My new favorite coffee shop! Loved everything I tried... blueberry lavender latte and ham/cheese/egg croissant. So yummy! I'm a coffee connoisseur and clearly so are they! Super friendly staff, beautiful decor, house made syrups, awesome coffee... and even dog cookies, they've thought of everything. I am obsessed with trying yummy syrups in my coffee and am so excited to try them all! It's nice that they are a local family run shop too. Very happy I found them and highly recommend.

Welcome to THORNE BROS COFFEE.

Thorne Brothers Coffee is a coffee shop in Laguna Beach, CA. This coffee shop offers a modest selection of coffee and espresso and breakfast. Their indoor and outdoor seats are available albeit limited. I came early Sunday morning to grab a light breakfast. And was warmly greeted by a female barista. I ordered a hot Latte and Avo Toast on Sourdough. Latte was good and food was okay. Prices seem pricey especially the AT breakfast. Service was spot on. Atmosphere was chill. Free wifi available. Overall, it's a nice little coffee shop near the beach.

Came by today around 11:30 am (Saturday) all the way from Anaheim to find out they were closed with no explanation.

It beach close and located on PCH within walking distance of the Laguna Art Museum. I had the cronut covered in ganache and the specialty rose strawberry chocolate latte. Both delicious. It's good to know that they serve coffee and pastries and few other ready to eat bites. Inside can be a moderately loud - only because it is a small space and the coffee machine is going. Staff is so nice. You really feel like you are part of a community even if it is your first time there. When we were there at 2pm it was not busy, I was surprised by 3:30 it was packed and there was a line. Would go again and get an iced latte or maybe a pour over.

The shop has a very homey, family-friendly feel and the decor/aesthetic was really cute. The staff looked busy and overwhelmed but they did well. The location is also a huge plus since it's right across from the beach. Unfortunately, the matcha was a miss for me since it lacked flavor. I had read similar reviews before but still wanted to give it a try myself. I'd still be open to trying their coffee next time, though it seems more suited for people who enjoy lighter coffee or matcha flavors. If you prefer rich and bold flavors, this spot might not hit the mark for you. Hopefully they'll look into using a higher quality matcha in the future because the shop itself has a lot of potential and such a nice vibe.

Totally worth the walk. The shop is simple and minimalistic inside, with a clean layout and a plant right in the center that gives the space a calm, relaxed vibe. Nothing flashy, just thoughtfully designed and comfortable. I ordered the iced Spanish latte and my mom got the iced chai. Both had an excellent balance of sweetness and coffee or tea flavor. Smooth, refreshing, and perfect for sipping while sitting on the sand. The workers were friendly and easy to order from, which made the experience even better. One thing that stood out to us was their logo, two hands shaped like coming together. In sign language, that sign means "connect," so as Deaf individuals, we immediately noticed it and wondered about the meaning behind it. It made the name "Rapport" feel even more intentional. Great drinks, welcoming service, and a perfect stop before heading back to the beach. We'd definitely do that walk again.

Interior is minimalist and clean. Baristas were all very nice. The cold brew coffee was one of the best I've had -- smooth, but robust, with a complex taste. AND it was under $5, which is a steal! I read that they roast coffees on site and I wouldn't doubt it! Unfortunately, while bean coffee was $23 for 200g, which is 7oz! My local roaster (Kean) would have the same price for 12oz. In their defense, they did have a massive bag that was $25. They had a bunch of great latte options, an espresso tonic, and tea options. They have pastries that looked delicious too. A great coffee and highly worth a visit!
