Day after Thanksgiving was having a gathering for 3 families. Placed an 8-10 sandwich, 3 kids pizza, and salad catering order 6 hours before my dinner. The Thousand Oaks franchise told us they couldn't accommodate the order so we went with the Camarillo store. They did a wonderful job. Even made sure there was no romaine lettuce(currently an ecoli ban) in our salad. The lady(Paulina) who took our order and the staff who gave it too us was warm and friendly. They made sure we had serving utensils and plates. I feel so blessed that a wonderful meal could be done for us in such short notice. Did you guys recently change the recipe for the chicken on the Southwest sandwich? I've been coming here for a couple years now and have always ordered the Southwest. I went to Urbane tonight after a couple week hiatus and found that the chicken on the Southwest had a completely different seasoning on it. I asked the employees making the sandwiches about this and they said the recipe hadn't changed and confirmed I had the correct chicken. If that's the case, then the chicken was somehow prepared incorrectly because it was completely different. Please help me solve this mystery! read more

Mind has changed. I'm a fan of this place now. First time I ate at the one of kanan rd. said I would rather go somewhere else after that. Since moving to Camarillo, I think we have eaten here about 6 times. I've had the pastrami, pretty good. The turkey club a couple times, my go to now. And I've tried the special steak sandwich they had on the menu outside, another good one. I'm not a big fan of balsamic so I ask for ranch with the side salad. Usually dip my sandwich in it too. I'm going to say this place is 4.5 stars but officially I have to round down. So far this is my favorite of the 3 locations I went (Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura). I think maybe because its the newest but it has a cool vibe for a mini-chain. The staff is friendly, the outdoor seating is great and I'm all about the sandwich/salad combo. I have lunch here regularly, so I decided to stop by for dinner. Just before I placed my order, I saw the lady preparing the food reach down with her gloved hand and tie her shoe. I was hoping she would discard the gloves and wash her hands. Unfortunately that was not the case. She proceeded to grab some bread and chicken and prepare someone's food. Once I placed my order, i informed the cashier of what I saw and asked if she could ask the food handler to change to clean gloves. She did oblige and the gloves were promptly changed.
