We checked out this cute cafe for lunch. Unfortunately, they were out of bread so we couldn't get any of the Paninis. We had a tofu, rice bowl, falafel wrap, vegan Ramen, bowl, and sunrise smoothie. Leaving negative reviews is a bummer, but hopefully this will help others plan accordingly. This is purely about service. My family went on a morning hike and we were heading back to Santa Fe for a late lunch. We have three kids - 3, 5, and 8. We looked this place up on the drive back and placed an order for pickup - timed perfectly for our return to town. (The receipt actually says "up to 20 minutes") When we arrived, the place was packed but only one person had their food (clear red flag). We were ignored for 5 minutes, and then waited another 20 minutes for our food to finally be ready. Meanwhile, the folks working there seemed very annoyed by our suggestions (we said we'd take the food to go or to eat in, whichever was faster), actively rolled their eyes, and did nothing to help make the situation more pleasant. I've worked in restaurants and I totally understand being in the weeds, but acknowledging the challenge and making a gesture goes a long way. By the time our kids finished eating, there were STILL people who hadn't gotten their food. So bottom line - our kids enjoyed the food but don't come here hungry. read more

Was pleasantly surprised by my turkey sandwich from this spot. We picked this spot since it was one of the few still open for a late lunch, and based on its unassuming environment wasn't expecting much, but my turkey was actually quite solid. And while I didn't get a rice bowl because I was skeptical of a rice bowl from a wrap shop, my friend's rice bowl actually looked really good (and he said it tasted pretty good too). We had had surprisingly good luck with Asian in Santa Fe, so we came here with no trepidation, but it was pretty bad. They messed up our order - correcting eventually - and the ramen tasted like instant - both broth and noodles. Yet other orders were worse! And when our neighbors spilled water all over our floor, no one came to clean it up. And it was unpleasantly smoky - one person in our party got eye problems and I had to go outside for air. We ordered 4 sandwiches and 1 smoothie to go to eat in the plaza. 20 minutes after the sandwiches were ready, we had gotten the wrong smoothie 2 times and watched as customers after us got their full orders. A man in the kitchen came out and told us we should not have ordered to go if we intended to eat there because he is very "environmentally conscious" (they gave us plastic bags and styrofoam boxes). A member of our group informed him we were in fact STILL waiting for the one smoothie. We gave up waiting for the smoothie and got a refund, then returned our plastic bags so they could reuse them. Had the best experience at The Wrap for an early dinner! The girl who took our order was so sweet and welcoming. They have both regular tables and an area where you can take your shoes off and sit on pillows while you eat at low tables. Very warm and relaxing. I had ordered a wrap and a smoothie (the Joy Ride smoothie) and I waited 20 minutes for the smoothie, during that time I was given the wrong smoothie at least three times (the first time being someone else's order, the Love potion, and then came back twice with the Green Paradise, definitely not what I ordered). We originally were going to eat to go, but as we were starving and waiting for my smoothie we decided to eat. This one guy (part of the staff) was condescending towards us saying that we should've said that we were going to eat there so as to not waste plastic (which I mean I get, but if your concern for the environment is so great, why not go for earth-friendly options) but we told him we were still waiting for my smoothie. NOTE: this guy told me like 10 minutes in that my smoothie was coming, so he absolutely knew I DID NOT get my smoothie. People were ordering smoothies after us and they got their smoothie fast. After the guy spoke to us about the plastic, I was absolutely done with waiting as this was absurd, and asked for a refund, which they said they returned my money, so that's good I guess. I get human error as i have worked in the restaurant business, but that was insane. Food was decent. I don't think I will be going here again. read more
