The service was terrific and even met the managing partner who delivered some of the most delicious chicken wings and bourbon sauce I've ever had. Now that I've moved away from Chattanooga I make it a priority to eat here when we visit. Their burgers have to be the best in Chattanooga. The flavors are punchy and deliberate. You can taste each individual ingredient and they all meld together perfectly with each bite. They have a cozy bar and can get quite busy so I'd recommend going at an odd hour or attempting to get a reservation otherwise you could be waiting for a bit. Love the high tea tuesdays! My customer service has been pretty great and consistent every time! I would say that the only thing they can do better is the timeliness and presentation of food. I tried the Mediterranean style burger after a recommendation from a friend, and chose to have the lamb patty instead of beef. My husband and I each had a signature cocktail and we split an order of fries (which, as others have stated, cost $3 aside from the cost of your burger) - I had the fried green tomato burger, and my husband had the Asian Q. First place we decided to visit on our trip to Chattanooga. We had a party of four and were seated promptly in the bar area. The ambience and decorations were neat and loved the feel of the place. We ordered the pimento cheese dip for an appetizer and shared it. It was ok, the flavor of the dip was a little bland for my liking but loved the crunchy potato chips they used for the dipping. My husband and I split the big cheese burger and I had a side salad with their strawberry balsamic. The salad was good although I didn't realize I didn't like beets so I didn't think to ask for them to be excluded. The dressing was delicious! The burger was very good. The flavors were great and the meat was juicy. We also ordered a couple of drinks. My husband had their old fashioned but had it made with knob creek and he said it was good. I had the bourbon smash because it was 1/2 price and it was definitely a winner! I don't know if we would come here again during our trip but it was a fun experience. read more

Absolutely amazing. Being gluten free due to Celiac's, this place has one of the most extensive gluten-free menu's i've seen. The bacon cheeseburger was delectable, and their cocktail selection was on point. Many delicious whiskey-based drinks, but I requested a long island iced tea. Boy, that was one of the most well crafted LIT's i've ever had in my life, and it wasn't even a listed option on the menu. My experience at Urban Stack was okay, but not great. One of the huge positives for me was that the host and waiter were super friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and the prices were reasonable. I was mainly disappointed in the veggie burger. As a vegetarian, I do appreciate that they allow you to substitute the veggie burger into any of the burger items on the menu. However, after reading the glowing reviews on multiple sites, I was excited to try this restaurant during my visit to Chattanooga and it was only okay in my opinion, nothing to write home about. If I lived locally, I'd probably give it another try, but since I live out of state, I probably will not return on my next trip to Chattanooga based on this experience. read more

I have been a fan of Urban Stack since they opened (I was there the first week), and it remains one of my favorite places in Chattanooga. All of the burgers are great (I sometimes the the Dirty Bird chicken sandwich when I am not in a beef mood) but don't overlook some great menu items. The French Onion Soup is probably the best in town. For sides, the cucumber/black eyed pea relish is a perfect side to your burger. The only caveat (for me) is that Urban Stack is very popular for families with children, so there are usually a lot of little ones in a place that looks and feels more like a pub/bistro. I'm not anti-kids at all, but it's weird to have great adult beverages drinks and delicious "Grown-up" food, while hearing the occasional screech of little ones. read more

My wife and I enjoyed eating here in a Sunday for lunch. Really neat spot. The ambiance and vibe was really "old school". The servers were great. They were taking care of each other in a seamless fashion. We started with the Smokin' Hot Pimento Cheese Dip. What a great app!! The dip was like a think queso dip. It had tremendous flavor and a little heat. The house made chips were fantastic and a great vessel for the dip. Well done. My wife enjoyed the Fried Bologna Sliders from the app menu as her meal. She accompanied it with a side of fries. She enjoyed the beef sliders and the mustard added great flavor. I had the Hamburguesa Momacita. What a great burger!! The chorizo was a perfect kick to the burger. The server asked if a "little pink" would be fine on the meat and I was happy to hear this as an option. Burger was cooked perfect. Finally, I must mention the house made pickles. Both meals came with a little cup of them. We enjoyed the vinegar flavor with a little bite. Suggestion--If you like the pickles, as about a "to-go" order. For less than $10.00 we got a large mason jar full of pickles to enjoy at home. This restaurant was a bright spot to our visit to Chattanooga. read more

The outdoor seating was wonderful and there is usually no wait time when we come. Our server Abby was super kind and gave us great service. They're two burger specials going on - the Guacamole and Pimento - which are not on the menu. We ordered one of each and it was so delicious.
