This is a great, popular place to hang out in a casual way. The food itself (primarily pizza) is priced very reasonably as well. The ambiance is like a casual bar with music in a background. It does get pretty busy, so if you are with a large group, you may not find a place for everyone to sit. Probably 1-3 people would be ideal. Overall, ok place. The pizza is freshly made to order and had some variety. I had the NM White which I thought was ok. Next time, I would probably want to try something else though. I think this is going to be our new go-to bar whenever we are in Santa Fe. Great margaritas, unassuming atmosphere, nice bartenders, and great pizza! This also is clearly a place where locals go, because every time we were in there recently, there always seemed to be people that knew people. It just has a good vibe to it. It's first come first served seating, and you go to the bar to order drinks and pizza. So no tableside service, at least while we were there recently. So, depending on the time, the line can get a little deep at the bar. But the bar tenders were quick and efficient, so as far as I could tell, no one was waiting overly long for their drinks. read more

I'm giving it a 3 based on the margarita and the pizza we ordered. The margarita was too tart without sweetness to balance it out. But I highly recommend the margherita pizza. When I closed out, it turned out the bartender had accidentally returned my credit card to another customer and charged their meal to it. She took my phone number and said she would call me back if/when the other customer returned my card. I never received a call. A couple of days later, I called Low'n Slow and got an employee who took my info and told me their finance guy would call me the next day. I never received that call or a refund for a meal I didn't buy. Didn't call them back because it's not my responsibility to keep pinging them for their mistake. My husband and I stopped in for a drink and the service was wonderful. When we got there the only table available was dirty but the staff quickly cleaned it for us and made us feel welcome. We had a couple of drinks and a pizza and the pizza was delicious. The vibe was upbeat and friendly. Everyone around us was having a wonderful time. This is a go to bar for me. The cocktails are well made with quality ingredients and the bartenders have always been nice to me. During nice weather the patio is beautiful. Lately I've been going to the Tuesday night trivia and it has been a lot of fun. Justin the bartender is exceptional. He's friendly, makes a good cocktail and puts the trivia questions together himself. This trivia night does not take itself too seriously. It is just a really good time.
