Grabbed a small pizza for lunch. The crust was over cooked but otherwise tasty. There was lots of sauce and cheese. We ordered at the counter and they brought out the pizza when it was ready. The cashier and owner were both friendly. The restruant was clean and comfortable. read more

Ahead of time is a problem, so the employee told us to take our box any elsewhere because he didn't wanna waste boxes and have to clean a table when I asked to speak to the owner, he told me that he couldn't give that information so the Worker from behind popped out and said look it up yourself and then mocked me so I remain behind the wash my hands got my paper plates to eat in my truck, and the gentleman continued to follow me all the way outside after he was talking about me to the other customers and creating a scene then tried to put it on me Any establishment that won't provide ownership information is not worth spending my money app and maybe get more mature employees. read more

Met my family for dinner and we were told we could not order on phone AND eat inside. Worker said owners don't want to waste boxes a s clean lobby and when my mom asked to contact owner they said it's against policy and another Jeered look onion google yourself! This place is off the beaten path but next trip we will head to the next city! Customer service is everything and what trouble was one box going to cause? I don't care how good or bad the food is-customer service is everything! After mom asked for owner number things escalated and staff mocked her and it upset her. Pizza is good but a little overpriced and the guy who takes phone orders is rude. Every time I call and ask if I can place an order for pickup (just trying to be courteous), I get cut off with a "go ahead" in a not-so-nice tone. read more

Solid pizza spot serving a variety of drafts, pizzas, calzones and more. We enjoyed our Meat Trio pie and Sausage Calzone that came with a side salad (which was good). The Garlic Bread was seasoned perfectly and was nice and crunchy. Also had a draft beer to wash it down. It's a cute spot inside with maybe 10 tables, a small bar with 8 seats, and an outdoor space that is nice and shaded. Highly recommend if you're heading to or from Santa Fe and want a solid place to stop. They also have a downtown Santa Fe location. read more

We just had a small family dinner at the Upper Crust Pizza - Eldorado this evening and the service and some of the food was awful!! There were four of us and each person was ordering individual items so I wrote down each order with particulars. The young man taking the order had a hard time taking the order and I had to repeat everything three times. After I paid and sat down at the table and checked the bill, I found that the order was all wrong. My daughter volunteered to go back to the counter and get it straitened out. That in itself was a major chore. The small pizza that was my order was something that I order regularly. It was not up to par but not terrible. My wife's basic calzone was undercooked and not really edible. My daughter's calzone was more fully cooked but missing some ingredients. My grandson's basic small peperoni pizza got lost in the kitchen and my daughter had to go back and help them find it. The salads were served without cutlery and we had to wait while the plastic cutlery packages were located. The worst thing was the live music. The amplification was out of balance and unnecessary for the small room. We had to move out to the patio to try to enjoy our "meal". The only thing that was good was the draft beer. Occasionally, I order take out pizza on the way home from work. I will not do that ever again. read more

This is fine pizza to take to the brewery across the street. You ask for it and pay for it and then they give it to you. I got sausage and mushroom. They put a little sausage and some mushrooms on some bread, sauce, cheese... you know, cooked it for awhile. This is a mediocre pizza that will make you perfectly happy with some beer. You'll be a hero when you give most of it away for free and not feel bad about not taking it home. read more

Whenever I visit my family in Santa Fe, this particular upper crust is on my way out of town. It's my last opportunity to get green chile on a pizza and that's very special to me. Our last visit was really nice, nice casual atmosphere nothing too fancy just right for a pizza place. The people that work there are always nice. I've not had a bad experience yet. read more

Jesus almighty- I know we are in an inflationary period, but $34 for a pepperoni with green chile and onion on one side. We got ours to go. It took 40 minutes. The 15 inch large pizza is good, but not $34 good- and the wanted a tip at the drive through. Don't waste your time and money trying to feed a family at Upper Crust. There are many options in Santa Fe. Tesuque Village Market- a full service restaurant and much better experience and food options is considered high dollar and high quality. The exact same pizza at Tesuque Village Market was $24. El Nido, a true fine dining experience- the same pizza is $26. I have been going to Upper Crust downtown for 40 years. They have clearly made the decision to extract an unreasonable amount of money from their customers. Good luck Upper Crust. I have been a consistent customer my whole life. Your pizza is good, your atmosphere is cheap and your service is adequate. Nothing about your restaurant is great, just average. read more

