    Eggs Anna
    Catrin W.

This place is the best. Nicest staff in Laguna and nicest breakfast spots on a Saturday after the farmer's market. My favorite dish is the eggs anna as it comes. My group also got the waffle and the eggs napoleon and they loved it. Tip: hot coffee there is better than the cold coffee, leave extra time to find parking on a Saturday, try the croissant!

This place is so cute! They have great breakfast options and the staff is very friendly. This is a wonderful community cafe for locals. It caters especially well to regulars who want a community spot as the customers are friendly and the staff is welcome and create an atmosphere that invites but doesn't require people to start up conversations with each other. Those just interested in the food will be very happy with both their mainstay crowd pleasers and their own unique takes on common breakfast dishes. The unique oatmeal is a must try too. Wonderful place!

Pretty decent cafe/brunch spot. There's outdoor seating where you can people watch and busy atmosphere of Laguna. Their food is healthy and fresh. Their pastries goes well with their coffee.... Service is quick-order at the counter, they'll give you a number so they can bring it to your table.

Having hot and cold drinks outdoor but under a nice canopy.

My friend and I stopped by Anastasia in Laguna Beach and had a lovely, casual meal. You order at the counter and then sit wherever you like, which gives the place a relaxed, beach-town vibe. The service was great -- friendly and efficient, which made the visit even more enjoyable. We shared the tuna sandwich first. It was delightfully crunchy and packed with flavor in every bite -- bold tuna, bright seasonings, and great texture. My only quibble was the bread: it was quite hard and very toasted. I would have preferred a softer, less toasted roll to better complement the tender filling, but that's a personal preference and plenty of people will enjoy the extra crunch. We also tried the mixed mushroom pasta, which was satisfying and far from dull. It was packed with mushroom flavor -- earthy and hearty -- exactly what you want when you're hungry and craving comfort food. Overall, Anastasia offers tasty, well-flavored dishes in a laid-back setting with great service. If you like your sandwiches extra crunchy, you'll love the tuna here; if you prefer a softer bite, you might ask for less toasting. The mushroom pasta is a solid choice for a filling, flavorful meal.

Sunday morn. Good day to grab some breakfast and Anastasia is always in one of my choices for breakfast. Good location, good food, and good service. Indoor or outdoors, especially in the late to post summer months from August to October. Parking is metered parking for the most part anywhere in Laguna Beach but there should be ample during these timeframes. Overall, always a place to return to.

Laguna Beach, Ca. This place is a great destination for locals. It's just a bit beyond what the tourists are willing to walk. You can come here for lunch on a Saturday or Sunday and sit right on down. I have been ordering the chicken penne with artichokes as of late. It comes out piping hot and stays that way for quite awhile. The sauce is great too. The Eggs Laguna is an artistic creation and is awesome. Lattes are consistently rich and delicious. There are several servers that are highly attentive. It is unlikely that a completed dish will remain on the table long. Even though most of the tables are outside, somehow they do a good job keeping the flys and other obnoxious insects from helping themselves.

Been to this place a couple of times and enjoyed it each time. You queue to order and pay and they bring your order to your table. Staff are nice and they go around checking if you're okay or need anything at good intervals during your meal. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's almost always a lovely day at Laguna Beach and so it's nice to eat al fresco. They have a covered outdoor area and they also have little tables outside with umbrellas. Today I had Eggs Laguna which I managed to finish all by myself. Nice combo of poached eggs, avocados, basil, toast, tomatoes and seasonal fruit (it's cantaloupe this time). My husband had the Anastasia omelette which he also enjoyed. He ordered a side of toast with it. For drinks we had iced tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a nice brunch on a nice spring day at Laguna Beach!

The food was extremely tasty. Good portion size. Lots of vegetarian options. I ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich. My friend ordered a poached egg. We both had iced tea. And ordered a lemon bar. I love the ambience as you can sit either inside or outside and watch the people. The service was good. I would love to come back.

    Cesar Salad

We stopped in here for an early lunch and decided to split a Caesar salad and a pizza. I have never had a Cesar salad with tomato's on it before, and the dressing was not traditional Caesar so that also caught us off guard. It tasted good, just wasn't what we were expecting! The pizza was nothing special. It had a thin crust and it tasted good as well. Our friend got the chicken panini and said hit was incredible. The gentleman behind the country was not-not friendly, but as we explored the menu he wasn't much help either. The bus boys though were awesome!! They filled our waters, got milk for our coffee, checked in on us. Overall there are better places in the area we'd go to next time.

Came to this cafe the other day with my best friend and let me tell you what a wonderful pick it was! We both ordered the Fisherman's Feast, it came out promptly with kind service. Both of us cleared the plate, the flavors were balanced and fresh. Can't wait to be back! Recommending this to my parents immediately

    Lauren N.

To start: their version of French toast is Devine!!! 10/10, and they give you a caramel syrup for it Their OJ was not my favorite but it is definitely fresh!! The way they presented my fruit was wonderful and I didn't expect that. The service was unexpectedly great! I thought it would be a self serve sorta situation but they were super friendly and helpful

eggs laguna (with an extra egg)

This is my friend group's favorite laguna brunch spot. They have so many great options to choose from. My go to is the eggs laguna with an oat milk chai

    Alexandra W.

Walk-up to order and pay, then wait a lifetime to get your brunch... the gingerbread waffles were cold, latte was decent and slightly bitter - the star dish was the breakfast combo my mom ordered - crispy battered French toast. Nice plating presentation. There are nicer options for breakfast nearby, so probably wouldn't return.

California egg white omelette -- quite yummy with unexceptional fruit "o the side."

To put it simply: this is the kind of place Laguna has been missing. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt dialed-in in a way that immediately reminded me of a Hillstone experience -- polished but not pretentious, lively but still intimate. That balance is incredibly hard to execute, and Nix nails it. For context, I'm part owner of 230 Forest Avenue, so I don't say this lightly: Nix easily lands in my top five in Laguna Beach. We started with Aperol spritzes (perfectly balanced, not overly sweet), along with a couple of appetizers -- including a fried asparagus dish that was addictive in the best way. Crisp, flavorful, and gone way too quickly. For mains, I ordered the veggie burger, which was genuinely one of the best I've had -- hearty, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully constructed (not an afterthought, which vegetarian options so often are). My boyfriend had the noodle salad, which was fresh, vibrant, and layered with flavor. But beyond the food, what really stood out was the overall experience. The atmosphere feels intentional , great music, beautiful crowd, and a buzz that makes you want to linger. It's the kind of place where dinner effortlessly turns into drinks, and drinks turn into "should we just stay a little longer?" Laguna Beach doesn't have a ton of restaurants that hit this level across the board -- food, service, ambiance, and energy, but Nix absolutely does. We'll be back, and soon.

Super polished, attentive, and clearly know what they're doing without being over the top. If you're looking for amazing food with a cool, laid-back vibe, Nick's is your spot. The Ceviche was fresh and packed with flavor. The Focaccia was so fluffy and was served with a delicious whipped honey butter. For my entree I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle.
