We had 1.5 hours before our train ride and decided to get something to eat. Esquina Pizza is near the Sky Railway Train Excursion, making it super easy to reach. This pizza place makes tasty wood-fired pizza, garlic bread, and salads, plus they have a variety of wines to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed, featuring a nice patio and a cozy indoor spot to sit. The server was nice, but the service was a tad "off". A group of maybe 10 (not including smaller children) was eating together, and they might have been too much for the server to handle. Besides that issue (which she couldn't do anything about), I would definitely go back to this restaurant.

Recommend: Yes Esquina Pizza is such a cute place. I love the decor and vibes. We came after a long drive and passed by so decided to try. Glad we did. To drink we ordered a Mexican coke and Echigo beer. The Mexican coke was flat. The Echigo beer, was light, crisp, and refreshing. As an appetizer, we had the marinated olives & Caesar salad. The marinated olives were DELICIOUS, they had a lemon/tart taste but also a sweet taste. They tasted like something I've had before but can't quite put my finger on what. The Caesar salad was ok, not much flavor to it. We ordered the sweet and spicy as well as the mushroom pizza. Both pizzas could use a little bit more salt or seasoning but they are good. They both had the charred toast from the brick oven. The sweet and spicy is SPICY, so be prepared. The sweet came from the basil, and some of the hot honey, it was nice to bite into a bit of sweet after all the spice. I was told the mushroom pizza was good but could have used some salt or something. Ambiance: Loooved it! Such a cute place to check out. I imagine it's nice to hang in the patio with friends on a summer day. Service: Service was good. Very friendly and helpful in answering my questions.

Was on a road trip and found this spot. I highly recommend this place. Everything was great from service to the amazing food. Some of the most tasty marinara I've ever had.

My daughter and I were staying at a nearby hotel- and we were craving pizza! Stumbled upon Esquina Pizza and we were not disappointed! Very friendly service, fresh salad, and probably some of the best pizza I've had in a long time.

Several Yelp reviews state this is the best Pizza in Santa Fe. Well it is my only experience so far. But this would be hard to beat! Amazing pizza! I ordered online. It was ready when I got there with great service from the counter. The pizza was thin, with lots of really tasty toppings. I got the Sausage and added pepperoni. This was some really good Pizza. I will be back!

A diamond in the rough! I'm pretty critical about pizza places and this is a solid choice for the casual and even the discerning pizza lover. Unique menu, a very small but good wine list. You can tell the chef has fun.

Food - 5 stars Space - 3 stars Okay let's start with the greatness: Esquina Pizza is darn delicious. We started with the garlic bread, then I ordered the Hot Pepper Pizza, and my husband ordered the Pepperoni. The garlic bread - 5 stars. It was fresh, chewy, fantastic bread served with a side of chunky tomato sauce. What a great treat. The pizzas - great crust, flavorful tomato sauce, and yummy toppings. I loved both pizzas. I will 10000% be coming back for more pizza. So why 4 stars? The inside space is so cute and intimate, but just so small for how popular it is. Sounds like a good problem to have for a business lol. But the seating is TIGHT. I would not recommend coming here and t trying to site inside with more than a group of 4. They do have a patio, but it's cold in the winter months! Be prepared to wait for a seat if you're not there early.

I'm a huge pizza fan so whenever I visit a new city I always try to find the best pizza in town. And I'm sure I found it at Esquina Pizza. I had the mushroom pizza with sausage added and it was fantastic. Pizza starts with the dough and at Esquina it creates a pizza that melts in your mouth. And all the ingredients are fresh and flavorful, blending together to create pizza perfection. My buddy got the pepperoni and it was a pepperoni party on the pizza. Service was also great and the outdoor patio is serene. If you're in Santa Fe and looking for a fantastic pizza experience, this is your place.

My main disappointment the food is overpriced. The pasta dishes were pretty good, but not nearly $30 worth. The pizza crust is kinda doughy, which makes it feel heavier than expected... and also like it should cost less. I think if I'd dined in, the atmosphere would have pushed it up a bit, but on its own we were surprised by the bill.

Wait: I made dinner reservations for 6:45pm and upon arrival, the host/bartender asked everyone who had reservations and who is a walk in. A walk-in party of two were seated before us. We informed the host we had reservations, but when another customer came in, the host overlooked my party and my husband had to speak up to let him know we had reservations. We finally got seated 10 minutes after our reservation. This is very disappointing when you have two hungry kids in tow. Drinks: The wait for the food was long. We decided to put our drink order in and we were informed a few minutes later that the Java Stout I ordered was out. I decided to pick a jalapeño margarita and was informed by the waiter that they ran out of margarita mix and that he would comp my drink at no extra charge as he felt the drink might not meet my expectations. The margarita wasn't terrible as I expected; however, I appreciated his gesture. Food: my husband decided to order the salchiccha (sausage) en broccoli pasta dish and when he received his plate, there was no sausage in the pasta. When we informed the waiter, he mentioned he could take the dish back because that was the cook's interpretation of the dish. Management needs to update the menu to accurately describe the dish. Anyone reading the description of that entree would have expected pieces of sausage. I ordered the fettuccine all vogole and the portion of the pasta was very small. The amount of clams were disproportionate to the amount of pasta noodles given. My plate was delicious but the portion size could improve. All in all, management has a lot of improvements to work on in order to make the customer's experience great. Our waiter was great and we still gave him a good tip because the disappointing experience we had was outside of his control and he did his best to fix things. Management needs to do better.

The restaurant is roomy and lively. It's right across the street from the Hilton, where we stayed! My colleague ordered pizza to go on the first night, walked over and returned back to hotel room! I should have done that too! Our party of 6 came from Hawaii and just trusted the process...we ordered several wood oven pizzas (sorry I didn't pay attention to what my friends ordered ) I had the Tartufo - omggg it was to die for!!! the food is amazing and affordable! We would come back again and again if we could!! The employees were friendly and helpful! We were leaving the next morning so some of us took the leftovers and ate it at our stopover!! Located in the Plaza off of San Francisco St., we didn't realize there was it's own parking lot that is shared with others around the corner (we parked at a public structure for 5 bucks 2 blocks away). This is an order at the counter establishment of which I do not care for, especially if it's pricey (which it was). We started off with the house salad for 7.50/ea and totally not worth it (just some lettuce tomatoes and dressing with a piece of bread). 2 of us had pizzas 1 a calzone and another pasta. Pizzas were ok, but a good size for one big appetite or to share otherwise. The calzone was HUGE but my friend did not care for it (vegetarian) as she said it had too much goat cheese and lacked flavor. My friend's pasta was just average. With a bottle of cab and 2 soft drinks, the price came to a pricey 120 bucks before tip (the servers do deliver your food and drinks to the table). Would I come back here? Probably not. I have had others word of mouth that also did not care for it.
