If there was no stars that is what I would give this place. The food can be good but other times its cold and awful. There is little consistency. Even worse you can order on line, show up, and they claim they never received the order. And even worse the staff is surly and petulent. I am niot sure why the owner would hire people like this. I will never eat here again, ever. Oh yeah,do not count on the advertised gluten free crust because the place always seems to be out. Someone needs to open a first rate pizza shop. I hope tourists stay away. read more

I blame myself, in a city of great restaurants and picked this for a quick lunch. I bussed our table and will leave it at that. Otherwise, typical chain pizza. read more

Pretty good pizza for Santa Fe! The green chili was delicious and I liked the whole wheat crust. I got a small veggie pizza with pepperoni and sausage on 1/2 and the other 1/2 Hawaiian. I ate it all in one day alone :) it was that good! Although there was a long line, staff was happy to help me at a different counter because I had ordered to-go--thereby not holding me up. Only critique is that the Caesar dressing for the salad I ordered was a little watery and bitter and the chicken seemed dried out and old. Other than that it was pretty good and I would come back for friendly service. read more

Upper Crust Pizza - Small whole wheat crust build, 1 slice eaten. 1/2 veggie pizza w/ sausage and pepperoni, 1/2 Hawaiian. This, salad, + Diet Coke = $40 - Pizza Near Me - Santa Fe, New Mexico

Easy to locate from the town square. Entrance: you may enter from the street side or the back door, which is accessed from the rear parking lot. Ordering: order at the counter, as there isn't a server. There is no sign for this. Also, seat yourself. Curb appeal is good, with a nice porch that sits high above the road, which is my preference when the weather is conducive. Small pizzas were starting at $10. read more

Fantastic Pizza. Just look at the pictures i've posted. Man this pie is fresh and the crisp crust is off the chart of perfection. The staff was really friendly. Clean! Seats about 40-50 maybe. Outside seating for 25? covered porch seating outside. Beers in a bottle. $4.95 but remember this is a tourist area so suck it up buttercup and don't ruin your vacation being a tightwad. We had Salad and a Specialty Small. The ranch we had was made in-house and very good. Put it on your list. its also right next to one of the cathedrals your visiting anyway, so very convenient. See you down the road... read more

How do I say this without sounding like an East Coast pizza snob? Oh, whatever. It might very well be the best in Santa Fe but it was just average pizza when compared to past pizza experiences (I've eaten a lot of NYC pizza). I had the Margherita. The pie size was perfect for one person. Kudos for the simple online ordering system. Also, you can get whole wheat or gluten free crust which is pretty great. Quick and efficient delivery. read more

I always liked this funky place. Staff quirky but nice. Green chile combo pizza good. But I called a couple of months ago to find out which night one of the musicians who play on their patio might appear. The guy on the phone was a total rude jerk - no idea why. I'll leave the joint to the tourists. read more

I like to visit restaurants that inspire me to taste food in different ways. Sometimes a simple ingredient can seem so complex when placed against complimentary ingredients. Upper Crust has a "vegetable" pizza, it is a pretty simple pizza. Mostly standard toppings like; mushroom, bell pepper, onion, black olive, fresh tomato but then they add a little New Mexican flair by adding green chili and sesame seed. The wheat crust was nice too, it added a slightly different texture then the normal crust. BTW love the hippy, earth mama logo. Awesome. read more

I won't ever be setting foot in there again. The crust being so similar to the cardboard box and the actual pizza is quite mediocre. An employee damaged my car in the parking lot. The owner would not even return a phone call. read more

I was in Santa Fe and had Upper Crust. It was si nice I had it twice! I was staying at Drury Plaza and, while they offer free food at Kickback, I wasn't there for what they had. My companion said that she wanted a veggie sandwich, and I am always down for pizza on vacay. We saw Upper Crust was the closest. We ordered it and it was delicious. The pizza had a choice of classic or wheat. I chose wheat. The cheese was gooey and delicious. The sauce - delicious. I didn't try the sandwich, but by all accounts it was delicious. On the 4th (last) day at lunch before heading to the airport we knew that we wanted to eat, and we both said "Upper Crust!" It was just as delicious the second time. If you are at Drury Plaza and want to kick up your Kickback, order Upper Crust and get your free drinks on the 2nd floor while you chow down on some pizza or a sandwich. You won't regret it! read more

Fun outdoor patio. The Greek Salad was good, with fresh vegetables, olives and feta. The vegetable pizza was loaded with nice veggies. So why just 3 Stars? The pizza sauce lacked tomatoes, the cheese was minimal and bland. This is obviously a take on "Rocky Mountain Pizza", but with a thin cracker crust (dry and flavourless). The best Rocky Mountain Pizza ever eaten was in Idaho Springs, Colorado at Beau Jo's Pizza. Eating this pizza was creating a longing to either find a good New York pizza or to travel back up to Colo. But, stay for the veggies..:) Thanks for reading. Avram read more

DISGUSTING experience! I ordered a pizza to be delivered through DoorDash. This particular establishment does their own delivery from the restaurant through Doordash. So they are the folks responsible for any issues/ questions. I waited over 90 minutes for the pizza. Called twice. After the second call, the person I spoke to claimed they had not made the pizza yet. He was incredibly rude and said it would be another 45 minutes. This would be well over 2 hours. I replied that this was unacceptable. At which point, he responded rudely, "Do you want it or not?" I said "No I want a refund." He said he would refund it and hung up on me. No apologies, no pretense of caring. This has now been 2 weeks. STILL NO REFUND! This place is a mess! read more

