ordered the Açaí bowl and she loved it. I ordered the turkey wrap and that was also delicious. The iced lattes were delicious and perfectly strong. The almond croissant was absolutely amazing as well... And to mentions the meals are served on the cutest dishes. Perfect touch!

Meanwhile waiting , got myself familiar with the place and caught the vibe by the window. This is something expected especially by the beach. I got my drink and nice enough to allow me to help myself to sprinkle some cinnamon on my drink. Super cool. Make me feel like I added my own twist to the drink. Who doesn't like to feel engaged. The drink was good. Drink was smooth especially with the coconut and it paired well not to over powering not to sweet. It' was a good choice. I always ask for specialty lattes because it gives me a better insight on what they're about. Come by ! I recommend it.

I feel like I could just copy and paste this for most coffee shop reviews now - "Fine, but…read moreexpensive..." I have to be honest, I was not impressed with this latte, and I am wondering why everybody raves about it. I got a vanilla latte and added vanilla cold foam as a little treat and somehow it still had a little to no flavor? I think it was $18 or $19 for 2 drinks, that's just crazy to me and it's my own fault, that should have been a warning, but they had a Ube cruffin (and my husband loves ube) and I ordered one without asking the price and imagine my surprise when it was $7! A little more than that I think actually. I get it - it's a pricey area, they're a block from oven views, it's Laguna, I'm too broke to live and exist there but good Lord. All of that aside, it is a very cute shop, very cute merch, and very good vibes with lots of sitting areas. They even had a cute little corner with toys for kids to play with, which I love!

These drinks were around $6 with regular whole milk which was a good price! The interior is clean and nice. I saw one outlet, but I'm unsure if they have wifi. The order came out quickly and tasted fine, but the cleanliness and vibe were a real letdown. Our outdoor table was dusty and grimy (which I cleaned), and I chalked it up to being outside, but every table and the floor was dirty and remained dirty and littered with trash the entire 2+ hours we were there. Around 3pm (they close at 8), an employee flipped the bar chairs upside down onto the counter without wiping anything, which blocked the view of the business from the sidewalk. People kept walking and wondering out loud if it was closed or closing soon. During a few instances, customers pulled chairs down to sit, got told hastily to put them back when they were done, then a second group and individual customer did the same and sat with their drinks for a few minutes and were told outright they couldn't sit there and the chairs had to go back up, right as a line was forming from the better visibility. There were multiple instances of customers wanting to sit and enjoy their drink, but could not. It was odd. Once the chairs were back up, the business slowed down to a trickle. It was almost comical how the business hurt its own flow. I don't know why we were left alone, maybe because we had laptops and came before some unknown patio seating cutoff rule. The bathroom was just as bad, overflowing trash and paper all over the floor, both when we arrived and when we left. Restrooms should be checked hourly. It's not hard, and it makes you wonder about hygiene behind the counter too. I've had cleaner, friendlier experiences at other Better Buzz locations (La Mesa, University, Point Loma). For Laguna Beach, I'd check out Equator Coffee nearby instead (unfortunately only open until 3), located inside the Rivian showroom, a historic 1922 theater with couches, balcony seating, wifi, and sometimes free evening film screenings you can catch later. TL/DR: Dirty tables and bathroom at this Better Buzz, and an unwelcoming vibe for customers and passersby alike.
