I grabbed a quick iced latte from here right after our morning at the beach. I got a latte with sea salt vanilla cold foam. The standard size latte comes with 2 shots, so it was pretty strong for me and I only drank a little over half (I saved the second half in the fridge and it still tasted great the next day!). The sea salt cream was so delicious! It contrasted beautifully with the coffee flavor in the latte, and it was definitely sweet but not too sweet. It comes with a perfect amount of foam/cream (coming from someone whose favorite part is the foam). Although I got my latte to go, I appreciated their cute seating arrangements inside and someday would love to come here and slowly enjoy my coffee! They have a bay window with a couple small drink tables by it, which makes for a very cozy and nostalgic vibe. read more

Grabbed a few drinks from here before heading over to the Rivian South Coast Theater, and loved how cute the little coffee shop is. There's some seating inside, but it's very much a grab and go spot. They had really interesting seasonal drinks like the banana matchas, but I opted for the shakerato, which was a shaken espresso that already came with oat milk! I paired it with a ham and cheese croissant, which is more of your average ones. The workers here are super friendly, and drinks were made pretty quickly! so cool to see an Equator Coffee shop this far south. Went to our first one in Marin County (northern california) years ago and the coffee is superb - robust with lots of depth and great tasting! It's a small shop with creative drinks, along with the standouts, and I think one lunch menu item. I tried the special strawberry matcha latte cream - basically strawberry cold foam on top of an iced matcha. it was delicious. The place is located right across the street from the beach. All I need to say is habibi! The iced habibi (I got decaf) was memorable!!! Wow to the orange blossom flavor at the end of each sip. Outstanding! The breakfast sandwich was also noteworthy and had fresh avocado on it. There was indoor and outdoor seating with a perfect view of the beach. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean! Excellent coffee in a great setting! This is a great space with friendly staff and a menu with a lot of variety. Their espresso was done very well and tasted excellent. Also ordered their specialty Habibi Latte (orange blossom, cardamom, clove), and it was excellent. Definitely a perfectly spicy flavor. Bought some beans and am excited to use them! Equator Coffee is a small footprint, boutique coffee shop, in Laguna Beach, California. Their coffee has a depth of flavor that is hard to find. We ordered through the app and had lots of options to choose from including the level of sweetness, the amount of ice, the type of milk, and a variety of other factors. I would say they lean to the sweet side in their additional syrups and flavoring so be conscious as you choose those, (I went light sweet.) The prices are on the higher, fancy coffee side so a standard size vanilla latte iced with oat milk was $6.50. They also have some very unique flavors that those who like specialty coffees will enjoy experimenting with. The service was polite and quick, but on a busy day there will probably be a line. I am thrilled to find a coffee shop like this that is less acidic and more well-rounded in flavor than any of the popular chain shops you find everywhere else. This Equator Coffee is located directly across from the beach in Laguna Beach which creates a great incentive to take a walk or sit on the boardwalk with a coffee to start the day off right. Laguna Beach, CA Equator Coffees has easily become my new favorite coffee shop in Southern California. It is really hard to find a Coffee shop that consistently delivers a good cup. So far Equator Coffees has delivered a perfect cup of coffee every single time. I found out today that their baristas who are named Kat and Tony were trained for over one month before the shop even opened. The quality of the beans is really high and you can just taste the perfection and dedication to quality that goes into every cup. Great little place with nice staff but served THE Worst cup of coffee I've ever had. Ordered a holiday Peppermint Mocha espresso. Drink was beautiful and artfully served. However, it was lukewarm, had no trace of peppermint and tasted more like mushroom coffee than coffee beans. Waste of $$ we both threw ours out and went to Better Buzzed. read more

Coffee and reading has been my new favorite thing to do so I recently went to Equator and loved the vibe! Very small coffee shop with a couple indoor tables but they have a small patio for you to enjoy your coffee outside as well. This location is so cute and lovely being right across from the main beach and small shops. I decided to try something new with the coconut cold brew but thought it was alittle to sweet for my liking so I asked if I could have a splash of cold brew to fix it. They offered to remake it for me but the extra cold brew helped. Super helpful and kind. Will definitely come back to do some more reading. read more

I honestly love this little coffee shop. It's cute, compact and very homey all at the same time. There's wood pieces placed tastefully throughout the store, some even making up the shelves on the walls. They're stocked with their own lines of beans and merch too, which I love. The coffee shop is connected to a building that was once a theater, but now a lounging area with Rivian SUVs and trucks parked inside. You can keep to the couches and tables or you can slip into one of the vehicles and see how it's like to be in a fully electric and modern car, if you don't already have one that is. As far as the drinks go, I have loved every single one I've bought from here. Their mocha's are to die for, their cold brews are strong but not bitter and their matcha lattes? Don't even get me started. I've been OBSESSED with their strawberry cream matcha latte ever since I've had my first one. At one point I was getting one every other day and I had to remind myself I only budget so much for outside drinks and food. The service is always speedy and spot on, even when they're busy I don't need to wait more than 5 mins for my drink to be ready and waiting for me. Their pastries are really good too, you can tell that they're fresh and have good flavor to them. I haven't tried their breakfast sandwiches though, but anyone I've asked who's had them says they're really good especially for the price you pay for them. All in all I love this shop and find myself visiting this place more often than I'd like to admit and will continue to do so, as long as their doors stay open read more

Came in today for a remake of a drink and honestly had a great experience. I'm hating myself for blanking on the General Managers name who assisted me in store- but she was incredibly sweet, offered a new drink, and gave me recommendations for flavors and sweetness levels. My boyfriend's family and I went for a peaceful morning coffee in Laguna and we stumbled upon this place hoping for a quick little pick me up. The coffee shop looked cute and was pretty quiet, no other orders coming out. The person taking our order was not very friendly initially but it was not a big deal. I ordered 3 drinks and waited but only 2 came out. This didn't bother me so I waited a little and after awhile I eventually asked if we had one other order coming out. He shut me down rudely and said there were only 2 drinks on my order so I asked if I could order one more.
