    Midnight Chocolate
    Asad B.

Gave the Uno Gelato at Stamps landing a try and it absolutely hit the spot! Got the Midnight Chocolate which was a perfect blend for those who prefer darker flavours of chocolate. This was rich, creamy and extremely decadent! Servers were extremely patient while we looked around and offered us multiple tastings which I appreciated. Added bonus is that stamps landing is a great place to get a scoop of ice cream and chill by the seawall!

U-no Gelato is a 24/7 frozen sweet treat you should have... no matter if it's rain or shine, summer or winter... I choose the following 4 pints: Akbar Mashti A beloved Persian classic with fragrant saffron, rosewater, and rich pieces of Devonshire style cream from Iran along with crunchy roasted pistachios from California. I love this Persian ice-cream. This is a must-try flavor which is so unique with its saffron and rosewater smell. The chunchy roasted pistachios added the nutty taste in it. Almond Lemon aka Almond Siciliano Be transported to the "Lemon Riviera" with our creamy (yet vegan) Almond Siciliano sorbetto. A fresh, new flavour crafted with juicy Sicilian Lemon oil, with roasted Italian almonds, and a touch of organic cane sugar for a smooth, delicious, and healthy treat. This is a refreshing almond lemon flavor. The sorbetto is smooth. Passion Fruit This juicy sorbetto is made with just three ingredients: passion fruit from Colombia, organic sugar and fresh BC water. This colourful and refreshing il frutto della passione will transport you to the tropics! (Gluten free, Vegan) If you love passion fruit, you gotta try this gelato. Very strong passion fruit! Yuzu Citrus A rare Yuzu lemon, this refreshing sorbetto has fragrant notes of mandarin orange, grapefruit, and lemon zest.  This floral treat has all the sweet tartness crave in a sorbetto! (gluten-free, vegan) This flavor reminds me of Japan. It has such a strong Yuzu citrus flavor. Each pint is $13 + taxes Uno Gelato will deliver to your home directly free with minimum 4 pints purchase. Taste: 5/5 Thanks @unogelato.yvr for delivering the gelato to my home and keeping me stocked on gelato ice-cream. I guess they have a mobile freezer inside their delivery truck. The gelato were still frozen when they were in my hands. They kept me updated with the expected delivery time staus. It was easily spotted their delivery truck with a huge Uno Gelato logo. It was a pleasant experience with their goods and services. Follow me @eatisvibikki #eatisvibikki #lovetoeat #gelato #dessert #vegabicecream #vegangelato #canada

Mango tango on a charcoal waffle cone

Cute little gelato place on the waterfront! The service was great and so was the serving :) Here's what I tried: Mango tango - really liked the fact that it didn't taste artificial at all! It's like a real mango but in a gelato form (basically what it is) Very cherry - I'm usually not a fan of cherry but this flavor was tart and light which I really appreciated. Buffalo milk lemon - a creamy lemon flavor to it which is perfect for those who like creamy things but want a hint of fruit in it. It's refreshing! The cones are free of charge which was nice and you can choose from a regular waffle cone, chocolate waffle cone, charcoal cone. Overall, a really cute place with great service and generous portions :) would recommend!

Food: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Overall: 3.5/5 bumped up to 4 Being the gelato lover that I am, I was excited to find out that there was a new spot in Stamps Landing! The Uno stand is nestled right next to the Mahoney and Son's While we were waiting for our table to be ready at M&S, we decided to take a quick peek at the flavours at Uno and the staff were nice enough to let us sample ahead of time when we told them we'd be coming back for dessert. They had about 10-12 flavours to try and I sampled the Akbar Mashti, Salted Caramel, and Black Sesame. I ended up going with the Akbar Masthi (made of rose water, pistachio, cream, and saffron) in a cone and my friend went with the salted caramel. I have to admit that the texture of the salted caramel was much better than the one I got, although it was slightly more salty than usual which I didn't mind. My biggest thumbs down for this place was the size of the scoop and the taste of the waffle cone - for the same price you can get a much bigger scoop at other ice cream places, and the cone appeared to be stale and tasteless. As for the service, it seemed as though the staff were all training/new as they seemed a little unsure of their knowledge and struggled with the scooping a little bit, but they were all very nice and friendly which was appreciated! One thing to keep in mind is that there is no actual seating at this location since it's only a stand, but boy is it gorgeous to walk along the water on a hot summer day and even take a seat on one of the ledges! Overall, I'd stop by if I was in the area but would be more curious to go to Uno's other locations as the staff said that they are a lot bigger with many more flavours to choose from.

Wow some of the best gelato I've ever had. We just came upon it on our way to Stamp's Landing to ride the Aquabus. We ordered the Mango and Mint Chocolate Chip. The Mango was super smooth and each bite was almost like eating a fresh mango! More surprisingly good was the Mint Chocolate Chip because it was made with real mint. It didn't taste artificial at all. This place was so good that we made a stop again when we returned from our Aquabus ride. Definitely recommend this a must visit when in the area.

    On the waterfront!

Super friendly staff and a very generous serving of scoops! Their gelato is one of the best I've ever had - super smooth and just the right amount of creamy. A little on the pricey side - but well worth it! A nice view of Vancouver as you enjoy some great gelato :).

Uno Gelato does not disappoint. Excellent gelatos! I don't want to pick favourites but their black sesame... Try it for yourself.

Delicious gelato, but quite expensive compared to other ice cream shops in the area. Nice that it is on the seawall.

The ice cream here is awesome and the scoops were very generous. Only thing is...I wasn't a fan of how crowded and noisy it was inside. Had so much trouble hearing when people were talking to me. I ordered the Original Peak, with a twist of vanilla and dark chocolate with cereal at the bottom. The first thing that stood out was the airy and fluffy texture, almost lighter than traditional soft serve. The dark chocolate brought a mild cocoa note, while the cereal added a crunchy, slightly nostalgic contrast at the base. That said, I expected the vanilla to have more of a rich, milky flavor. This is not the place for plain vanilla; it's the combinations (think honeycomb, matcha, or seasonal specials) that bring the experience to life. Based on the shop's concept, Soft Peaks is known for using local organic milk and keeping sweetness restrained, which tracks with that lighter, less sugary profile. Adding something like cereal or crunchy toppings makes a big difference. If you're a vanilla purist looking for a strong dairy note, this might feel a bit subtle.

When getting the matcha ice cream, I suggest getting straight matcha instead of the twist with vanilla because the vanilla washes out the matcha; it comes through better on its own. The sundaes are fun and a good, more affordable alternative to the similar parfaits at high end matcha cafes. I tried the tuna egg salad crepe and thought it was actually really good! The crepe was fresh and tender, there was a healthy amount of filling, and the tuna salad was actually mostly tuna with just enough mayo to hold it together which is how I prefer it. Again, the service is just through a window - you actually order at an electronic kiosk and the only interaction with a person is when your order is ready. There are two small tables outside if you want to eat there. During the busy summer season, it's very difficult to actually secure one of these tables, but there's other seating on the pedestrian streets just a few blocks away on Robson.
