I dined at Urban Kitchen while paying a visit to my aunt in Delaware. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy we were greeted immediately and seated fairly quickly. The staff were very nice and welcoming. I ordered pancakes with bacon, eggs and a side of grits. The food was well prepared and delicious. No complaints at all.

Very busy and legit brunch place. The wait was 45 min on a Sunday morning. They have a pretty well-rounded menu, essentially with most of the breakfast/brunch items that one could think of. Their brunch alcohol menu seems interesting, too. We had the French toast and the Reuben sandwich. They were both tasty. The portion sizes were huge. The ambience was a lot of hustle bustle, like most brunch places on a Sunday morning. Their food is rather dense and carb/meat heavy, so for us, it might be a once every three months endeavor.

I've been here several times and each time has been a great experience. The vibe in the restaurant is great - decor, music, etc. The only thing I will say is that maneuvering through the restaurant can get a little tight when it's crowded, but in no way would that keep me from going back. Food is AMAZING. Haven't ordered anything off the lunch/dinner part of the menu yet, but have tried the pancakes, french toast, eggs and most recently the crab benedict. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new favorite brunch location!

Came here for breakfast before hopping on the road to come back home; and I am GLAD we did! So they do NOT take reservations, so if you want breakfast, come here early. It is so cute inside! Everyone was so nice and we were seated immediately. Also, our server was so sweet!!! What we ordered: * Side of bacon and scrapple - Bacon is always a hit, and the scrapple! It's my favorite breakfast meat, and whoever cooked it, cooked it right. * Big breakfast (strawberry French toast, eggs, sausage and home fries) - French toast with as love, home fries were seasoned to perfection and sausage was good too * Side of sausage gravy and 2 biscuits - huge chunks of sausage in it, thick and creamy; just needs a little pepper and it was top tier. Plus, the biscuit was just as fresh. * Waffle with sausage - the little one cleaned his plate, so I can say he loved it * Crabcake Benedict with grits - SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! And the crab cakes were such a nice size!!! The grits were good as well! * Strawberry fizz mimosa - delicious All I know is, I'm coming back! lol

Needed a quick bite after getting a tattoo in Wilmington at @firststatetattoo , Urban Kitchen is just around the corner. They offer an array of American diner eats including fun apps, breakfast food all day, and crazy fun milkshakes! If they have breakfast all day, I will ALWAYS get that for sure! I got the big breakfast while my friends got wings & cheesesteak egg rolls. The breakfast plate was a huge portion but the pancakes were definitely the best item on the plate. The milkshakes were to die for... I got the PB&J milkshake and it was amazing! Convenient location near the tattoo shop :) Service is relatively quick and ambiance was a diner vibe!

I fell in your restaurant a stranger eating helped me up the waitress said sorry I spilled that and kept walking. I wasn't not offered ice or apologies. Then we were informed they don't deal with food allergies. They invited us to eat somewhere else and we took their invitation after I got pissed and asked for some ice for my swelling ankle. If you are allergic this may not be the spot for you to dine at.

We were seated promptly, and our server took our drink order immediately. We were pleased to learn that iced coffee refills were complimentary. My wife enjoyed her Mexican skillet, which was both flavorful and filling. The spiciness level was moderate, suitable for individuals who do not typically consume spicy food. However, my wife would have preferred an option to enhance the spiciness. The waffle breakfast skillet was satisfactory, although the waffle was denser than I prefer. I look forward to exploring other menu items. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service. Despite the limited space, the restaurant manages to seat and serve customers swiftly. The establishment was clean and well-organized.

Started at a table and then learned there were happy hour specials only at the bar. They refused to give us HH pricing at our table even though we were the only people in there so we relocated to the bar. The bartender seemed skilled and looked like he was making an incredible cocktail. Both cocktails were absolutely terrible and tasted like perfume. Extreme let down. The meal had highlights like the shrimp and grits and steak, everything else was flavorless and not worth the money. It's a beautiful place and had live music but I don't think there's anything that would make me come back.

