We had to try out this place and I'm glad we did. Cutely decorated with lots of colorful Japanese themed stuff, and spacious. I also thought the way they plate orders was a nice touch. Service was quick and the waitress was nice. Thanks Kaya for answering our many questions. Price point is as expected for all-you-can-eat, so for us, not gonna be a regular stop, we just generally don't go to AYCE much, but would be cool to come again with a party. Worth trying out if you're hungry and like sushi. Generally I'm all for more asian food in Santa Fe, so Yay for another Japanese / sushi place!

The food was delicious, a good selection for the $25 all you can eat price tag. Food is made to order so service may take a few minutes but comes out warm and plates great. Not a lot of people on a Sunday lunch but plenty of space.

    Beautiful presentation

I was not expecting amazing sushi in Santa Fe, especially at an all-you-can eat place. Everything was wonderful starting with the seaweed salad and miso soup. The sushi was made to order and not sitting out. There were some things I either wasn't expecting or never tried before. Some things I wouldn't get again, but there's no question it was the best quality. My ONLY complaint was some of the appetizers came out after they brought out the main courses, but that's because it was all made to order. I hope this place is here for many years to come.

My husband loves sushi and specifically rolls. We do not go out for sushi often because it's expensive in Santa Fe..... Fu sushi is an excellent value in a town where there are few excellent values. The rolls are made to order, as are all other menu items, so it is an all you can eat, but not a buffet, which we REALLY REALLY like. We have been there 3 times in the last 3 weeks and have enjoyed everything we have ordered. The staff and service is excellent and the specialty rolls are very good. We feel we now have a sushi place we can add to our list of places to frequently support.

No one else came to take them away till the near end of our meal so I found that a bit odd. Happy Hour runs twice daily with reduced prices on food & beverages from 3-5p and 9-10p. They have an extensive sake menu categorized by flavor profile designed for pairings, along with a lean but modern wine list including detailed tasting notes. Japanese whisky and exotic green tea (try the kuki cha!) round out a full beverage program, and deep booths offer private views of the lush valley below. Chef Kiko Rodriguez offers a four-course tasting menu at an exceptional value for $65 - trying this or any of Paloma's suggestions from their fresh sushi menu (only restaurant in New Mexico with fish flown in from Japan daily) will surely please. Gloriously chilled tuna sashimi was thinly sliced cut with heat from fresh wasabi and a savory ginger shoyu. Hand rolls are served in pairs, and the spicy tuna was simple, elegant, and delightful - a perfect showcase of the freshest fish. Before switching to dessert, shaved ginger is also snappy and cleansing. I was absolutely mind blown by the Sakura Pannacotta - delicate and dreamy custard textured like chawanmushi with soft aromatic cherry blossom and the most delectable shortbread accent. Three light courses that were fully nourishing, absolutely satisfying, and delightfully delicious!

The goodness began with Naomi, who helped me fix an error in my reservation and get a table at a good time tonight. The goodness continued with our server Mitzi, who should be teaching graduate classes in hospitality in every big city. She was friendly without being overbearing, informative without being pedantic, subtle and gracious. Now, the food! My wife chose the vegetarian tasting menu and I had some of each dish: so very flavorful (a green salad with pears, a life-changing mushroom bisque [and I don't like mushrooms!], a chickpea croquette with pickled artichoke hearts and ratatouille, and a substitution of the lemon crepe for three yummy scoops of sorbet and gelato. I chose the scallops, perfectly cooked and moist, over couscous, and a dish of tasty sauteed baby spinach. A wonderful experience, and not overpriced, and everyone treated us sweetly. The musical soundtrack was swinging, and at a compassionate volume. Our first trip to Santa Fe, and we found a gem. Hooray! And thank you, Mitzi!

This was our last dinner out in Santa Fe and was the best dining and culinary experience here…read more Everyone told us this is the best fine dining in the entire state and they were correct. The interior is classy and very comfortable. We were seated at a nice comfy corner booth. The soft music in the background was soothing and just noticeable enough without being a distraction. We were served complimentary flutes of local sparking wine and a fresh baked bread basket and butter to start. We then ordered cocktails and three starters. First was a split plate of the endive smoked duck salad with a warm bacon vinegarette. Wow...this was nice and refreshing. This was followed by the crab dumplings with fresh corn and peas and lobster sauce. Delicious! The final small plate was seared foie gras on top of banana bread toast. This was very good. I miss foie gras. Unfortunately, it's banned in California. They had a 2023 Sea Smoke "Ten"Pi ot Noir on the wine list. This is one of the best Pinot Noirs produced in California and not easy to find. This was a no doubter and we ordered a bottle to pair with our entrees. My wife ordered their signature elk tenderloin for redemption because the restaurant the night before failed at executing this. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop. This was cooked to perfection with a nice thin crust on the outside and a perfect very light pink juicy center. We ordered a side of brocolini that was pan roasted with shallots and butter. Everything was very good and Michelin grade in our opinion. Lastly we ended the evening and split the tiramasu type of desert. My wife had the expresso martini and I had an 18 year old Glen Morangie scotch neat. The service was excellent and worth the splurge. This is a must when visiting Santa Fe.

I started with what I thought was going to be a plain Caesar salad, but when it arrived, it was served like a sushi or lettuce wrap. It was very creative and tasty! It made it much more fun to eat than the average salad. It was rich and topped with anchovies, like a true Caesar salad. I then had the peppercorn Elk tenderloin. I asked it be served as the chef recommended, which is medium rare. I am sometimes wary of medium rare, but this tenderloin was DIVINE! It was so moist and bursting with flavor. I loved it. The cocktails were creative and just as enjoyable as the meal. Other options for dinner apps include: cornbread, ahi crudo, mussels, and bison carpaccio. Mains: scallops, pan roasted Branzino, toasted masa gnocchi, grilled Maine lobster tails, duck leg confit, and a pecan coffee rubbed prime flat iron. I'm sure all of them would be amazing. Reservations recommended. Please note that the rooftop bar does not take reservations and is not on the same system as the restaurant. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.
