Oat milk, that was supposed to have rooibos in it.

I ordered a rooibos latte w oat milk and they only gave me the oat milk. They usually make it correctly but the new employees are horrible and lazy. I came on May 2nd, 2026.

so cool to see an Equator Coffee shop this far south. Went to our first one in Marin County (northern california) years ago and the coffee is superb - robust with lots of depth and great tasting! It's a small shop with creative drinks, along with the standouts, and I think one lunch menu item. I tried the special strawberry matcha latte cream - basically strawberry cold foam on top of an iced matcha. it was delicious. The place is located right across the street from the beach. Cool vibes.

A small place in the Rivian theater. The coffee here is very good and it was crowded at times. The line was long too. We had the Matcha latte and an Americano. Fantastic and delicious! There is two tables inside and three or more tables and chairs outside of the shop.

We wanted to get over to this cute little closet of a coffee . I've got this great Italian espresso turns out some delicious tasting lattes , I enjoyed the spiced. Definitely well worth the go . Right across the street from main Beach , it's kind of cool sipping on your coffee and staring at the ocean.

gay people from the bay area sure know how to brew a mean cup of coffee, but more than that they know how to create tasteful and exciting blends and give their coffee shops the quaintest cutest ambiance ever. This is probably my number 1 coffee shop in the whole world, and i've been to a lot of coffee shops aaaaaahh. equator takes the cake their prices make sense their flavors make sense their people make sense. and yeah i do drive 20 minutes for it.

Excellent coffee in a great setting! This is a great space with friendly staff and a menu with a lot of variety. Their espresso was done very well and tasted excellent. Also ordered their specialty Habibi Latte (orange blossom, cardamom, clove), and it was excellent. Definitely a perfectly spicy flavor. Bought some beans and am excited to use them! Definitely recommend and would go back over and over again.

Autumn spice! So beautiful and delicious!

Excellent drinks and top notch customer service! Don't go to Starbucks, go here instead!

Cutest coffee shop location in the old movie theatre area. Small space inside, but there are a couple tables and a love bench with the view of the ocean. I got the sea same maple latte and got the ham and cheese as well as the almond pastry. Both were tasty. Normal prices for Laguna. Barista was nice!

Two iced lattes in their way across the street to the beach.

Equator Coffee is a small footprint, boutique coffee shop, in Laguna Beach, California. Their coffee has a depth of flavor that is hard to find. We ordered through the app and had lots of options to choose from including the level of sweetness, the amount of ice, the type of milk, and a variety of other factors. I would say they lean to the sweet side in their additional syrups and flavoring so be conscious as you choose those, (I went light sweet.) The prices are on the higher, fancy coffee side so a standard size vanilla latte iced with oat milk was $6.50. They also have some very unique flavors that those who like specialty coffees will enjoy experimenting with. The service was polite and quick, but on a busy day there will probably be a line. I am thrilled to find a coffee shop like this that is less acidic and more well-rounded in flavor than any of the popular chain shops you find everywhere else. This Equator Coffee is located directly across from the beach in Laguna Beach which creates a great incentive to take a walk or sit on the boardwalk with a coffee to start the day off right. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

One of the best things we tasted at the taste of Laguna event last week, delicious coffee with amazing cream. We couldn't stop drinking it!

Cute little coffee shop on PCH across Main Beach. Their flat white is delicious! I got a specialty cherry blossom cream iced matcha latte w oat milk and it was so yummy! I haven't tasted anything like it! It wasn't too sweet and the taste was delicate. Staff is friendly and patient with orders. Would definitely recommend.

Laguna Beach, CA Equator Coffees has easily become my new favorite coffee shop in Southern California. It is really hard to find a Coffee shop that consistently delivers a good cup. So far Equator Coffees has delivered a perfect cup of coffee every single time. I found out today that their baristas who are named Kat and Tony were trained for over one month before the shop even opened. The quality of the beans is really high and you can just taste the perfection and dedication to quality that goes into every cup. I am looking forward to buying their coffee beans and making espresso at home. I am so thankful I found this spot!

Must say we had perfect vanilla ice latte from here. It was a cute little spot by the beach. Friendly service and amazing coffee can't go wrong!

You're basically just going through the motions, my friend. We paired it with their ice cream fudge sundae, and we could not have been happier with our decision. The moment that warm butter cake hits the table, pure joy consumes your soul. Anticipation builds like you're about to open the best gift ever. The only logical response is to grab a spoon (yes, a spoon because a for would be a travesty of a mistake) because you need the perfect ratio of buttery cake, berry compote, and ice cream in every single bite. You carve that first perfect scoop, lift it toward your mouth, and suddenly your taste buds are doing an Olympic-level gymnastics routine--sticking the landing with a gold medal performance. It's a holy, almost spiritual experience you desperately hope never ends. By the final bite, you're slumped back in your seat, practically begging for a belly rub like a satisfied golden retriever, whispering a quiet prayer that this isn't the last time you'll experience this life-changing dessert. Took my mother-in-law here for her birthday and we all had such a great experience!…read more We got there around 4-4:15pm and had about a 20 minute wait, but we were able to find a high top table that we got to sit at and were able to order drinks from the bar, so that helped to pass our time. We got seated at our table at our table around 4:30p and had the most perfect view of the ocean! *we went on a Friday night and noticed the patio cleared out about 4:45-5pm and I didn't appear to have a lot of people waiting during that time. The main patio was covered with umbrellas, so once you are seated for dinner, there was plenty of umbrellas for shade and heaters for when it got a little cooler. For our food orders, and as recommended by our server, we went with their seafood options and ordered their Pacific Ceviche for an appetizer and for Entrees my husband got the Roasted Halibut and me and my mother-in-law both got the Scallop and Shrimp pasta. We all loved our dishes and were very satisfied with our choices. Their menu does have non-seafood options, but why not to try what they're most prominent for? They don't have a dessert menu, but they heard that we were celebrating mom's birthday so they brought us a little Toffee Cake to share and enjoy...and for a place that doesn't have dessert, the cake was pretty delicious. Such a cute place all around. My husband and I can't wait to go back! Parking - they have valet parking available right in front of the restaurant or theres street metered parking in the surrounding area.

On the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean! What a beautiful view!!…read moreWe came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon arrival, you'll find that the valet completely disregards the flow of the street. They use the southbound lane as a parking lot, effectively turning a small two-way road into a one-way alley. The valet guys were also rude to people trying to drive through for no apparent reason. When sitting outside on the deck, there are 12 heaters available, but the hostess wouldn't turn them on. (I've eaten at many waterfront restaurants, and they all turn the heaters on--especially when the temperature drops from 80°F and sunny to 68°F after the sun goes down.) The website states no seating after 8 p.m., yet they were still seating people well after 8:15. The menu was also not what I was expecting. While waiting for dinner, the aroma of marijuana drifted across the dining area. (I know they can't control what happens outside their establishment.) the deck is roped off because apparently it's unsafe and could fall off at any moment in addition to the rotting floor. The food: The menu is underwhelming. I ordered the chicken with sun-dried tomato risotto and vegetables. The risotto was undercooked and flavorless, and the chicken was also lacking flavor. I sampled the New York steak with mashed potatoes--the steak was cooked well, but the potatoes were cold. We didn't even bother ordering dessert and went elsewhere instead.
