Inconsistent. There aren't a lot of good food options in Camarillo, but I work there, so I try to find healthy options for lunch. I usually get their salads, the salmon salad, cilantro chicken salad, etc. It's pretty good when they do it right. But they mess up 50% of the time, so it's hit and miss. Some days the lettuce is really fresh and crisp, the meat is tender and abundant, the toppings are adequate, the portion is large, the avocado is firm and not too ripe, and the bread is fresh and soft. Other days, the lettuce has brown parts, there's water in the bottom of the container, the toppings are sparse, the meat is not fresh or abundant, the avocado is brown and way too ripe to serve or eat, the portion is small, and the bread is stale and dry. I just would like them to be more consistent with the food they serve. Please always serve fresh food. If it's not fresh, please don't serve it. read more

Urbane Cafe is one of my favorite spots to go to for a sandwich. The service is always fast and I have never had a bad experience here. I order the southwest chicken, the flavor is hard to beat! Pricing is good too since it's less than ten dollars for a sandwich and a side salad. read more

Looks like they need a couple more people working here, the line was out the door and the cashier was also stopping to take phone orders. I picked up my online order and they forgot the side of fruit with the sandwich in the order, no side at all! Very Upset! I ordered online and picked up my food..First of all my sandwich was cold, second I asked for sea salt vinegar chips and they gave me the wrong ones , third they didn't even put my salad so I just got the sandwich and wrong chips once I left and notice it was to late to go back because I was on my lunch for work so I basically payed for my order to be incomplete and wrong and disgusting for eating upset that they messed up and charged me full for it still. There are a few Urbane Cafe's where I live and work, But the Urbane Cafe in Camarillo is hands down the best. The food always taste GREAT, and the service is top notch. I guess I'm in the minority here because I wasn't too impressed. While the inside of the restaurant was nice and the service was friendly, the food wasn't that great. The salad was soggy and wimpy in ingredients. The hubby was still quite hungry. I had the club sandwich which was tasty but I'm not a fan of the thick doughy bread. The herb mayo was good with the sandwich though. Not sure the cheese was necessary, just made it more fatty. I guess I should have asked to hold the cheese. read more

Review for camarillo location: Food, selection, and service are all fantastic. I'm a sandwich guy but have tried a little bit of everything here. You just can't go wrong. Outdoor seating is great as well. If I had to complain about something it's that too many people come here, ha! The line moves quickly if you hit a rush hour, and the process is smooth. read more

Good place to grab a sandwich. There are outside seating but the location is too close to the Freeway and a road. The road is next to the restaurant about 100 feet with the FWY 101 about 200 feet away. There is quite a bit freeway noise and at times you could smell some diesel fumes from a truck. It is fine if you sit inside the restaurant. read more
