Staying at the Old Santa Fe Inn we were amused that pizza could be had a mere 450 feet away, so I just walked over. If you're at a downtown hotel you're close too. Alphabet City was fantastic (5/5), one of the best pizza experiences we've ever had, probably the best for a meatless one. Reheated the leftovers in the microwave, which of course is not ideal, but it was still pretty good a couple days later. read more

Great fired pizza! I had the small Chelsea with all the meats and bell peppers and it was awesome! Finally a pizza exactly the way I like it without having to add toppings. Hot and fresh without too much dough to weigh you down. I could still only manage half the small by myself. read more

A group of four adults stopped by for pizza and calzones. Both my wife and I had the salads as well. The food was absolutely fantastic!! The salads were very fresh and used choice ingredients. The pizza was better than some I've had in NYC, especially the crust. The calzones were gigantic and very tasty. Above all, the food was prepared quickly, and the service was great. read more

You won't be disappointed, but be aware the toppings are expensive, but it's definitely because they are fresh and high quality. Hope I'm not too full to try the gelato! read more

The pizza isn't New York style, but about as close as you'll get in New Mexico. Staff is friendly and good. The price is insane, and not worth it in my opinion. read more

I work across the street and often have their lunch special (a soda and a slice). I typically go for a plain slice of cheese as the pepperoni is oily (but delicious!). For dinner with my father I ordered the Brighton Beach because we both love anchovies, garlic, and olives and it didn't disappoint! My father loved the texture of the onions. The crust is perfectly thin without being crispy. They also have a drive through, which I haven't used but appreciate the convenience it offers. read more

I tried to order a pizza for pick up. A guy picked up and told me to hold twice and I waited about 10 minutes. Finally he took my order but said it will take 30 minutes. I told him to please cancel my order since I was in a rush. He told me to "F*ck off" and hanged up on me. Rudest customer service ever. read more

I started to miss the NYC pizza I was spoiled with growing up in NY. I found this gem of a place, and ordered an extra large pie. It felt JUST like a NYC slice of pizza! It was foldable, tasty and fresh ingredients were used. I was so impressed, that I ordered another extra large the weekend after! First, I ordered a pie with mushrooms and was happy. Next, I ordered the Central Park, and was again, happy. Customer service is great, too. I had a serious talk with myself to slow down my NYC pizza cravings because this place satisfied each time! I was about to start ordering Goldbelly NYC pizza and then I tried this place out. MUCH cheaper than Goldbelly frozen NYC pizza. If you like NYC style pizza, you'll be happy. Nobody paid me for this advertisement. I'm just a New Yorker who loves her pizza done right. read more

Used to be my absolute fave pizza joint in Santa Fe until I went in last Friday evening. Ordered a large pepperoni to go. Got home and it was half burnt black and had the thinnest layers of sauce and cheese I've ever encountered on a pizza. Barely there. Had to take paper towels to soak up all the grease, too. Terrible disappointment, esp after paying $25! They'll not see another penny from me. read more

Went to this shopping center intending to get ice cream at Oasis, but it was already closed. My kids and I kinda got mesmerized by the smell of the pizza coming from Pizza Centro. Since it's been on my list of places I've been meaning to try, oo on a whim we ordered a large cheese pizza to eat on our drive back out of town. Really good New York style pizza. Kinda flat and gooey with a crunchy crust at the end. I'll definitely be back. read more

Not bad for a quick find flavor was good crust was thin and not strong enough to support the toppings so anyway you pulled a slice off you were losing half of your cheese that was supposed to go along with it customer service was lacking size of the pie is good extra large gave us four two slices each not sure if I'd stop again if I'm back in town tho read more

Pizza was OK but it took forever to get one slice of cheese right in the middle of lunch. And there were only two other people in the place and they both had their food. The phone was not ringing off the wall either. The pizza was not objectionable, although our slice had a giant air bubble in it. Just nothing special about it. read more

While come to Santa Fe on vacation we were in the mood for a pizza after our long road trip there. We stopped here and unfortunately had the worst pizza we ever tasted. We figured adding ranch would help so the trick, but again it was nasty. Also, we tried getting the garlic bread sticks but they were out. Not the best experience but also just personal preference. read more

Pizza is not in any way near New York Pizza. Sauce is uninteresting and additives lacked flavor. Also, I did not get the pizza I ordered. I was excited by what I saw in the Yelp post, but in reality I was disappointed. read more