It was Sunday pizza to go- pepperoni, green Chile , mushrooms. And unfortunately the worst pizza I've ever had. Disappointing-won't be going back this time. read more

I was told by a friend that this was the best pizza she'd ever had. Maybe that made my expectations too high. Perhaps something was off in the kitchen. My experience was incredibly average. The pizza is overpriced for the size, but the ingredients were very good. The sausage on the meat treat was great! From the time we ordered it took over 45 minutes for us to get our food. The cashier was brash and unpleasant when I asked about a drink on the menu that apparently they haven't carried in years. The tables were sticky and the bussing bin was out in the dining room the entire hour + we were there. No toilet paper in either bathroom stall. I wouldn't come back and I wouldn't recommend this place, but the food wasn't bad. Maybe service is better on other days. read more

Upper Crust Pizza - Sunny Chicken Pesto and Meat Treat Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Santa Fe, New Mexico

Great pepperoni mushroom pizza; delicious sauce! Great live music. Great location to my hotel.

Upper Crust Pizza has a fabulous patio which is perfect to relax on during sunset. There are about 6 working tables during the pandemic, but normally there are probably about 10. The Caesar salad was to die for! We loved it. Perfect blend of tangy Caesar, pepper, crisp lettuce, croutons, and tons of Parmesan. The pizza was the reason I give it 4 stars and not 5. The pizza was good. But I wanted it to be GREAT! The pizza comes out piping hot. The crust is crisp and yummy. The pizza is pretty saucy, which my boyfriend loves. It's not the best pizza I have ever had, but certainly not the worst. All in all, great place to grab a pie and a beer and enjoy people watching on the patio! read more

Omg it was so good, the employees are helpful and kind and they took amazing consideration about what I felt like eating and had great recommendations! This place was rated 3rd best in Santa Fe by locals and I can see why, it's good food and the people here are so helpful. I see a variety of people come through these doors and I'm not a local but I'm from NM and this is a fan favorite across everyone. I got the BBQ chicken and it was so good I ate it all, very toasty and homage and I wish I got another one for the road, but a small is $16 which isn't necessarily my favorite but it was good food. We got kombucha for drinks and my boyfriend chose one and they accidentally didn't have that one stocked so she brought out a whole handful of different ones for us to choose! She was so nice read more

Good food but it adds up. Really like the pizza and a good gluten free option. We have a son that cannot have gluten and can go there to either get gluten free or cauliflower crust. For those that can have gluten the garlic knots are really worth the money. read more

The smells coming from the kitchen from the outside will lure you in. I was visiting the church and old house as many will do and I had to get a pizza, going against list of the poor recommendations here on Yelp. I'm glad I did. It was a delicious Grecian pizza and the crust was just so flavorful and fresh. It was nice and fluffy on the outside but had a nice crunch on the bottom. Best of both worlds if you ask me. read more

Uppercrust is good af!!! Very well made pizza . The pizza hits the spot after spending the day at ski santa fe! Sitting outdoors is amazing and has a beautiful vibe. Only reason I gave it one less star is bc their door is squeaky as fuck and they charge 75c for a take home box. read more

Quality of pizza and service here vary wildly. Usually service is pretty slow and somehow they always seem confused about your order and leave off a topping. Consistently they have left off the extra vegetable on the meat treat pizza. Sometimes the pizza has enough topping sometimes they're missing topping sometimes they have very few toppings. Not really worth your money unless you can get them on a good night and good luck with that. Tonight, order was completely wrong and priced way too high and while they remade the order I waited an additional 25 minutes and then was given a pizza that was still not right-- missing a topping--and the guy working the counter said to no one in particular, "give her a refund!" and then disappeared. So no refund. read more

This place has some really good pizza that is fresh and has a crispy crust but the parking is pretty bad. You have to find street parking somewhere around the area. Been to upper crust a couple of times and every time the food is amazing. Cute little pizza place and quick service. A+

While visiting the area (something we have done a few times) decided to try Upper Crust for lunch based on reviews read online. Well we were not disappointed. We split a small meat pizza with fresh basin and it was delicious. You can taste all the freshness from the crust/sauce to the basil. We also split a small meatball sub. Similar - full flavor and the bread was delicious. If you know Italian bread light crunch outside and soft in the center. Meatballs were tasty and blended well with the sauce. Only negative - our sandwich took forever then we went to the desk and they had mixed it up as a take out and we were dining in. Even the ticket on the bag said dine in. The table next to us had similar issue. They ordered 2 small pizzas and one calzone. The calzone never came to the table. They saw what happened to us and went to check on their food and had same issue. Staff were very pleasant and we will return when in the area. Don't miss this place!!! read more

Management SUCKS!!! I was already having a horrible day, due to a situation, that was out of my control. I was the only vehicle in the parking lot. When I first arrived, the assistant manager and cook were screaming at me, about how I had parked. I asked the assistant manager her name, she verbatim said "go to hell" was her name. I have gone to this and other establishments owned by the same owner for 22 years. NEVER AGAIN AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT OTHERS GO TO OTHER LOCAL PIZZA PARLORS AS WELL!!! read more

Pizza is our favorite food. so what else is new? We think we know when it is good but, as with most things, it's a matter of opinion. Upper Crust has a great location next door to the oldest church not far from the town square. We always choose the combo because it adds green chilies which makes for a nice bite of flavor. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. There are three seating areas so pick your spot. Ingredients are plentiful and the crust has just the right combination of crunchy underneath and chewy top side. It is not in our top 5 nationwide but certainly one of the best in Santa Fe. Tip the folks because they work hard. read more
