Oat milk, that was supposed to have rooibos in it.

I ordered a rooibos latte w oat milk and they only gave me the oat milk. They usually make it correctly but the new employees are horrible and lazy. I came on May 2nd, 2026.

A small place in the Rivian theater. The coffee here is very good and it was crowded at times. The line was long too. We had the Matcha latte and an Americano. Fantastic and delicious! There is two tables inside and three or more tables and chairs outside of the shop.

We wanted to get over to this cute little closet of a coffee . I've got this great Italian espresso turns out some delicious tasting lattes , I enjoyed the spiced. Definitely well worth the go . Right across the street from main Beach , it's kind of cool sipping on your coffee and staring at the ocean.

gay people from the bay area sure know how to brew a mean cup of coffee, but more than that they know how to create tasteful and exciting blends and give their coffee shops the quaintest cutest ambiance ever. This is probably my number 1 coffee shop in the whole world, and i've been to a lot of coffee shops aaaaaahh. equator takes the cake their prices make sense their flavors make sense their people make sense. and yeah i do drive 20 minutes for it.

Excellent coffee in a great setting! This is a great space with friendly staff and a menu with a lot of variety. Their espresso was done very well and tasted excellent. Also ordered their specialty Habibi Latte (orange blossom, cardamom, clove), and it was excellent. Definitely a perfectly spicy flavor. Bought some beans and am excited to use them! Definitely recommend and would go back over and over again.

Autumn spice! So beautiful and delicious!

Excellent drinks and top notch customer service! Don't go to Starbucks, go here instead!

Cutest coffee shop location in the old movie theatre area. Small space inside, but there are a couple tables and a love bench with the view of the ocean. I got the sea same maple latte and got the ham and cheese as well as the almond pastry. Both were tasty. Normal prices for Laguna. Barista was nice!

Two iced lattes in their way across the street to the beach.

Equator Coffee is a small footprint, boutique coffee shop, in Laguna Beach, California. Their coffee has a depth of flavor that is hard to find. We ordered through the app and had lots of options to choose from including the level of sweetness, the amount of ice, the type of milk, and a variety of other factors. I would say they lean to the sweet side in their additional syrups and flavoring so be conscious as you choose those, (I went light sweet.) The prices are on the higher, fancy coffee side so a standard size vanilla latte iced with oat milk was $6.50. They also have some very unique flavors that those who like specialty coffees will enjoy experimenting with. The service was polite and quick, but on a busy day there will probably be a line. I am thrilled to find a coffee shop like this that is less acidic and more well-rounded in flavor than any of the popular chain shops you find everywhere else. This Equator Coffee is located directly across from the beach in Laguna Beach which creates a great incentive to take a walk or sit on the boardwalk with a coffee to start the day off right. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

One of the best things we tasted at the taste of Laguna event last week, delicious coffee with amazing cream. We couldn't stop drinking it!

Cute little coffee shop on PCH across Main Beach. Their flat white is delicious! I got a specialty cherry blossom cream iced matcha latte w oat milk and it was so yummy! I haven't tasted anything like it! It wasn't too sweet and the taste was delicate. Staff is friendly and patient with orders. Would definitely recommend.

Laguna Beach, CA Equator Coffees has easily become my new favorite coffee shop in Southern California. It is really hard to find a Coffee shop that consistently delivers a good cup. So far Equator Coffees has delivered a perfect cup of coffee every single time. I found out today that their baristas who are named Kat and Tony were trained for over one month before the shop even opened. The quality of the beans is really high and you can just taste the perfection and dedication to quality that goes into every cup. I am looking forward to buying their coffee beans and making espresso at home. I am so thankful I found this spot!

Must say we had perfect vanilla ice latte from here. It was a cute little spot by the beach. Friendly service and amazing coffee can't go wrong!

Coffee and reading has been my new favorite thing to do so I recently went to Equator and loved the vibe! Very small coffee shop with a couple indoor tables but they have a small patio for you to enjoy your coffee outside as well. This location is so cute and lovely being right across from the main beach and small shops. I decided to try something new with the coconut cold brew but thought it was alittle to sweet for my liking so I asked if I could have a splash of cold brew to fix it. They offered to remake it for me but the extra cold brew helped. Super helpful and kind. Will definitely come back to do some more reading.

Meanwhile waiting , got myself familiar with the place and caught the vibe by the window. This is something expected especially by the beach. I got my drink and nice enough to allow me to help myself to sprinkle some cinnamon on my drink. Super cool. Make me feel like I added my own twist to the drink. Who doesn't like to feel engaged. The drink was good. Drink was smooth especially with the coconut and it paired well not to over powering not to sweet. It' was a good choice. I always ask for specialty lattes because it gives me a better insight on what they're about. Come by ! I recommend it.

I feel like I could just copy and paste this for most coffee shop reviews now - "Fine, but…read moreexpensive..." I have to be honest, I was not impressed with this latte, and I am wondering why everybody raves about it. I got a vanilla latte and added vanilla cold foam as a little treat and somehow it still had a little to no flavor? I think it was $18 or $19 for 2 drinks, that's just crazy to me and it's my own fault, that should have been a warning, but they had a Ube cruffin (and my husband loves ube) and I ordered one without asking the price and imagine my surprise when it was $7! A little more than that I think actually. I get it - it's a pricey area, they're a block from oven views, it's Laguna, I'm too broke to live and exist there but good Lord. All of that aside, it is a very cute shop, very cute merch, and very good vibes with lots of sitting areas. They even had a cute little corner with toys for kids to play with, which I love!

We met Ahmed who usually doesn't work at this location who was an absolute gem. Ahmed is so knowledgeable about coffee sourcing and the information he shared was in such a delightful way. He welcomed us and let us know all about the coffee and showed us the most beautiful hospitality, we went with his recommendations and he did not steer us wrong. They are getting in an Ethiopian variety in a few days which sounds like it's going to be really good. I love the minimalist sharp clean Vibe and the coffee and service was fantastic. We tried a cortado and a cold brew their cold brew is a true 24-hour slow drip. I wish I had taken a picture of the unique looking contraption they use to make their cold Brew. I also tried my friend's Guava Basil Matcha Latte and it was solid as well. Not the best matcha I've had, but the guava and basil flavors were unique. These drinks were around $6 with regular whole milk which was a good price! The interior is clean and nice. I saw one outlet, but I'm unsure if they have wifi. For parking, there's spots in the nearby Pavilions parking lot or around it. Overall, a solid spot for coffee drinks in the area.

We were lucky to find parking around 6 PM. And due to the storm, turning out the Pacific the beach was wiped away. There was tons of erosion. A great zesty lightly spicy salsa made fresh and crisp seasoned tortilla chips. For dinner I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich which also came with tortilla chips and my hubs ordered the fish and chips. We also got a piña colada on the rocks. When I tell you that was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had a really long time. I am not kidding. I omitted the ranch dressing but everything else on it was incredibly delicious. It was an ample portion and how could you beat eating a chicken sandwich with an ocean view. They have a great assortment of cocktails, including Matt Thai and piña colada and assorted beer. You can only drink alcohol on the patio. Overall, the service was phenomenal. The food was freshly prepared. I think it's a great value again especially being oceanfront.
