Came to an event here - $40 drinks with house tequila should be illegal especially in Brooklyn

Best club in Williamsburg, great vibes, location and atmosphere. The decor reminds me of Miami.

Went to an event here a few nights ago and ended up misplacing my phone within like, the first hour I was there.

So good and not horribly expensive! Dance floor is an intimate vibe, where phone use is discouraged and everyone is moving. Really electric place with great sound and vibes. Preface: I was down bad, y'all. I had the norovirus - which has been rapidly spreading in NYC - and…read morewalking pneumonia at the same time. I'm not sure how this happened because I'm always mindful (and demure ) of the places I go and religiously wash my hands when I get home. BUT after narrowly avoiding death, my friends decided to celebrate my full recovery, and life in general, by dragging me to Jupiter Disc, last night. I'm not sure what the cover was because my friend paid for tickets in advance. For a dive bar, it's quite spacious it was compared to similar spots, which are usually smaller and have you stuffed like you're inside a tin can of sardines. Don't get me wrong, it's not huge but roomie enough to get your dance on without stepping on someone else's shoes. It's also super clean and has proper air ventilation... if you're into that sort of thing. The light fixture in the middle of the ceiling... should I call it a centerpiece? is impressive as well. I've seen many LED fixtures over the years. This is amongst my favorites. Another win of Jupiter Disco: on a cold, January night they had an adequate number of bartenders. Something other places struggle with. I can only speak to the cocktail I had and it was wonderful: Professional Widow ( Tequila + Lemon + Ginger + Cardamom + Blackberry Balsamic). I had a few of those and they were all made to perfection. My friends ordered other drinks but they said everything was to their liking. The DJ - For Future's Sake: Just wanted to drop a quick additional note about the DJ, For Future's Sake. Each time I hear his sets I become more and more impressed. His ability to mix top 40 hits with obscure and niche dance and EDM tracks together is unmatched. Shoutout to him for keeping the vibes pretty epic last night.

Bembe is one of those places. If you know, you know -- and…read moreif you don't, you should fix that immediately. Tuesday nights? Reggaeton goes crazy. The room is moving, the energy is right, and it feels like a real party instead of a playlist on shuffle. Friday nights with the live drums? Different level. That's when Bembe really shows its roots. The drums add this raw, authentic feel that turns the whole night into an experience instead of just a bar stop. Now let's talk drinks -- because this one deserves its own moment: The tequila with the lime dipped in coffee grounds is surprisingly delicious. I wasn't expecting it to work... but it absolutely does. Must-drink. Non-negotiable. This is a place to dance, drink, sweat a little, and leave feeling like you actually went somewhere. Bathroom Review (2 out of 4) Safety - Bouncer presence helps a lot. You feel secure moving back there. Accessibility - Easy enough to get to, no maze or weird hallway journey. Space - Bathrooms are small and tucked way in the back. Gets cramped fast. Privacy - Sinks are outside the bathrooms, which kills the privacy a bit when it's packed.

Music is always good, sometimes a couple decades back as they dig in the crates and nostalgic dancehall plays... the service is always attentive and the female bartenders are always friendly... my fave drinks are the passionfruit margarita or the rum punch either one will do you just right. The real vibe starts a little late for the weeknight events... so be prepared to lose some sleep before work... always a vibe.. always safe and a staple in the Williamsburg communityfor Caribbean.

SARAH, the security guard is a predator!!!!…read more I went to House of Yes last night for Futch, a lesbian dance party. I been a couple times before and met Sarah there. She was always so friendly and flirty with me. Last night I came with my new partner. As soon as we walked in, she was standing nearby and she looked angry seeing us together. The rest of the night, all I could feel were her eyes on me from afar. At one point, she passed by me and secretly caressed my ass. I felt very uncomfortable and asked my partner if we could leave right after. I didn't feel safe asking for a manager to report her as she's already a supervisor security there. This is supposed to be a safe space and I DID NOT FEEL SAFE!!! Apparently from another person there, she gets "around" with girls there and even denied someone entry because they were no longer together. I would think she would be more respectful and keep it professional. I DID NOT CONSENT FOR HER TOUCHING ME LAST NIGHT!!! It's gross to think this is their employer. I will no longer be going back and neither will some of my other friends. It sucks, I really loved that party.

BEWARE: Multiple Phones Stolen in One Night, Management Showed No Concern…read more Both my friend and I had our phones stolen inside Ciao Ciao. We later learned that at least two other women also had their phones stolen that same night. When we reported it to the bouncers and management, they showed little concern and made no meaningful effort to investigate, review security footage, or help locate the stolen phones. We even pointed out an individual whose behavior seemed suspicious, but instead of investigating him, management defended him. After I questioned him myself, I watched him immediately leave, get into a car parked directly in front of the club, and drive away. Something seemed quite fishy about his relationship with the club. What makes this especially concerning is the safety aspect. If I had not been with my friends, I would have been stranded for the rest of the night without a phone to contact anyone, get directions, or access transportation. Having multiple phones stolen in one evening should be a major red flag for any venue, yet staff seemed completely uninterested in addressing it. Based on this experience, I would not return and would urge anyone visiting to keep a very close eye on their belongings.