I really don't like leaving negative reviews for local restaurants, but this one deserves it. The crust is the basis for good pizza, and this crust is miserable. They make the crust up early in the day, and then it sits. Since there are no bubbles or other evidence of yeast, the best I can guess is that is frozen before use, but more likely, it's not even a yeast bread. The finished pie, regardless of toppings, is completely flat, and the crust has no flavor. Both times I ordered pizza here, the toppings were obviously not fresh and of poor quality. Pizza is so easy to make that, starting with quality ingredients, the result will always be good. If ya gotta eat, I suppose this will do, as will industrialized fast food. Otherwise, pass it by. read more

Bad service and food quality. I waited over 50 minutes for my pizza. I had order a dine in and my pizza came to me in a box and it was getting cold. The cheese was getting hard and the toppings dry. I didn't have no service at all while I waited for my pizza. I spent over $30.00 on my order to get a pizza less quality than Little Caesars pizza. I wouldn't recommend eating here. Without doubt one of the best place for gluten free pizza I've found anywhere. Great flavor and crispness. Toppings are good (I always go for the combo) and the takeout is always on time. Friendly efficient staff make it a pleasure. I recognize that gluten-free isn't everyone'a thing (my neighbors speak well of the regular crust), but it has made pizza something I can enjoy again. *Unauthorized Charge Warning - El Dorado Location* My family and I purchased 3 pizzas from this restaurant. After placing the order online for takeout, and arriving at the store, we were confronted by someone who identified himself as the manager informing us that the store had a policy of a mandatory gratuity that applied to take out orders. We asked for clarification for where this policy was advertised/written down, and the manager refused to point it out on either the menu or online. After this rude interaction, we made the decision to end the conversation and left with the store having successfully extorted a tip of $20 in cash out of us. A few days later, we checked our credit card statement and found that an additional tip of over $16 dollars was written in without our approval, after us making it very clear in store that we would not approve a tip on the credit card. Buyers beware. we've patronized this shop dozens of times over years, and will not be returning. We will also be warning our friends and family about this fraudulent activity. read more

I used to like this Eldorado location and ate here regularly, but when I went in recently for a Large "Combo" pizza and two soft drinks, I discovered they no longer have fountain drinks, but instead want to charge you $3.50 for a canned soda, which is a bit insane. I also noticed the price of the Combo pizza has gone up substantially and it was already a little overpriced for what it is. We wondered why there was literally no one at the restaurant at prime dining hour. We decided it wasn't worth the money, primarily because of the price of the drinks, so we left without ordering. The tab would have been well over $40 with tip for a pizza and two drinks. I understand that restaurants often boost the price of drinks, but charging $3.50 for something that cost them 50 cents (at most) makes you wonder about the prices for everything else on the menu. We've been here multiple times since moving out to this area. The pizza is inconsistent at best and isn't anything fantastic. You can get multiple pizzas and one will have a great crust, the next is super thin and over baked. I've tried it all and it never fails to disappoint. On top of the poor quality, the past two times we have ordered a pick up it has been missing items. While the staff is apologetic, it's ridiculous to wait 30 min for an order only to have to wait 45 MORE minutes for the order they didn't have ready. I would have said it was a fluke the first time but every time we have gone it's something or another. 3/3 fail. read more

I have eaten a lot of pizza. I have eaten pizza in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and now Santa Fe. The pizza at upper crust was without a doubt the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. I have eaten Domino's Pizza and I have eaten store-bought pizza and they are all much better than upper crust Pizza. I ordered a margarita pizza and even looking at it, it looked nothing like a margarita, pizza, nor in fact any pizza. It tasted, absolutely horrible.
