If your order is delivered elsewhere you are S.O.L. The order will not be refunded they said I had to go through DoorDash, even though I ordered with Pizza Emergency. Tried door calling , texting driver with no response. On my DoorDash app the order doesn't come up because I didn't use DoorDash to order the food. I did apologize to the lady who told me no refund once we give it to DoorDash it is no longer their problem, I was not happy about not receiving the food. No food. No refund. The server we had put in an incorrect order for a small pizza, I told her 3 times small but we got a personal pan pizza. The salad bar was the best part of the meal! We thought since they have been talking about this place being a pizza buffet, they would have pizza out under heat lights with fresh ones frequently, and you could pick what you wanted and get it yourself. Wrong, we had to go to counter and ask for the pizza they had in a rotating heated (sort of) place. When we got the pizza , it was not fresh and was kind of cold. They have wings, some sort of egg rolls, garlic bread, churros uncovered on the counter, not sanitary at all and cold and not fresh either. Our waitress told us that when you order a specific pizza from the menu it is made fresh but the ones in the heated place are there till they are gone. The spaghetti was not great, it was in a container like what you would get rice from at a Chinese buffet, it too was cold. We all have heartburn after eating there. The men's bathroom looked like it was not finished. Unfortunately, this is the first and last time to eat there! They need to make MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS on their food!

So I gave the restaurant a heads up a week before hand and we agreed if they had available seating we were more than welcome to eat there. We showed up and were then yelled at by I'm presuming was the owner Charlie (I think that's his name) that there was too many of us and we couldn't put the tables together on the patio unless one person was paying for everyone (shocker they were dead when we walked in, so there's literally no reason they couldn't serve us, I guess he doesn't like money?). But they never refused us service, so we dined in for lunch, the food was great and the actual servers were awesome and did a fantastic job the entire time. Fast forward to the end of the meal, Charlie tried forcing a 20% gratuity on all the checks saying we were a group and thus it was mandatory but were forced to sit separate at normal tables thus have individual checks as if you were to dine in normally. When I asked him to remove it he started raising his voice at me telling me that they weren't staffed to serve us (again the staff did amazing, kitchen and front of the house so I don't see any problem there, no faith in his employees?) proceeded to raise his voice that we never should have showed up and given him our business. How do you not have the staff to serve only just your patio, that's all the room we took, on a Saturday lunch at that, if the restaurant got busy and filled up are you going to yell at every customer that walks in? Make that make sense from a management perspective. If this isn't true Taos culture I honestly don't know what is! Business owners hating business is just comical. I've been a long time fan of pizanos and have spent hundreds of dollars there. But I will not be returning and would much rather take our club, who does this 2-3 times a year to a resturant who actually appreciates business. Oh my favorite part is when I ordered food for the table he told me "that's a lot of food, you don't need all that food" I'm not sure if he thought it was just for me, or what but what kind of comment is that. And the cherry on top is that Charlie charged one of our tables the 20% gratuity, did not disclose it to them, did not show it on the receipt, mentioned nothing of it to them until after he ran their card. Over all just completely disappointing.

I had never been here when it was Los Arcos nor the feed store prior to becoming Pizza 9 (years ago). The restaurant is a good size and has plenty of parking and seating. This is an order at the counter type of spot (which I do not like). We ordered a large cheese pizza with green chile, a large supreme, a large salad, an Italian sub for one bestie and the other bestie wanted a pizza roll (looked similar to a calzone). Everything was delivered promptly and one of my BFF's really likes their pizza; however, my other bestie, my mom, and myself were not impressed. Presentation was great, it just lacked flavor. You could barely taste the hint of the green chile and it was not spicy at all. The salad was pre-made and it was fresh but nothing special. My friend said his sandwich was decent and my other friend loved the pizza roll. We all ended up eating one pizza and took the other one home (we should have just ordered one). Overall, just mediocre and I was disappointed as I wanted to be "wowed" by their Chicago style pizza.

My main disappointment the food is overpriced. The pasta dishes were pretty good, but not nearly $30 worth. The pizza crust is kinda doughy, which makes it feel heavier than expected... and also like it should cost less. I think if I'd dined in, the atmosphere would have pushed it up a bit, but on its own we were surprised by the bill.

Wait: I made dinner reservations for 6:45pm and upon arrival, the host/bartender asked everyone who had reservations and who is a walk in. A walk-in party of two were seated before us. We informed the host we had reservations, but when another customer came in, the host overlooked my party and my husband had to speak up to let him know we had reservations. We finally got seated 10 minutes after our reservation. This is very disappointing when you have two hungry kids in tow. Drinks: The wait for the food was long. We decided to put our drink order in and we were informed a few minutes later that the Java Stout I ordered was out. I decided to pick a jalapeño margarita and was informed by the waiter that they ran out of margarita mix and that he would comp my drink at no extra charge as he felt the drink might not meet my expectations. The margarita wasn't terrible as I expected; however, I appreciated his gesture. Food: my husband decided to order the salchiccha (sausage) en broccoli pasta dish and when he received his plate, there was no sausage in the pasta. When we informed the waiter, he mentioned he could take the dish back because that was the cook's interpretation of the dish. Management needs to update the menu to accurately describe the dish. Anyone reading the description of that entree would have expected pieces of sausage. I ordered the fettuccine all vogole and the portion of the pasta was very small. The amount of clams were disproportionate to the amount of pasta noodles given. My plate was delicious but the portion size could improve. All in all, management has a lot of improvements to work on in order to make the customer's experience great. Our waiter was great and we still gave him a good tip because the disappointing experience we had was outside of his control and he did his best to fix things. Management needs to do better.
