Recommended by one of my BFF's (she used to frequent here for lunch when she worked in Espanola) as well as by another BFF whom wanted to dine here to take advantage of 5x the miles on his credit card (plus I had been wanting to try it each time I visited). I had never been here when it was Los Arcos nor the feed store prior to becoming Pizza 9 (years ago). The restaurant is a good size and has plenty of parking and seating. This is an order at the counter type of spot (which I do not like). We ordered a large cheese pizza with green chile, a large supreme, a large salad, an Italian sub for one bestie and the other bestie wanted a pizza roll (looked similar to a calzone). Everything was delivered promptly and one of my BFF's really likes their pizza; however, my other bestie, my mom, and myself were not impressed. Presentation was great, it just lacked flavor. You could barely taste the hint of the green chile and it was not spicy at all. The salad was pre-made and it was fresh but nothing special. My friend said his sandwich was decent and my other friend loved the pizza roll. We all ended up eating one pizza and took the other one home (we should have just ordered one). UPDATE... sorry few days late. The manager was wonderful once we connected. The driver never showed up. My order was reversed (credited). Went in the next day for lunch and loved my pizza. It was my first time inside. Had no idea it was so big and many games for kiddos. Will def order from here again. read more

The pizza is good, but the service is slow. My order too near an hour and it was nothing special and average--2 pizzas. It is not consistently clean. Today no paper goods in restroom. Manager did apologize for the looong wait and compensated. Teh establishment does offer pizza and beer. This is a local go to for Pizza. They support local college sports. read more

We had lunch in this location and the pizza was excellent! We had the calzones (cheese and meat) and the crust was delicious, super crispy. I really enjoyed the meat calzone because it's very similar to a Philly cheesesteak and Pizza (the chef is really creative). Easily my favorite pizza place in Española. I enjoy the Lobo but even the plain cheese pizza is great. Remember when you were a kid in the 80s and Pizza Hut was delicious? It's like that. The pizza rolls are good. Still need to try the sandwiches and calzones. read more

The pizza was smaller than the size we ordered, as in a 12" was more like a small. There needed to be more sauce, it tasted as if was only on half the pizza bc some pieces were completely dry. Don't listen to the complete and total LIAR Jesse C. She is full of shite. Every time I come here I get prompt service and my order taken post haste. I also come here to feed one of my construction classes almost once a month. Each class I call in our order around 11 for dine in and explain that we will be there at noon and EVERY time our order is either ready or just coming out of the kitchen. We are from out of town and looking for a quick carry out meal. I called to ask how many people does the deep dish pizza serve and girl on phone could not answer my question. Then the wait time was awfully slow. Email order confirmation said our pizza should be ready in 20 mins and we arrived at 17 mins and called in to confirm we had arrived in a curbside spot. We were told the pizza should be out shortly. Totally acceptable as we arrived early. Waited 30 mins and still nothing then I finally got a call asking me if I was missing a pizza. Well I have no pizza while I wait in parking lot so umm yeah. It's not even busy at this pizza parlor so I'm confused why there was confusion in providing my food once I've arrived. Furthermore, I saw two employees delivering a pizza curbside to another customer, TWO. I don't understand why it takes two if the order does not seem huge. Finally after a failed order. I checked my pizza Omg I asked for a half veggie . There were 3 vegetables on the entire pizza . How cheap can you be. Then the General manager had manners of a bafoon. I'm a firefighter with the US Forest service and recently along with about 70 other firefighters responded to a 55 acre fire on the Carson National Forest. The friendly people at Pizza 9 provided the dinners for our firefighters after a very long first shift on the fire. They went above and beyond and even threw in extra food. I love the pizza, salad, spaghetti and also the soup but they advertise the small soup as 8 oz. but it is actually 6 oz.