The friendly bartender greeted us with menus and asked if we needed a minute before ordering drinks, and we did, because they have a nice, interesting, creative cocktail list. I had the Grill Your Fruit Honey, a whiskey drink, and it was delectable, but I was very tempted by the Does a Pear Spritz in the Woods? It was Saturday brunch time, so we got one item from their Brunchy menu and one from their main menu. We picked the Famous Post Breakfast Sandwhich with smoked chicken. The server recommended a runny egg, and it was perfect. I had my eye on the BLT, so we went with it. It was so good!! The bacon was thick, crispy, and so flavorful. The bread was perfectly toasted. We had a hard time picking a fav sandwhich, but I think the BLT won. We ordered a side of their cheesy grits, and they were award-winning, and I'm from the south, so I know grits.

This restaurant was in walking distance from my hotel so my co workers and I tried it twice. Now our first visit, we were seated quickly but it took some time to finally have our drink orders taken. We had enough time to decide what we wanted before we were finally approached. The restaurant was busy and when we did finally get a server Dee. She was absolutely wonderful and a great server. She recommended different items and I have to say the Shrimp Tortellini and house's fresh garlic bread were delicious. It's also the reason I had to go back. So I went back to try the lobster Tuesday special. This time our server was Sara. She was awesome and very friendly as well. But it still took about an hr for us to get our food. But when it did finally come out the food was great. I am not sure the cooks in this place could go wrong. I had the fresh raw oysters and stuffed lobster. It was something out of this world. The restaurant is really nice and has plenty of seating and a full bar. They also have a great patio to enjoy along the water. If you are not in a rush and want some great food. Please stop in and get everything.

It was a Friday night, so the place was pretty full, with music playing throughout with some people our aged mixed on the college students there. We lucked out with two seats at the bar. For drinks, I initially ordered the Blue Rock Lemonade - in my mind I thought it would taste or be similar to lemonade cocktail drink I've had before... It was not that lol. Though I normally do like drinks on the sweeter side, this one was too much for me. But it may appeal to others taste. I ended up just asking for the same thing my boyfriend got which was a Margarita (I think pineapple flavor) which was much more satisfying. Again, we both were hungry and didn't feel like sharing apps or being there too late since we had to get up early. The Seafood Linguine caught my eye, so I ordered that while he got the Fish 'N Chips. There's was different in that they used catfish - we are used to seeing cod or haddock - but it came out pretty good. My dish was also pretty good, with a good mixture of seafood (shrimp, crab meat, mussels, clams) in it. We would come here again - earlier time though - to check out other items on the menu.

It took about an hour for us to get our entrees. Thankfully we were in good company. And our party enjoyed their cocktails. We started with the brussels and cauliflower. This was beyond delicious. You have to order this as a starter. They had a quail special and monkfish special the evening we were there. The birthday girl ordered the quail. It took about an hour to arrive and came undercooked. Thankfully they were kind about cooking it more. I think she enjoyed it once she got to eat. Her husband got the pork chops. I shared the monkfish with a friend and really enjoyed it. We also got the seared tuna for the table and that was good too. Our waitress was super kind especially with the food hiccups. They have one gender neutral restroom stall. It has the prettiest wallpaper. We were stuffed by the time the dessert menus came out. Thankfully they still gave us a mini scoop of ice cream for the birthday girl with a sparkler. It was lots of fun. I sat on the patio and was able to enjoy the evening's sunset with a meal. I ordered 4 oysters, seafood nachos, and the branzino. The oysters were pricey, which is why I only ordered 4. I was met with disappointment when they came out, since they were super tiny oysters and for the price they were charging, it was not worth trying. The nachos were okay, but there was also a mix with chicken in them, and they ultimately did not end up sitting well after a few minutes and the food came out somewhat cold, so the cheese was already hardening. The branzino was the best part of the meal. The fish was cooked perfectly and fell off the bone. Pairing this with fresh pickled veggies on the side, saved the entire experience. I think they have a great selection of items on their menu, but only a few stand out. This is one of the better restaurants in Wilmington that can accommodate for many as well. Their server was somewhat attentive, and maybe just forgot about me outside, since there weren't may sitting outside. The wait for food was about half an hour, and the oyster appetizer also came out with the entrees. So, it wasn't the best way to have a meal, or it's not what I'm use to. Anyway, I think it's worth trying. Maybe they had an off day!