ALWAYS so delicious and fresh. BUT... they need to have online ordering available for pick up NOT just delivery. The time waiting for it is awful so that is why my rating is so low. My last visit the person might have been new he was a slow with everything, and there was a lady who always seems grouchy but other than that the food is amazing!!! if they open online PICKUP i will adjust my rating and would be nice to be greeted with a smile. read more

not what it once was. had not been in a while. ordered over the phone (no web option). asked for green chile as one of my toppings. got green pepper instead. really? in new mexico? this is a standard pizza topping here people. took it back to the counter to see what could be done. after talking w manager they gave me a few meaningless options. - make the pizza over (i called it in as i was in a hurry) - 15% next purchase - free topping on next pizza order - some gelato - a small salad none of these really made me feel better about the $40 pizza that i isn't what i wanted. i will not return. sad. used to be a good shop. read more

I called Oshia's & told them the pizza was cold & missing the basil. While the guy on the phone was nice enough I think maybe he was a little too stoned to say anything but, "Uhhhh. Sorry." (I'm all about weed, but really?) I kind of expected him to offer another pizza made correctly. Silly me. So we sprinkled dried basil on it & laughed about what a lame place Oshia's is. The wings? There was some really gross stuff sticking to the wall next to the toilet; I couldn't tell if it was barf or poop, but it really turned me off. Good thing we were already on our way out. The atmosphere is kind of a New Orleans vibe with a high ceiling and covered terrace upstairs with plants that you can see from the downstairs area. That was nice. The day before when I was walking around the Plaza, they had a big carafe of fruit-infused ice water outside the restaurant with plastic cups for people to help themselves to, and it was super refreshing. That was the best thing about this place.

The meat was tender, the stew had a good flavor to it, and the chile sauce brought it to another level. My girlfriend loved the green chile pineapple sorbet. It had a lite chile flavor, and wasn't too sweet. The orange blossom tres leche cake was outstanding, with the cake and meringue cooked to perfection (both with great consistency), and the lowkey orange blossom flavor complimenting things very nicely. We ate at the bar, Ben the bartender was a great server. His notes on the dishes were informative and accurate, and he also recommended some places in and around Santa Fe for us to checkout... You are lucky your pizza is good because your customer service is the worst! Honestly when picking up my pizza in the takeout alley window my daughter and i rang the bell and waited 5 minutes.....no one even came to the window and acknowledged our presence so we rang it again. 5 minutes later after sitting in the car still nothing, so we rang it a 3rd time debating wether i should finally drive around the building and park the car and get out the car because their window isn't working or they can't hear the bell or I'm doing something wrong I'm then approached at the drive through window by a young, short blond hair employee with an ugly look on her face that tells me "Ringing the bell like that won't make me move any faster" UHHHHH!......Im sitting here in the alley for 15 minutes, i don't know if you can hear me or how busy you are or aren't! Im not psychic! Im sitting in a car in the alley for the first time at your Pizzaria wondering if this drive through window is even functioning. after 15 minutes of sitting without a sign of any employee or sign of any open operating business i guarantee anyone else would ring the bell again as well, and honestly there was gaps of 5 minutes between the ringing of the bell and you said that to me in front of my 9 year old daughter!! And it was my daughter who was ringing the bell because she was excited to do something cool like that! this was the worst drive through experience of her life and rightfully so, my daughter felt like she was to blame. I suggest the owner/ manager educate their employee on the dire need for much improved customer communication because I'm still steaming about the attitude we received over a simple cheese pizza. I don't know what I would do if Pizza Centro weren't in Santa Fe. All other pizza here is average, in my opinion. This is most reminiscent of NYC, where I'm from. I'm happy they have spinach and it would be nice if they had broccoli! I like the crust and the sauce. It's perfect. Their only problem...they don't deliver. There's a delivery service in Santa Fe, but I don't think they deliver for PC. They have many different options and the Pepperoni is a favorite with my family. Not much to see in the "restaurant". Had eaten at the El Dorado location with alright results. The pie we got from the Design Center last night was wonderful. Perfectly blistered chewy crust, able to fold slices for eating. I think its a very reasonable size/price. An 18" pizza was around $20. Compared to other downtown pizza establishments I think that's more than fair. Others that were over for dinner last night were happy with the pizza. Of particular note: the downtown location is currently NOT accepting credit cards. read more
